Boy Saved from Angry Men

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

God said that the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. And the glory of God must come through you! Let us think about it a little: If I were a devil, I would put up blocks, rubbish, and trash, inside of the little places of the human soul so that God’s glory would not flow out. I would go and cut leaves, all kinds of trash and lies, false doctrines, and little hurts here and little hurts there and by this I would prevent the people of God from moving in God. You have to understand that the children of God are not thin skinned. If you are thin skinned, you cannot serve God, because the devil will find some butterfly to fly against you and brush against you and you will never serve God. You have to forget yourself, forget the self, forget what you want, forget your desires.

I remember one night I was on a bus traveling from one point to another and the devil anointed a boy to throw a stone into the big plate window of the bus. The glass went, “Crackkkk, crackkkk, crackkkk.” The owner of the bus lost his mind. He was a very good Christian at one point in time, but he could not control himself and lost out with God. In this particular instance he rushed out into the darkness and grabbed the boy. Three or four other men jumped on the little boy too, and they would have killed him right there. I rushed out of the bus, grabbed the boy and covered him up. Those men started pounding on me, but I didn’t feel anything. I had a job to do and my job was to save the boy’s life. I took the boy in the bus, because they were now taking him to the police station and beating him along the way. As I did so, they came down on me and started kicking me. One of the men looked at me, rushed in and kicked me. I didn’t feel a thing. For Christ’s sake, I had no emotion. That night I had no feeling! It didn’t matter how much they kicked. Nobody was going to get me to let that boy into their hands to kill him.

If you have a purpose in life, you cannot afford to let anything stop the flow of God in your life for you are ordained of God to fill this earth with His glory. Try to pray and fast sometimes. Pray the prayer in which you say, “God, please bless your people today. God, make me a blessing. I need to be delivered from everything that would prevent the glory of God from flowing out of me.” And you will see what God will do.
