Scripture reading: 1 Peter 1:12

God could not allow any human being to go to hell without having rejected Jesus. When you preach to people you must have this consciousness and this understanding. When you preach to a man, he does not have to say, “Yes, I accept Jesus,” at that moment. But you are putting him in a position that between your time with him and his death he is going to meet Jesus face to face and will have to say, “Yes, I accept Him.” Do you know what happens? You, the preacher, come right before him at the moment of his death. The witness that you give to a human being will last with him forever until he reaches the end of life. That witness will come back to him just as powerful as you gave it. This is why we must obey the Spirit. Don’t look for results. What about Brother Noah? He more than likely thought that he had no results. But Noah must have been the greatest evangelist in the entire world. His witness saved millions of people for eternity! We will never know how many until we reach heaven and begin to look up the records. He thought his preaching was in vain, but God said, “Preach!” and he just kept preaching. He visibly saved eight souls and thought, “Well, Lord Jesus, when I get to heaven my crown will only have eight little stars.” Then he was surprised. You also are going to be very surprised. That is why it is so absolutely necessary to remain in the perfect will of God. I will tell you something about that.

You are working with spirits that are working in conjunction with you. There are certain things that you can do but spirits cannot. Spirits cannot preach the gospel. They don’t know as much as you in the gospel. In 1 Peter 1 it says that the angels are inquiring about the message that God is giving you, the Church. He speaks about the prophets having received this great message but having to preach in the dark because they did not know what they were preaching. Yet they were not preaching to the people who lived then, they were preaching to us, who were not yet born. Would you like a job like that? Having to preach to a congregation who isn’t yet born? But this is what is happening.

In 1 Peter 1:12 it says, “Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.”

The things of God are being revealed to the Church. The revelation of the Spirit is to the Church and not to the angels. The worse part about it – or the best part about it – is that we have the Church divided into two. One part of the Church is in the spirit, in the heavenlies with Jesus, and another part of the Church (the militant Church) must meet the devil and fight him face to face on earth as the heavenly people cannot fight the devil.

Thought for today: The witness that you give to a human being will last with him forever until he reaches the end of life and this is why we must obey the Spirit.

Scripture reading: Romans 8:28

Let us look at Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Some of us do not know that all things work together for good. The only difference between those who know and those who don’t know is that those who don’t know grumble when they get hit but those who know rejoice. Every soul has problems sometimes. Some of us have them all the time. But some people know that their problems are deliberately designed by God to lift them into a higher realm. Others don’t know. And that’s the difference between the person who can rejoice over problems or whatever happens in his/her life and the one who cannot rejoice. Whether you do or you don’t know, all things work together for good to you.

Somebody may say, “There is a qualifying phrase here, ‘to them that love God.’” But there is a qualifying phrase to that qualifying phrase, “to them who are the called according to his purpose.” So from the time God called you, even before you were justified, all things began to work together for good to you. You were like the bull, outside of the Tabernacle, when those men threw the rope over him and began to haul him towards the gate of the Tabernacle. You too were hauled to the brazen altar to be born again. All things began to work together for good. There you were cursing and saying, “Oh, I have the worse luck. Why did it have to happen to me?” But God is very much pleased with the progress. Remember, “…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, February 1978)

Thought for today: Let us be among those who know that all things work together for good to us. It will help us to rejoice in our problems, which are designed by God to lift us into a higher realm.

Let Us Pray

Scripture reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:17

The necessity for urgent earnest prayer could never be greater.

In the course of human history there is always a time before great catastrophes when some movement in either one direction or another can make a difference to the majority or to a minority.  In this case and at this time I believe it is too late to save the majority, but God will save the minority, who will in turn save the world from consummation.

If you look at the nations of the world, you will see that there is a fear building up concerning their own capability to destroy and their own importance in controlling these forces.

We have the power to stop the destruction of our world and to preserve the lives of our children, and the Lord is now saying to us that it is time to begin to use this power, through prayer.

Let us pray that the body of Christ will discern the Ministries which God has set in the Church as against those who have been called but run off with their own message. Let us pray that we will cease to drink from springs of “bitter water”.

Let us pray for the ministry. Those who are called and sent of God are fighting an uphill battle on all fronts. They need the urgent and earnest prayers of the Body of Christ.

Let us pray in earnest for those in our midst who are not seeing correctly and are still being influenced by “Partridge” ministries who go about trying to divide and rule.

Let us pray for our brethren in other lands.

Let us lift our hands in prayer for the household of God everywhere, knowing that the time is short and the end is near. We should know that the time of the victory of the Body of Christ is at hand. The scriptures say we would be only given over to the beast, “UNTIL the ancient of days come.”  I encourage you brethren – the Ancient of Days is now coming within us – and the time of our servitude is almost over.

Glory to God!

Thought for today: Let us pray.

Scripture reading: Romans 2:1a

We thank God that He has laid His truth down in His book that everyone can read. It says in Romans 2:1a, “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man….” If you want to find a word for your life, for your marriage, it is right here in this book. If you want to find a word for your children, it is here. If you want to find a word for the stranger, it is here. If you want to find a word for your work place, it is here. You tell me anything that you want to find that you could not find and it here in this book!

And so we are inexcusable. We will be more judged than any other people in the history, because God has seen to it that this Bible be distributed to every quarter, to every place. And when He says that the kingdom message will be preached to all the world, it will be that no one will be able to stand before God and say like Adam said, “The woman you gave me….” There is no excuse! Absolutely none! God has made it possible for everyone.

I notice that even the little children are responding to the Word. They raise their hands as you speak about Jesus. A light comes into their eyes! You watch it, even the little children are responding! God is doing a work, God is stirring His people, and God is going to use us—if we submit to Him!

Another thing that God has been speaking to me about is that the Church is going to be responsible before God for the respect or disrespect that the younger people show to the older people. The Church is going to be responsible before God, and so, mothers, fathers, watch how you teach your little children respect and love one for another, especially for the older.

So we must be careful how we handle the things of God, the things that God has made available to us. How we treat it and how we behave one to another.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, July 2000)

Thought for today: Everything we need the word for is found in the Bible. So let us be faithful in how we handle the things of God for we won’t be able to make any excuse before Him.

Scripture reading: Ephesians 4:17-32

Ephesians 4 seems to be a chapter we should read every day, because it tells us about the Church and our position in the Body of Christ. Let us read from this chapter, starting with Verse 17 and going down to the end of it:

“This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:” (Now, not the blindness of their eyes, but the blindness of their heart.) “Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;” (Now, here is our qualification: “Putting off the former conversation, because they were born of deceitful lusts.”)And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

He is speaking to us as the Church. It is to the “called out” ones! It is where we are supposed to be! It is what we are supposed to be exercised in! It is what we are supposed to be walking in, day after day!

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:”

This is not giving license to anger. I don’t know, I have often thought of it—how can a person be angry and not sin? Because anger is a fruit of the flesh! Anyway, it says, “be ye angry and sin not….” Do not give way to the spirit of anger that comes upon you, but rather rebuke it.

“Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let ALL bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

“Forgive us our sins [trespasses] as we forgive those who sin [trespass] against us.” (Luke 11:4)

I saw a vision one time in a meeting of two people standing – one on one side of a room and another on the other side. And there was something between them for which they could not come together. I knew that it was a situation that existed among us. Therefore if there is one person in the building, or in the group, or among your family, that you cannot freely from your heart greet and meet with that feeling of love and oneness, make it right! Make it right! Because unless it is made right, it says in the Word that there is blindness in your heart.

Keep the channels clear. Husbands and wives, keep the channels clear. If you do not keep the channels clear, your whole family suffers. Your whole life is in trouble. Keep the channels clear that God might bless you, your family, and the Church!

Whatever happens at home, the Church is affected by it; and that is why God gives certain qualifications for elders in the Word. I believe the elders should read the qualifications in their home—constantly—that they might be reminded of the responsibility they have before the Lord and not just come to church and be called an elder. It is a great responsibility. There is a great responsibility as a husband and a father, and unless there is that freedom and oneness and truthfulness one to another, then your light is dulled and your life is no longer a shining star that will give light and life.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, July 2000)

Thought for today: Let us keep our channels clear and let there be freedom and oneness and truthfulness one to another so that our lives may be a shining star that gives light and life.
