Scripture reading: Revelation 1:5-6

Let us talk again about wrestling against princes and their palities – “principalities.” What is a prince? Can you conjure up in your mind what a prince is? Yes, it is one who is supposed to inherit a kingdom or a throne. When God said that there are principalities, it means that the spirits that fell (or deliberately threw themselves down from heaven – see Jude 1:6) were promised a kingdom. Satan promised them a kingdom. But the problem with that promise is that it is the same kingdom which is promised to Jesus Christ. Jesus says to us, “YOU are My kingdom.” He also says, “I will make you a kingdom of priests (Exodus 19:6, Revelation 1:6).”

So, what happened? Satan went out and took this kingdom. He took it, because you and I were in the kingdom of the enemy and we were all filled with devils. Satan thought that he had won. But you see, time is only a little speck in the long thing that we call eternity. At the beginning there is eternity, then a time comes and it becomes an interruption in eternity, and then the eternity continues. So all Satan has is a little window of time in which to rule in a kingdom. These princes feel that you belong to them. Yes! It was in Freeport, Illinois that the devil came personally to a brother who was there to minister to the people of God and told him, “These people are not yours. They are mine!” The same thing happened to us up in a place called Mona, wherein the devil came into the meeting and said, “I have my people here also.” When he said that, a little girl, 12 years of age, jumped up and said, “SATAN, TAKE YOUR PEOPLE AND GO!” It was the absolute Word of God! When she said that, three women jumped up and sailed through the door, never to return.

I want you to understand that Satan is going around claiming you as his kingdom. He has offered you to certain spirits that he calls “Princes.” These spirits expect to inherit you, to have you. You know, it is like how you have a herd of cows; you breed them, you feed them, you kill them, you eat them, you drink their milk, and you keep them multiplying. That is the way Satan is looking at the people of the world. He sees them as his kingdom and he offered this kingdom to his princes. These princes are generally angels who have fallen from the second realm of heaven.

I do not know if you understand what I am talking about. There is the heaven of heavens, where God (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) is. Then there is another realm under it where you have the angels Michael, Gabriel, and Heylel. These are their names as given in the Bible and you notice they all end in “el.” The “el” part of their names, in the Hebrew language, is “God.” So the name Gabriel means “Messenger of God;” and Michael means “Like God.” They are the high spirits. (Note: Heylel is the name in the Hebrew of the angel spoken of in Isaiah 14:12 who fell and became Satan. The KJV translators called him by the name “Lucifer,” which is the name of the Morning Star god that was worshipped by the Saturnalians.) God never gives us any other names of angels in the Bible. So any other names of angels that you have heard of, they are devil angels.

Now, these spirits have magnificent powers. I believe that it is from the third realm that they have gotten some of these princes, but these angels (Michael, Gabriel) are stronger, higher, and more powerful than the ordinary angels. When the ordinary angels cannot get certain things done, they appeal to this higher realm. Do you remember the time (in Daniel 10) when Gabriel went with the message and he could not get through because he was facing another angel of the same magnitude as himself? He could not pass through with the message to the people of God because the people of God were serving the devil. Gabriel called back to heaven and God sent Michael. When Michael came, he showed the blood (forgiveness of sins). Forgiveness of sins! He said, “These people that you say are yours, WE COVER THEM WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS!” The devil had to back off and the message went through to Daniel.

I want you therefore to understand where we are and what I am trying to show you. It is something very profound that God has given me to give you and I hope you have the energy to accept it.

Thought for today:  Let us fight for our inheritance in the Kingdom of God and reject the right of Satan to rule over us.

Scripture reading: Ephesians 6:12

When you look at Ephesians 6:12, you understand that it is a deception when you believe that another man is against you. Look well, and you will see who is really against you. It is a spirit that is motivating the man, and the man is maybe one percent of what you are seeing. You see, most of the people that you see around you, I call them “artificial people.” You see a man coming along, strutting, swaggering—you do not really know what is in his mind. Maybe he is putting that on to deceive you, to make you see a bold, brave man when there is but a little whimpering kid inside. You see? So we wrestle not against “FLESH AND BLOOD.” Take your eyes off the things that you can see. The Bible says Jesus did not go by the seeing of the eyes or by the hearing of His ears (Isaiah 11:3). He was looking at the real thing.

Those of you who believe that somebody is against you, it is the first error that you are making towards that person. You should go to that person and do everything possible to win the person. Humble yourself to win the person, because you know that though that person might kill you, he is not against you. Your real enemy is the spirit that has the person in bondage, and he is his enemy and he is your enemy. We do not have human enemies! I mean, that sounds very peculiar compared to what is happening around now. You know, men are going around trying to kill, and these are men who are just murderers. They are not our enemies. The spirits that drive them are our enemies. Guess why God let them loose on you? Why would God let loose a spirit on you? It is because He has given you the power to CONTROL them!

I was walking in Miami one day. I walked into a wrong area and somebody didn’t like it. He brought out his dog, a Doberman Pinscher. He commanded the dog to attack me. The dog came bounding towards me. I looked at him and said, “I REBUKE you in the name of Jesus!” The dog pulled back and that man was so shocked! He opened his eyes wide and looked. It was not the dog that was hit but it was the spirit that they had put in the dog to attack me!

So you must realize that we are living in a spiritual realm! Our realm here is the lowest. Let me say it again: the realm we are on is the lowest frequency. There is another frequency up here a little higher, where some other spirits are. Above them there are other spirits higher, and there are other spirits even higher above them! Amen! If you walk with the Lord, you will overcome in the area that God has given you. If you get out of your area you are in trouble, for you are going to meet spirits that are stronger.

Remember, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, December 2003, pg. 41-42)

Thought for today: Take your eyes off the things that you can see. As Jesus did not go by the seeing of His eyes or by the hearing of His ears, allow the Lord to train you to look at the real thing.

Scripture reading: 1 Corinthians 6:13-20

We are supposed to be overcomers, and the first thing of all that we have to overcome is inside ourselves. If you do not overcome the man in you, you are not going to be an overcomer of anything else. I do not know if you understand. We have already talked about the sexual urge and the things, the burdens, that God put upon us as natural men. It said that Elijah was a man, a natural man, as we are. Paul said, “I am natural like any one of you. I could lead around a wife” (1 Corinthians 9:5). He had to tell them that, for some of the people were looking up to him as if he was not natural. But you have to overcome the natural man!

How do you learn to overcome the natural man? I can only tell you how God taught me. As a young fellow, I received the Lord. When I say “young,” I mean in my 20’s. The Lord taught me to fast and pray. He taught me to have food to eat, and not eat. To be hungry! To love what I am looking at and smelling, and yet not eat. I think the worst thing for a hungry man is a smell. Oh, it just kills you! Amen! The hunger you have when you are hungry and you smell fresh food (especially things that you like)—it is like a kind of madness that takes you! God wants you to be able to have food and not eat it.

Some of the brothers feel that, “Boy, I need a wife! I need a wife so badly. Oh, you know, I need a wife!” Let me tell you something. The person who hasn’t got a wife has less problem of temptation than those who have a wife, for you have to lie down every night with a wife in the bed and you have to be spiritual. You have to control yourselves, and you have to put your desires and your wants away. So, therefore, you have to learn first by FASTING: To have food and not eat it—HUNGRY! To have water and not drink it—THIRSTY! Yes! I have gone through such thirst that my throat began to split and bleed. My lips would bleed because I was thirsty, there was water and I would not drink it because I was fasting a fast of THIRST!

Now, I am not telling you to do it. Your God must tell you what to do. As a brother shared with us one time, he said, “This is not my body. This is not my property.” His body is the temple of the living God. So if God tells you, “Do not drink water,” then you do not drink water. You see, when Jesus was in the wilderness for forty days, nobody can convince me that He carried a bottle of water with Him.

That was thirst; and thirst can become a kind of madness. When you are thirsty, you have hallucinations; but then that is where I was trained. I was trained at the point where we did not have breakfast, or lunch, or dinner, but we had to go to take the Word of God and preach. Amen! Our children were hungry but they learned not to even say, “I am hungry.” They just played until they fell asleep. We learned how to control the body.

When we came into Miami with $12 in our pocket, ready to do a missionary journey, we did not know anybody, any organization, or anything in America. Nothing! If we had gone to the Salvation Army, that would be a defeat of the faith that we had in God. So we stood and waited until God sent a raven (1 Kings 17:1-6). Oh, yes! But, you know, many would have said, “Get away from me, you dirty raven! I do not want your bread!” Do you think that is what Elijah would have said? Well, a drunken woman came and with all the liquor coming out of her breath fell on the shoulder of my wife, hugged her and said, “Let’s go to Fort Lauderdale.” From a drunken woman, we heard the voice of God. We didn’t say, “Get away from me, you drunkard!” No! But we heard the voice of God speaking through her, and there our missionary journey started.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, December 2003, pg. 39-41)

Thought for today:  God has a way for you to overcome the natural man. Listen to His Voice and hear what He is telling you to do so that you may succeed.

Scripture reading: 1 Timothy 6:12

I am one of those people who do not believe in old age. I do not believe that because I am 80 years of age, my blood shouldn’t flow through my veins like some of yours who are younger. I believe like Caleb, who said, “I am this day 85 years of age and my natural force is not abated. I am ready to go and take the land that God has given me” (see Joshua 14:10-11). I do not believe in feebleness. Praise God! I believe that God keeps us according to our belief and according to our faith, and I do believe that I will die healthy, when I do die. Thank You, Jesus!

I discovered a secret. The secret is that when you come into the house of God, or at home, or in the car, or daily walking around doing your business, if you keep the valve open for God to flow in, the flowing of the Spirit heals the natural body.

One day, I was in Jamaica. I had a pain in my arm. I could not lift my hand above my head. One brother began to preach and said, “I want you all to lift up your hands.” He also said, “If your hand is even paining you, lift it!” So I lifted my hands! I believe that the energy that went into my arm came from the living Word the brother gave and I accepted. It is so simple, and yet so profound. I do not know if we do not believe it, but we certainly do not pay much attention to the fact that the flowing of the energy of God does not only heal the soul, but it also heals the body! For healing cannot come to the body unless it comes through the soul. Praise God!

I would like to take you into a higher spiritual realm today, a little above the normal. You must have heard that I have a name to be a sorcerer, right? The reason is that from when I was a child, I have had spiritual confrontations. As a child I discovered that you do not have to be in God to command the spirits to get away from you. I am saying this and I do not know exactly why, but I know for one thing that God gave man a mandate. God gave us a mandate and the mandate was that Adam should rule everything that moves in this natural realm. We lost it to Satan, but any day you get up and lay hold of it, it is yours! I want you to understand that.

When we think of Apostle Paul, we know that he must have been way, way, way ahead of the church and the other apostles, and anybody else you know. Paul himself received revelations from the Lord, but he could not have personally experienced everything he wrote about. If you watch his life as a Pharisee, and then when he came into God, you notice that he spent 14 years in the desert just fasting and praying and receiving from God. I doubt he understood all the things he received from God, everything that he was saying. I am sure he could not understand them as we understand them now. Do you know why? Because the revelation of Jesus Christ is progressive, and He progressed from the foundation of the apostles and prophets. He gave them the foundation and progressed unto us. Today we have an authority that Paul did not have.

I wonder if I can explain it to you. The authority that we have now is to kill the devil. We have the power now, because it is the end of time and God said that at the end of time He would bring forth a people who would be overcomers. Now, you had better watch well that word “overcomers,” because sometimes it doesn’t mean what we think it means. In other words, it is almost “limitless.” You overcome one thing, and immediately you are faced with another. And the moment you overcome that, you qualify to overcome something else. Some people get tired. Every day—battle, battle, battle! But I love the battle, because it gives me an incentive.

We are supposed to be overcomers, and the first thing of all that we have to overcome is inside ourselves. If you do not overcome the man in you, you are not going to be an overcomer of anything else.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, December 2003, pg. 38-39)

Thought for today: Do not tire of the battles that rise up before you on daily basis. Use it as an incentive to draw closer to God.

Scripture reading: 1 Peter 5:8

In 1 Peter 5:8 we read, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” Satan devours humanity upon the basis of the energy, or the life, or the spiritual force that is in MAN’S BLOOD. The blood is the very essence of our lives, the source of God’s energy. Scripture says that we feed from God, and the blood of man has the life of man, and Satan must feed on life. He cannot get it from God because he cannot go back to God. Neither can devils go to God to feast from God. Therefore, they must take it from us.

When Adam fell, Satan took the kingdom and the authority and the power and the energy from man. The devil seeks blood. The devil lives on blood. This is one of the reasons he encourages people to offer sacrifices to him. We must accept the principle that Satan lives on the blood of human beings because in the blood there is life.

There are other dimensions by which Satan feeds upon humanity, not just by taking his blood and his life. There is a word in the Scripture called diabolos in the Greek. It is translated slanderer, prone to slander, false accuser. It is the very name of Satan and means that people who slander act like little devils. In other words, slanderers have become part of the Satanic kingdom. 1 Timothy 3:11 speaks of the qualifications of the servant of God and says, “Even so must their wives be grave, NOT SLANDERERS, sober, faithful in all things.” Satan feeds (draws life) from the slanderer and from the person who listens to slander. The person who listens to slander is as much a part of the slander as the person who slanders.

2 Timothy 3:1-3, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, FALSE ACCUSERS (little devils), incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.” It means that when a person takes a tale from one person to another and brings discord among the brethren, he is actually allowing Satan to feed upon him. Satan feeds upon him and upon the person who receives the slander. A person is weak when he has finished slandering or listening to slander.

Titus 2:1-3, “But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, NOT FALSE ACCUSERS (the name for Satan, diabolos), not given to much wine, teachers of good things.”

This same word appears in the Old Testament with the same connotation (the same meaning) attached to it. Satan recruits people to work for him like he recruits demons to go from place to place, slandering, carrying tales, carrying evil, a false report, an evil report. Some reports may be true but they are not worthwhile for Christians to receive. We have a mandate and an authority from God to do the work of God. God is in the business of saving people. If we say that a thing is true, therefore, we are supposed to talk about it; this is not right. It is the wrong understanding of what truth is. Christ Jesus is truth and everything that is pertaining to Christ is truth. Any thing else is not truth, it is of the devil.

Let me give you an example. You see a man preaching a word and there are people listening to him and people accepting the Word of God. And because you saw him steal from the store that morning, you go in their midst and stop them from listening to the Word of God saying that the man is a thief. It would be a true thing but it would not be the truth. It would not be glorifying God. What would glorify God would be if you would take the man aside and speak to him about his evil deeds, but not hurt those who are receiving the Word of God from him.

John 8:44, “Ye are of your father, the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” The same word is being used in this verse to call some men who resemble the devil in their mind and in their operation as diabolos.

In 1 John 3:10 the same were called, in the Greek, teknon tu diabolos, children of the devil. We see the word being used for men and women who do the work of the devil. They have joined forces with the enemy and they do great damage in the human realm. When you speak evil of a person you actually send evil forces after that person. You give life to the evil beings that are around who want to hurt that person.

(Excerpt from The Book of Revelation, Volume 1, pg. 195-197)

Thought for today: Brethren, let us not be numbered among those who are weak because they have been slandering or listening to slander.
