Scripture reading: II Thessalonians 2:1-10

God is bringing forth an army and this army is going to face some things that the men of old did not face. Paul said in I Corinthians 15:32 that he fought “with beasts at Ephesus…after the manner (similitude) of men.” Paul, however, never faced some of the things and the kind and the quality of man beasts that we are going to have to face in our time and in this end of the age. God put it in the Word that it is at the end of the age that “the beast” is formed.  It is “THE” beast, not “a” beast. Not “one of” the beasts, but the epitome of all the beasts—the beast of beasts. The “666” is going to be formed before you come forth in Christ. That means we have to face him before we get the deliverance. We are asking God, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done…” in this earth, Lord God, “…as it is in heaven.” We are going to have to face the beast before we get that deliverance!

Now what are we talking about? We are talking about “666”—the fullness of man—all that man can be. This will be the greatest man that ever walked the face of the earth. This will be the man that is scientifically wise. That is, he will be physically, mentally, and psychologically wise; powerful, and strong. This man that is being created is the man who will have the fullness of all that man can be. This is the man we face.

We are facing this man in the people and in the very minds of the children. The government now is fighting for the minds of the children. If they can, they are going to make laws to get your children. Homeschooling is a bother to the government and to the plans of the One World Government. Soon there will be no homeschooling. Soon they will take your children from you and teach them what they must know and your children will have such scientific knowledge that they will be so high above you that you will not be even able to cope with what they teach them. Look at what the kids can do with computers. When you were kids, you did not know anything about that, but the thing is coming to a head. Therefore, God told me some secrets concerning the man He wants us to be, in order to be able to combat the “man of sin” (Ref. II Thessalonians 2:3-4) and to combat everything that is coming forth in the world to overtake and overcome us.

They do not believe they are going to be overcome by us. They believe they are going to overcome us! We, therefore, must know that we were born to be the dwelling place of God! We were born to be the home of the Spirit of God. We must know that no man can cope with a man who is filled with the Spirit. A man who is filled with the Spirit is absolutely not even man. He is beyond man! He will perceive what man cannot perceive. He will rise to any occasion.

We think of Daniel. They were going to kill him, because the order went out to kill all the wise men (the magicians and soothsayers) and they had classified Daniel among these. They said, “Kill them!” The man who was to kill him came to him to tell him what his fate was. Daniel said, “Tell the king not to be so hasty, but to give me a little time.” Daniel believed in his God. I want you to hear what Daniel said. He said, “Give me a little time and I will tell him what his dream was.” Daniel had no doubt that his God was going to tell him so he went down into prayer and fasting and God came to him in the night and told him and showed him the dream of Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel was immediately exalted above humans. He was exalted above the scientists. He was exalted above the great soothsayers.

Did I talk about different guns? Different weapons of warfare? Different men who handle different weapons? If tanks are coming against you, do you grab your rifle and shoot the tanks? No! You had better get out of the way and get something heavier. You had better get somebody who handles a heavier thing like a bazooka or something similar to it in order to hit those tanks. You do not stand up and shoot a tank with your little gun. This is the reason why God is telling us now the secrets of how to get our guns to be bigger and how to fight the warfare that He is preparing for us.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, January 1997, pg. 4-6)

Thought for today: We cannot fight our enemy in these last days with the small weapons we have been using so far. Let us go before God and have Him increase the power of our guns so that we will overcome the enemy and not be overcome by him.

Scripture reading: 1 Kings 19:1-12

Today I want to speak to you a word that pertains to our ability to be focused upon God. Everything around us is designed to distract us, to turn us aside, to get interested in this, to get interested in that. Some people have a hobby and that hobby becomes more important to them than God. Even during meeting times, some people are pursuing their hobbies instead of seeking God. One of the great tools in Satan’s arsenal is distraction. I want to talk to you a little bit about this distraction. When you turn to 1 Kings 19, you will see that this portion of scripture comes just after the great victory that Elijah had over the priests of Baal. But it also reveals that this was a low point in Elijah’s life, when he, after his great victory, was still afraid of Jezebel. It is difficult to understand, but I think that we are able to relate, being as we have some of that problem, too. Many of us feel that we are the only thing that God has here. What a poor God it would be if we were all that God had! The fact that you feel that you are a true Christian, the fact that you feel that you are 100% for God, should indeed be proof to you that there are others like you. What I am saying is that if you believe that you hear God, that in itself should indeed be proof to you that others are hearing God, also.

Of course, we are reading about Elijah, a man who did not know Jesus. Elijah knew God, but he didn’t know Jesus. Isn’t that something? Elijah did not have what we have – the living God moving through and through our being. You know, I sit in a meeting, I hear the singing and I can see God just seeping into us. We open our mouths to sing and the breath of God is breathed into our very beings. Hallelujah. This is proof of God. Hallelujah. So, here is Elijah talking to God saying, “I’ve been jealous, Oh God, and I have been a wonderful fellow and You lost everybody else besides me.” What a wretched thought. What an awful thought. “Everybody else is gone, everybody else is dead, nobody else is serving God, nobody else has the message. I alone, Oh God, am the only one that is left and all You have to depend on is me.” Do you see how preposterous it is for us to think that way? God is providing, preparing an army. We are just a little speck of it. Amen! We must realize that without the rest of this army, we are nothing, we are finished! Don’t you understand? God is preparing a first-fruits company, an Elijah company, I could call it thirty other names company, to save the rest of the church. Our duty is to be servants to the rest of the church! It is like you have a mouth, and the mouth takes in some honey, and the mouth says, “I love this honey, this honey is so sweet, I’m going to keep it for myself,” and the mouth decides to hold on to it, “I am not swallowing it, I am not giving it to any other part of the body, I am just keeping it for myself!” That mouth would soon be useless.  We must realize that without the rest of the Body, we are nothing. We should be grateful, thankful to God that we are privileged to be a part of this magnificent thing that God is doing in the earth today. Amen.

So here is poor brother, Elijah, in a very low, low part of his life. He says in 1 Kings 19:10-11, “I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. 11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind.” What happened? In the midst of the manifestation of God, the devil was right there. Because if God was not in the wind, who was in the wind? Have you noticed it? I mean, if you were not keen, you would not notice that passage, that God did pass by. But then, before God, rushed the devil breaking up rocks and carrying on. I am telling you, without the discernment of God, you and I would say, “God did it. It was God that did that. It was God.” God was not there.

Now, let’s read a little more. “…and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake.” We are talking about manifestations now. Manifestations. Some of the manifestations that we see are not God. God did come, God did do something, God did speak, but that one wasn’t God. Verse 12, “And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.” Who must recognize it? Who must discern it? Do you see the problem we have? The onus, the responsibility, is on you to discern who is doing what and when. If you do not know who is doing it, you are in trouble, but why did God put such an awful responsibility upon us as Christians? I can tell you why. It is because inside of you, you have God. The Spirit of the living God in you must make contact with the spirit of whatever is doing that. You must be able to say, “This is God, but that is not God.” Right in the meetings! Right in the middle of your meetings you see God working and you see another spirit working. The other spirit is always trying to distract.

Satan always brings in a distraction. In your lives, you have to look out for that. But then, the still, small voice came. You know, you have that voice inside you. For Elijah, it was out there. He was hearing with his ears. You don’t have to hear God with your ears any more for the God in you will give you that strong, still, small voice that quickens you inside.

(Excerpt from Keeping in Touch, December 12, 2004)

Thought for today: You don’t have to hear God with your ears any more for the God in you will give you that strong, still, small voice that quickens you inside.

Scripture reading: Revelation 19:11-14

Let us go to Daniel’s prophecy in Daniel 12:1 and 2, “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” This prophecy tells us that there is going to be a resurrection, and this resurrected army will be with Jesus.

Daniel tells us of the end of the matter when the antichrist will be defeated and who it is that is going to reign and rule. There will be no doubt after we read this. Daniel 7:25-27, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”

I want you to notice that he talks about “the people of the saints of the most High,” and then he talks about “him.” This “him” simply means that they will be one in Christ and Christ will be one in them. This will be a one-man company. It is as if you start a conversation with one saint and finish it up with another saint. They would be on the same wave length saying the same thing: one people, one mind.

At this time, “Christ in us” (the church) will not just be “the hope of glory,” but it will be “the glory.” The glory which Jesus Christ asked the Father for in the 17th chapter and the 5th verse of John’s gospel He gave to the church in verse 22. “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given THEM; that they may be one, even as we are one.” Now this is the glory come home to the church. This is what we are seeing in Revelation 19:14 – the church and Christ. Christ in the church functioning as God in the earth. The church in Christ – absolutely, permanently, completely absorbed, made one. Therefore, humanity will be put aside completely forever, and divinity (the gold alone) will show.

The earth will see “The Word of God” in human flesh walking to and fro. If this is not accomplished then Jesus’ death on the cross would not have accomplished fully what God had intended – that we should become like Him and that God should have other sons on earth that “should be like him.” Romans 8:29, “He (was) the firstborn among many brethren.” John 17:22, “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.Verse 21 shows the oneness and verse 22 shows the glory that will be the oneness.

Revelation 6 is a summary chapter. Verses 10 and 11, “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” We see a special group of martyrs in the heavenlies (verse 10) and they are crying to the Lord asking when the judgment will be on the earth. “And white robes were given unto every one of them.”

In Revelation 19:14 we read that “the armies” were “upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.” A white-robed throng is coming. What are they coming for? They are coming to judge and to rule the earth. The “white horses” and the “white robes” are related to judgment. The moment one student in a class gets the lesson and passes the exam, it is a judgment against all the other students who heard the teacher teach the lesson. Here we are. The judgment of the world is the “white robes” that the children of God receive who have attained excellence in God.

Thought for today: Let us press for the glory that we be part of the resurrected army of Christ.
