Scripture reading: Revelation 4

Here we are in Revelation 4 with the four beasts and WE ARE BEING CHANGED. We are being metamorphosed. A gradual change is taking place in us. God wants us to give way to this change – GIVE WAY. The caterpillar craves food and it eats green leaves and everything. It eats and eats and eats until it goes into a chrysalis or a long sleep, then awakes as a beautiful butterfly. We must feed upon the Word of God until the time of final change comes. The change begins right now, gradually. Sometimes you cannot even see it. You look like an old caterpillar outside, but a beautiful butterfly is being formed within the soul, THE THRONE OF GOD.

The twenty-four elders sitting around the throne represent the priesthood. We are becoming priests IN OUR SOULS. The four beasts, the four natures of the soul, are being changed. Hallelujah! The PERFECTED IMAGE is shown in the white robes and the crowns worn show kingship. For God has promised us kingship. The lightnings and thunderings that proceed “out of the throne” room are the massive power of God’s energy and life which will come forth to change the world in which we live, bringing us into total union and oneness with God.

“The seven lamps” that burn are “the seven Spirits of God.” The Spirit of the churches will be in us and it will be all perfected in us. One church will NOT be in charity and another one in evangelism and another one in praise. We will ALL be in charity, in evangelism, in praise, and in love, and ALL THE ATTRIBUTES of God will come forth in the soul nature of man.

The “sea of glass” means there will be a clearness, a purity that you can see right through. There will be nothing to hide. No one will have secrets. It will be just one pure nation of people, one holy nation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people. There will be clarity. This heaven is the heaven WITHIN US, the place from which Christ is going to reign and rule in the earth.

In Revelation, “the four beasts” are “full of eyes.” When you look in Ezekiel 1, there are wheels outside. The wheels represent the Holy Ghost. In Revelation 4, instead of wheels, gyrating wheels moving with the spirit, the eyes came into the beasts themselves. The wheels had incorporated themselves into the beasts. The Holy Ghost had now incorporated the soul of man. Remember, the Holy Ghost is in the man’s spirit at this present time. HE IS WORKING IN THE SOUL. He is preparing a place in the soul FOR THE CHRIST. When the fullness of Christ comes, then we will have Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

When the beasts give glory to God, the elders fall on their faces. At this point man does not want any more glory. HE GIVES IT ALL TO GOD. “THOU art worthy…for THOU…hast redeemed us.” GLORY TO GOD!

Scripture reading: Isaiah 7:15, 22

When we read the story of the Eden incident, it becomes clearer and clearer that this serpent still carries an organized opposition to God’s divine government. One of his most ingenious devices is to persuade mankind that he does not exist. His progressive rage and devastating activity, as also, thank God, his mistakes in trying to misrepresent God to man, should be enough to convince us of his existence. We should not forget that he is ever ambitious to aspire to the throne of God – man’s heart.

Let us examine his presentation to Eve.

  1. The tree was good for food (to satisfy the carnal man).
  2. Delight to the eyes (charming the desires working in the soul).
  3. A tree to make one wise (ambition to be as God – seeking light or wisdom without LIFE).

THE BIG LIE: YOU SHALL NOT DIE. SPIRITUAL DEATH IS DEATH.

If we compare this with the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, we will notice the same order.

  1. “Command this stone that it be made bread” (satisfy this carnal, physical man).
  2. Satan offers Jesus the kingdoms of the world, saying they were given to him (Satan). (How could he forget that Jesus knew that he beguiled Eve, and cheated them of their possession and position?) Satan wanted to stop Jesus from dealing with the sin question, and establishing righteousness in the earth, once and for all. Satan said to Jesus, “If thou wilt worship me, all shall be thine.” A liar indeed, and the father of lies; from him comes the seed of lying and deception.
  3. “Cast thyself down.” It is one thing to exercise power and authority, but another to obey God. We cannot tempt God. Make sure who gives the order, and who will get the Glory.

Here Satan met his Waterloo. He came upon the Divine Nature, and was completely devastated by the magnitude of the power of the authority of Christ, which brought to light the fact that…

  1. Man’s life and existence is not bound to the provision of this earth, but will be someday altogether, by Divine Support.
  2. Satan’s place is behind Jesus, since God has preeminence, and He alone must be worshiped and served.
  3. It is already written that you must not tempt the Lord your God. He had a commission from the Father and nothing could distract Him.

Jesus Christ, our Lord, was eating of the tree of life; therefore, evil had no power over Him. The difference with Adam is that he did not take the advantage of the tree of Life before the Devil took advantage of Eve (the weakness of Adam). Adam’s doom was knowing good and evil without the power or the knowledge to handle evil.

Thank God, however, for the SECOND ADAM, who to the fight and to the rescue came. Jesus actually instituted for us that source of milk production, that everyone who comes into this abundance of milk might also eat butter and honey, that they might know to choose the good and refuse evil. This process is our growing into the Divine Nature, which we must progressively experience.

Let us not play with Satan and be ignorant of his subtle devices. He tried to show Eve how God wanted to keep them ignorant, not to be as wise as He, God, is – he did not tell her that God could handle the evil and keep it where it belonged. Her heart went after this knowledge; they got it, but could not handle it.

With the passage of time (thousands of years), Satan’s intentions have not changed. He is much wiser and more subtle now (accumulating thousands of years of experience). He still tries to deceive and destroy; he is still a liar and the father of lies; he might not use the same words that he used to Eve and to Jesus, but in these days he is saying things like, “Jesus is not coming back,” “Jesus died to save the whole world, and we are a part, don’t worry,” “We are all sinners, and you cannot help it,” “Jesus forgives sins, so do whatever you feel like doing, and pray afterwards,” “You don’t need anyone to teach you, you have the Holy Ghost.” Those who follow these words rebel against God’s Divine Order for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. These and numerous other unscriptural words and deeds written on life’s pages, that can be seen and read every day (if the eye is single and we have the mind of Christ), are subtly designed to cheat people out of the privilege of growing into the divine nature, which is the only weapon against the wiles of the devil. (Eating the tree of life)

God expects us to walk with Him (no independence, totally dependent) so closely that we express His full purpose. In this way, we will obtain power and authority with Christ, that the prince of this world, (who is under judgment), might find nothing in us to manipulate. We need to be less identified with the sinful world, which leads to evil and destruction (perversion of heart and mind, even to the extent where God’s truth is twisted to be a lie).

Oh, what a glorious day, when our mind, emotions, desires and will come under the complete authority of the Spirit, completely obedient to the will of the Father as Jesus (the man who walked the streets of Galilee) was to His Father. He warred a clean warfare, according to the will and pleasure of the Father, defeated Satan, put him under foot, and lifted us up together with Himself in heavenly places. By this means, we, too, by the effectual working of the Spirit within us, will also put Satan under foot, as we keep on resisting and rejecting him, until he finds nothing in us.

BUTTER AND HONEY SHALL WE ALL EAT THAT WE MAY LEARN TO CHOOSE GOOD AND REFUSE EVIL. Praise the Lord, and Amen.

Scripture reading: Leviticus 14:10-13

When you look in Leviticus 14:10-13, you will see that there was a “he lamb” offering made. But the next offering that was made was the “ewe (she) lamb.” The scripture would never refer to Jesus as a “she” lamb, so what God is saying is that He has a Church that is going to be walking in His footsteps, and walking in His precepts, a Church that will lay down their lives to bring in the harvest of God. This is what the ewe lamb is. But then, He said that there is another “he lamb” to be offered in the evening, and that lamb is all the lambs put together.

Let me take you to Revelation 12 where the woman brings forth the manchild. Revelation 12:1, And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

We are talking about a Church – a Church standing on a Church, pregnant with a Church, bringing forth a Church. And that is the LAST CHURCH, which is no longer a “she” Church. It is a “HE” Church. But then, why did “HE” change from a woman to a man? Because the Church is now having the power in Himself. When you see the men in Christ, the men in God just like Jesus Christ Himself, then you know that Christ is part of that Church. So Jesus Christ is bringing forth a Church that will be filled with CHRIST.

The brethren said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1b). “Teach us to pray; we don’t know how to pray; teach us to pray.” He said unto them, “When you pray, say, ‘Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.’ And then you say, ‘Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, IN ME as in Heaven.’” “In earth,” He says. IN EARTH, but we don’t expect it just to be in the dirt outside there. It must be in the HIGHEST EARTH, when man is filled with the power of God, and with the fullness of God, and Christ is reigning! Sometimes I hear you singing, “Thy throne, O God, is forever,” and I am smiling. You don’t know what you are saying. The throne of God will be in your heart. He said, “You will be the throne of God, the temple of the living God, and I will create an everlasting temple.” If the temple is everlasting, then He can give you everlasting promises.

So if we understand the Word of God – it is just one Word and right through and through we can see the Word of God bringing forth life everywhere.
