Omega Message – January 1997

(The following is a message given by Cecil duCille at the July 1996 Illinois Convention.)
Praise God. Yes, we have spent a full life for God. From when we were in our twenties we have been on the road for God and we have spent a full life for God. We have made our share of mistakes, too—a lot of mistakes. It is so easy to make mistakes in the human realm. It is so easy to get someone upset when you had no intention to. God bless you brethren, that you do not get easily upset. Amen! We had to be on our P’s and Q’s in order not to upset people. They did not understand some of the ways we had, and we were amazed at some of the ways you had. Amen. Hallelujah. So we continued, and it is like twenty-seven years now that we have been in the United States continuing on with the Gospel that Jesus gave us.
Now I know that anyone who does not function in the Body of Christ ministry is going to make some severe mistakes, and his mistakes are not going to be corrected. They are going to grow and grow; and as you grow, the mistakes will grow. So a man will be coming on with a big baggage of mistakes on him, and he will be as big as the mistakes; and he will never get over them. Sometimes, God has to call His servants home because they have no more hope, for they will not get away from their errors.
Now remember, it is human to err, and it is divine to forgive. Though it is human to err, you do not have to err, and if you make an error there are several ways of getting the error fixed. I am determined not to walk with error. So I began to tell the Body to pick me to pieces. I want you to pick up my errors. Anywhere you see an error, pick it up, and when you do not pick it up I feel that I have none. Amen. Whenever you do not correct me, I feel that I am all right. So I have been getting a few corrections these days, and I want to correct every one of them. I do not want to be wrong. I want to be perfect. Did you know that? I want to be perfect, but, Brethren, our only hope of walking this walk with God is to walk in the Body of Christ. Amen!
For forty-odd years I have been preaching this gospel, and I have seen many men fall. Mighty men! I mean, men who I could not walk in their shoes because of the power of God that they walk in, and they fell. It bothered me, and I said, “My God, why should so and so fall? If he has such a high walk? He is walking in such power of faith—Why should He fall? Why should he fall?”
If You Walk Alone You Are A Dead Man
I found out a secret. The secret is the simple one that I just told you, that if you walk alone you are a dead man. There are none of us who can survive by going alone. If you have a revelation and you say, “This is my revelation and no man is going to take it away from me; I am going with my revelation,” then you are a loser! You are a loser before you begin to fight, because the devil knows that and he is going to put a little kink in your revelation. It is a good revelation, a beautiful revelation, but there is a little kink; and that little kink will grow and it will grow; and it will grow like a seed in the concrete, and it will bust the whole thing open! Hallelujah!
A Man Who Is Deceived Does Not Know He Is Deceived
There is another thing I learned. A man who is deceived does not know he is deceived. If he knows he is deceived then he is not deceived! If I know that I am deceived, then I am not really deceived, because I know I am deceived. To be deceived means that you do not know. “Deceived” means that you think you are right, when you are wrong. You think you are strong, when you are weak. You think you are able, when you are not able. So, before God, let us humble ourselves and walk softly. Amen!
When you get a word from God, and you think it is a big word, go very softly, because there is always a word against your word. Let me repeat that. For every word of God that you get there is a word against that word; so that, if you do not handle it right, you will be defeated with the word of God in your hand.
God has been speaking to me this past month and a half or so since we came back from India, and tonight I want to give you a revelation that God has given to me. Now, Brethren, you know how we have walked through many dark places and we have overcome many evil spirits, but what you do not know is that we had been trained by God step-by-step over these years, on how to build a foundation in order to be able to stand in the storm. I will explain it to you. Let us read the Word first. I am going to speak to you about “The Weapons Of Our Warfare.” Let us look first at 2 Corinthians 10:4. We read for context from Verse 2,
“But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith that I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. FOR THOUGH WE WALK IN THE FLESH WE DO NOT WAR AFTER THE FLESH. FOR THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT CARNAL, BUT MIGHTY THROUGH GOD TO THE PULLING DOWN OF STRONGHOLDS; CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS, AND EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTETH ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, AND BRINGING INTO CAPTIVITY EVERY THOUGHT TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST.”
We Are Talking About Weapons
We Are Talking About the Body of Christ
We are talking about weapons. Now, every man who goes to war must be equipped with weaponry, and he must be practiced in handling his weapons, or else he has no right in a war. There are different types of weapons and there are different types of people who use the different types of weapons. In war you have men who fire the big guns and men who fire the small guns, and men who use explosives. Each man has his particular department wherein he is an expert. When you want explosives, you do not go fooling around putting explosives together. You call in the group of men who are used to handling explosives. We are talking about the Body of Christ. You do not go to war without all the people and the equipment you need. You do not go to war without the explosives man, without the gunners, without the bombardiers, without the airplanes and the pilots that fly the planes, without the ships—All these are absolutely necessary in a war. So what is happening is that no one man is going to handle all that equipment. Amen? Hallelujah! Therefore God is calling a body of people together, and in order to survive and to overcome this body of people must recognize one another. Amen. When there is a situation where I need bombardment, I must call in the gunners. I must call them in and give them the coordinates of where to drop those shells, because that is where the enemy will be hurt the most. Therefore I must know what kind of a battle it is and I must have a knowledge of my own capabilities.
One time we were going to pray for a woman. The woman was demon-possessed. We were walking through the bush going towards this place. Now, because God said that the woman would be healed, one of the young brothers ran though a shortcut to run ahead and to get the glory. He wanted the glory of saying that he laid hands on her and she was healed. However, when we got there the young man was crippled. One side of him was dead. He went and laid hands on the woman and that demon got hold of him. Though we cried to God, we were never able to deliver him, until he died some years after. Amen.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty….” If they are so mighty, why is it that so many of us are being chewed up by the enemy? Why are so many of us being knocked down, or being hurt, or being destroyed by the enemy? Why is it that so many of us cannot see where we are now in time? Why is it that so many of us cannot perceive the goodness of God and see what God is doing at this hour? How come, if our weapons are so powerful, so many of us are going to miss it? Amen!
OUR WEAPONS ARE ONLY POWERFUL WHEN WE BELIEVE IN THEM. Yes! You have to trust that man in the bomber to come and drop the bombs in the right places. You have to trust the man who is firing the missiles over your head. You have to trust him that he is going to fire over your head and hit the enemy. Amen. You have to trust the other men. Your life is in the hands of all the others and their lives are in your hands.
Now, God is bringing forth an army, and you are going to face some things that the men of old did not face. Paul said (in 1 Corinthians 15:32) that he fought “with beasts at Ephesus…after the manner (similitude) of men.” Paul, however, never faced some of the things, and the kind and the quality of man beasts that we are going to have to face in our time and in this end of the age. Hallelujah. God put it in the Word that it is at the end of the age that “the beast” is formed (“THE” beast, not “a” beast.). Not “one of” the beasts, but the epitome of all the beasts—the beast of beasts. The “666” is going to be formed before you come forth in Christ. Amen. That means we have to face him before we get the deliverance. We are asking God, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done…” in this earth, Lord God, “…as it is in heaven.” We are going to have to face the beast before we get that deliverance! Amen!
“666” – The Fullness of Man
Now what are we talking about? We are talking about “666”—The fullness of man—All that man can be. This will be the greatest man that ever walked the face of the earth. This will be the man that is scientifically wise. Do you understand me? That is, he will be physically, mentally, and psychologically wise; powerful, and strong. This man that is being created is the man who will have the fullness of all that man can be. This is the man we face.
We are facing this man in the people, and in the very minds of the children. The government now is fighting for the minds of the children. If they can, they are going to make laws to get your children. Home schooling is a bother to the government and to the plans of the One World Government. Soon there will be no home schooling. Soon they will take your children from you and teach them what they must know, and your children will have such scientific knowledge that they will be so high above you that you will not be even able to cope with what they teach these kids. Look at what the kids can do with computers. Look at what the kids can do now. When you were kids, you did not know anything about that, but the thing is coming to a head. Therefore God told me some secrets concerning the man He wants us to be, in order to be able to combat the “man of sin” (Ref. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) and to combat everything that is coming forth in the world to overtake and overcome us.
They do not believe they are going to be overcome by us. They believe they are going to overcome us! We, therefore, must know that we were born to be the dwelling place of God! We were born to be the home of the Spirit of God. We must know that no man can cope with a man who is filled with the Spirit. A man who is filled with the Spirit is absolutely not even man. He is beyond man! He will perceive what man cannot perceive. Hallelujah! He will rise to any occasion.
Daniel Believed in His God
We think of Daniel. They were going to kill him, because the order went out to kill all the wise men (the magicians and soothsayers) and they had classified Daniel among these. They said, “Kill them!” The man who was to kill him came to him to tell him what was his fate. Daniel said, “Tell the king not to be so hasty, but to give me a little time.” Daniel believed in his God. I want you to hear what Daniel said. He said, “Give me a little time and I will tell him what his dream was.” Daniel had no doubt that his God was going to tell him, so he went down into prayer and fasting, and God came to Daniel in the night and told him and He showed him the dream of Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel was immediately exalted above humans. He was exalted above the scientists. He was exalted above the great soothsayers. Hallelujah!
What a Sorcerer Really Is
I am sure none of you here know what a sorcerer really is. You do not really know about this kind of thing. I knew a man who you could go before, and he would say, “Do not tell me anything. Do not tell me who you are,” and he would proceed to say, “You are so and so. You are from such and such a place. Your house in Schuyler (Nebraska) is situated on such and such a street, and at such and such a number,” and he would go on to describe every detail about your house. Amen?
In this one case that I am thinking of here, he told the man, “Now I know what you want. You are here because somebody stole your property, and you want to know if you can get back your property. Your property is partially used up, but some of it is left.” When the offer is made to pay him, he says, “No, no. You do not have enough money in your pocket to pay me. You go home and look behind your house and you will see the part of the grain that is left. Now, you take it to the shop right above your home and sell it. You will get this amount of money for it. Now, you put down this much for me on your table. I will come for it.”
Now, some of you would say, “Oh boy! That is a mighty man of God! He prophesied down to the details.” No! The man had demons working with him! He had demons that told him everything before you got there. The demons told him that they were leading you there. They told him everything and he knows everything about you. Amen.
There came, however, the time when this particular sorcerer challenged God. Do you know what he did? He touched a Christian. One night we were having our meeting in a house by the road and a car drove up. Out came two men lifting a woman roped from her head down to her feet. They lifted her like a sack, and came and put her right down before me while I was preaching. I said to them, “Loose her!” The man took one look at me and ran off through the door. (It had taken several men to tie the woman and to bring her to me.) Well, I bent down and started to pull the rope from her feet. Coming up, I pulled the rope off her feet and on up to her shoulders. I said to her, “In the Name of Jesus, you are healed,” and she said, “Thank you, Brother duCille.” She picked up her rope and she went home. Now this great sorcerer had touched a Christian. Now you wonder, if the weapons of our warfare are so mighty, how could this man be mightier than a whole church of Christians? Amen?
Different Guns
Did I talk about different guns? Different weapons of warfare? Different men who handle different weapons? If tanks are coming against you, do you grab your rifle and shoot the tanks? No! You had better get out of the way and get something heavier. You had better get somebody who handles a heavier thing like a bazooka or something else to hit those tanks. You do not stand up and shoot a tank with your little gun. This is the reason that God is telling us now the secrets of how to get our guns to be bigger, and how to fight the warfare that He is preparing for us.
Now, as I said, I went to India recently, and India is a place where they worship devils. The majority of Non-Christians worship devils. I mean, the government encourages devil worship. They put a god out in the middle of the square, and you see them praying to this god. They put down their offering and they bow, making obeisance to wood and stone. There is one god, that when you see all the gods of India, he is always at the top. He is always on top of all the other gods. He is an ugly thing, which, unfortunately, I see is in your comic books; and the children are reading it and are enjoying the comics, not knowing that it is a god of India. This is the god with the two big eyes and a mouth with sharp teeth. This god is called Kali, the head of all the gods. The worshippers of Kali drink blood.
It happened when we were in India that the people were worshipping Kali just down the street from where we were, and one of the brethren saw in a vision that they were drinking goat’s blood, and they were saying to Kali, “We are offering you goat’s blood today, but tomorrow we are going to give you some human blood—some American blood.” The Spirit of God moved upon me and God told me, “Do not wait for those people to attack you any more. You attack them!” Amen!
Matthew 16:16 & 18
You know, the Bible (in Matthew 16:16) records that when Peter said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God,” that Jesus answered him and said, “Blessed art thou…for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” It says that Jesus went on to say in Verse 18,
“…I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
What He said here is very peculiar, for He did not say the “armies of hell,” but He said the “gates” of hell. You do not attack people with your gate. You do not, unless you are in a defensive position and the people are attacking your gate. Amen! What Jesus actually said was that when the Christians move to attack, hell’s gates will not stand! Amen!
We saw the example of it with Samson, as Brother Mark talked about the story of Samson. We read in Judges 16 that Samson got up at midnight, and there were men behind the wall waiting for him. Amen. They were waiting to jump him as he came through the gate, but by the time he got to the gate, the Spirit of God fell on him and he rushed upon the gate and took it off. It was nothing short of an earthquake for the men who were behind the gate. The man shook the whole thing, pulled it backwards and pulled it out at the roots.
He was not that tall. You might be thinking that Samson was a man-mountain and that he lifted up the gate off its hinges. No! No! He pulled the gate out at the root, going backwards, and the men who were lying in ambush behind the wall fled for their lives.
Now Samson, in that section of the story, is a type of the Body of Christ that will rise at midnight out of the harlot’s house, out of the place of spiritual harlotry! Out of the place of mixture! Mixture! Mixing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the works of the devil. Mixing it with the words of the devil: half right/half wrong! Three-quarters right/one quarter wrong! You know what I am saying! God is going to redeem us from the harlot’s house, by the Spirit of God falling on the Church at midnight.
It is Not an Overnight Action
I will tell you the secret. You cannot, overnight, get up and get the power of God to bring down the kingdom of the devil. Do you hear me? You cannot overnight just get up and say, “I am going to bring down the kingdom of Satan.” God did say you are going to bring it down, but it is not an overnight action. To understand what God is saying, look at when you take a gun. Let us say you take a nine-millimeter gun, and you fire it. What happens inside of that gun? The first thing that gets the shock is the gun! Amen. The gun gets the shock (the recoil) of the bullet before the bullet can go forward to hit the enemy. If you do not have the fortitude in you, then how do you expect to overcome a devil with your words? Amen.
Examples
I will give you some examples in my own life. You know that I am always telling stories. One night I had a vision that I was standing up and waiting because I knew a great demon was coming to attack me. I stood up there until I heard the thing. He was deliberately making noise so that I could hear him coming. When I looked, I saw four people standing like soldiers at attention beside me. When the demon came I rose up to rebuke him in the Name of Jesus, and “Ahhh….” Nothing could come out of my mouth. I tried to rebuke him again and I could not talk. I was held by a power that stopped me.
At that point, one of the men that stood beside me stepped right before me and placed his hand between my mouth and the spirit. The moment he did that, I said to the demon, “I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus!” When I rebuked him, he stopped and began to pack up his things, and he said, “All right. Since you say, ‘In the Name of Jesus,’ I will go.”
Now what did I learn? I learned that the devil that had stopped me from speaking had a power that he was beaming on me from himself. There was a negative power, and my positive power was not strong enough to overcome him. I got help, however, for he just blocked the thing from coming to me and I exploded! Do you understand what I am saying, Brethren? We will get help from God, but God wants us to be in a position to fight back. In other words, the first weapon of our warfare is the WORD. Jesus Christ said,
First Weapon is the Word
“The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life!” (John 6:63).
Amen. You speak a spirit into life. In Mark 5:8, Jesus said, “Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit,” and a spirit came out from Jesus and drove the devil out of him, and it says that the man was “…clothed, and in his right mind.” Amen. Now if Jesus did not have the necessary force in Him to issue this power out of him, then nothing would happen; but when He spoke the Word, the Word came with force of Spirit—Spirit force! Spirit was created and came out; and did the job! Now what gave Jesus that power? The power came from the Father. The power came through the Father, through Jesus’ spirit, through His soul, through His body.
I always liked to go out hunting, but I could never shoot the poor little birds. I would go out with the gun, and catch myself just admiring the birds and not shooting. One day I made up my mind that I am going to shoot this time, because I just cannot go home without getting something. So I saw some doves out there and I crept on my belly with the gun. I crept on my belly with the gun, and made my aim. When I fired, the gun went, “Psshh!” (Just a big puff of smoke), and the bird just looked at me and took off.
What do you think happened? You can see that I never learned to crawl with a gun. Crawling, I got the muzzle full of dirt, and when I fired it was just a “Psshh!” SOME OF OUR MUZZLES ARE FULL OF DIRT. THIS IS WHY WE CANNOT SHOOT THE ENEMY! THE HINDRANCE IS IN THE SOUL! Oh God, help us! Amen!
Hindrances
IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST SOMEONE, IT IS A HINDRANCE TO YOUR SOUL! Wife and husband, try your best not to go to bed with anything against each other. You must clear up anything that is wrong. If you have a thought that is not right on the level, then get it cleared up. You thought your wife tricked you; you thought she said something that was not right. Get it cleared up before you go to bed! The reason is that your muzzle will be full of dirt. You will not be able to fight.
God wants your word to be so powerful that the energy that comes out of you will break the backs of the enemies! The first thing the devil does is to try to get one brother against another, or one sister against another. Somebody says something; they did not mean anything harmful, but it was repeated to that one, and it got over to that one, and it got bigger, and bigger, and bigger—until a mountain comes between you! Brethren, let us get wise! Matured people do not allow it. If you hear that your brother said something against you, then ask him, “Why did you say so and so against me? I heard that you said so and so against me.” He replies, “Who told you that?” “Oh, it was John that told me so.” You tell him who it is that told you. Do you know what that does? Nobody is going to tell you anything anymore, unless they want you to fix it, because you are not going to hide them. You are going to say, “It was John that told me so.” Do you understand?
So, going to the one who you heard has spoken against you, you keep yourself clean! Whether the other person wants to have something against you or not, you clear yourself! “I have nothing against you. I have no bad feelings. I never said a wrong thought against you,” or “I did say one wrong thought against you, for which I am sorry.” Amen.
Have you ever heard about something we call “The trap of fools”? Let me tell you about the trap of fools. It is like this. I come to you and I say, “Brother, that brother said that you have a bald head,” and you say, “But how could that brother say I have a bald head? Look at his head! Doesn’t he know that in a few years time he will be bald like I am?” So I leave you and I go to the other brother. I say, “Hey buddy, watch that brother over there. He said that you are soon going to be bald.”
Now the brother does not know what caused you to say that and he says, “But why should he say that? Look at him! Look at him!” So he gets mad over you and really upset, and then he says something against you! And the person comes back and says, “Brother, Pete is against you. Watch yourself with Pete because Pete said that you cannot even walk straight,” and so on. You know what I mean.
This is the work of a demon, but some people do it! Some people do the work of demons, and this is what is called “The trap of fools.” The first thing when something like this happens to you, obey the Word of God and go to the brother, and say, “Why did you say that I would soon be bald?” Then when he explains it to you and you realize why it was said, then forgive the brother and stop the trap of fools. It is a trap that is set for anybody who is naive!
Now for every word that God has given you, there is a word that the devil gives to stop it. Consider why you do not function according to the Word of God as you ought to. The reason is that the devil always gives a counter word, which disturbs the faith that you should have in the Word of God.
Now the Word that God gives you is spirit and life, and that spirit and life must come through you to work power and deliverance out there. Spirit and life! Power and deliverance! Every Word of God is powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, bringing down the kingdoms of the devil and the imaginations of man. This is the power of the Word of God! Now if you allow the other word to counteract you, then you have allowed a barrier to stop the Word of God from going through you. Therefore, your first weapon is “…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ref. Ephesians 6:17).
Gideon & the Midianites
Let me tell you a little story. Gideon went out to fight the Midianites, because God told him, “You are a ‘mighty man of valor’—you can do it” (Judges 6:12). Gideon did not believe he was any man of valor (his knees were knocking), but God said, “…thou mighty man of valor.” So he went and called up all his men. Thirty thousand men came to follow him, and yet, he was so afraid. Remember now, God gives you a word (“You go out there and fight!”) but the devil brings fear upon you, so that you are so afraid that God has to give you another word just to bolster you.
We see this when God sent Gideon down to listen to what the Midianites were saying (Judges 7:9-15). God gave one of the Midianites a dream, and Gideon overheard the man telling another man his dream of how this little barley cake rolled down off the hill and smashed their tent. When he heard that, the man said, “You know who that barley cake is? It is Gideon. It is that Gideon!” Hallelujah!
In other words, God had to set a trap to make Gideon believe. BRETHREN, IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE GOD, WHO ARE YOU GOING TO BELIEVE? IF YOU BELIEVE GOD, NO POWER ON EARTH CAN STOP YOU—BECAUSE FAITH CREATES THE SPIRIT OF POWER!
Faith
One day, Sister Mavis and I and another brother (Brother Sydney; a big, giant brother) walked 15 miles over the mountains into a place called Mayfield in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. We went there to pray for a sick man. We were to have a meeting that night and were late for service, so we were just running, and when we got over the hill we saw a great crowd in the yard. We did not inquire what the crowd was doing there. We just ran through the crowd and asked in the house, “Where is the man?” A woman said, “He is in that little room there.” We went into the room and saw the man stretched out, and covered with a white sheet from his head to his feet. We came to pray for a sick man, so we thought he might have been cold. (He was really cold.)
We literally jumped on him. I wish we could see some of you young people having that kind of energy for God! I am distressed to see wishy-washy young people. Young people must act young! Do not act like an old person—coming in like “Old Black Joe.” Act like you have energy and life from God! Hallelujah!
We rushed into that place and laid hands on that sheet, and commanded him in the Name of Jesus to rise up! We raised such a racket that the devil was afraid. The man suddenly bolted upright in bed. He had these big brown eyes—I will never forget it! He started looking. He was looking around, wondering where he was and what world he was in. When we saw that man sit up, we knew that he was healed. We just started to praise God! Brother Sydney weighed 250 pounds; his hands were so long that they went below his knees. When he started to jump the whole house shook. He wears size 16 shoes. Amen. When he jumped and shouted the windows in the place rattled!
The healed man signaled to us and we said, “What is it?” He said, “Get me something to eat,” and so we went outside to get him something to eat. The woman said, “What? Who? Who is going to eat?” She rushed in, and then she ran outside screaming; and I mean, people just started running! WE HAD RAISED A DEAD MAN! We looked and saw his grave dug in the backyard, and she showed us the death certificate. We were late for the meeting, so we ran right out of there and left them with the excitement.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1).
When you feel the faith of God, it lifts you off the floor and energizes your body and your soul, and you know you have won. Amen!
So, of all our escapades, that was one of the bright lights in our ministry—that we did not know the man was dead. Now, to my shame, I have to tell you that if I had known he was dead I would not have prayed for him. If we knew that he was dead we would not have had the faith to pray for him, but God created this thing to teach us.
It is the amount of God’s energy and power that you will allow to flow through you. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:32,
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
It is saying, “Forgive one another…for Christ’s sake.” Why does it say, “…for Christ’s sake”? IT IS BECAUSE CHRIST CAN NOT MOVE THROUGH YOU IF YOU HAVE UNFORGIVENESS IN YOU. UNFORGIVENESS BLOCKS THE FLOW OF THE POWER OF CHRIST.
In Luke 8, the woman came and she grabbed the hem of Jesus’ garment, and He said, “Hey! Energy came out of Me.” Yes! He said, “I feel virtue (“dunamis” in the Greek; power) drawn out of Me.” Do you understand? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE RAW POWER OF GOD. IT CAN ONLY WORK THROUGH YOU IF YOUR PASSAGES ARE CLEAN. Without this, you can speak the word of God from now until next year at this time, and not a straw will move! It says in Acts 19 that the sons of Sceva tried to help a man who needed deliverance, and they said, “In the Name of Jesus I rebuke you.” It says that the demons jumped on them and tore them, and they fled naked. Paul said, “I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus,” and it says (in Acts 13:11) that (the sorcerer Elymas) went blind “immediately.” The deaf heard! The sick were healed! Immediately! It was because Paul had kept his gun clean.
Second Weapon is the Blood
The next weapon I am going to deal with is the weapon called the BLOOD. Now, I will tell you the truth and I confess to you that I did not know that the blood was a weapon. Amen. I knew, “The blood that cleanses me from day to day shall never lose its power,” but I did not know that I had the greatest weapon in the arsenal of God. IN ORDER TO OPERATE THE BLOOD WEAPON EFFECTIVELY, YOU MUST HAVE THIS THING BUILT IN YOU. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE BLOOD PASSAGES FROM THE BIBLE AND YOU HAVE TO READ THEM. YOU HAVE TO MEMORIZE THEM; GET THEM IN YOUR HEART; GET THEM IN YOUR MIND. YOU HAVE TO GET THEM, SO THAT UNCONSCIOUSLY THEY WILL COME FORTH AND FIGHT FOR YOU.
When I was a young Christian, I used to fast and pray. Sometimes twenty-one days; sometimes ten days or two weeks; one time it was for forty days. I was just fasting—continuously fasting. I had to fast, because I had lust. I had lust and desires and evil things that I hated in my body! I do not think you have those things and probably that is why you do not fast, but the things that I hate were the things that I had in me. A young man asked me one day, “Do you mean, Brother Ces, all through my life I am going to have to be fighting lust?” I said, “No. I got rid of lust when I was a young man, and you can get rid of it in your youth.” What does the Bible say about youthful lusts? “Flee!” That means you must run, for “Flee” means to run away from. It says, “Flee youthful lusts” (2 Timothy 2:22), and “…abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul” (1 Peter 2:11). YOUTHFUL LUSTS DESTROY THE POWER OF GOD IN YOUR MINISTRY AND IN YOUR LIFE. I do not know if you know that, but I got rid of it when I was young; but God (Jesus Christ) trained me. I did not go to Bible school and that is why I want to train you and set you up now for the biggest battle of your life.
Jesus came to me one day and said to me, “Come with Me. I want to show you Calvary.” I want you to hear what I am saying. Jesus wanted to show me Calvary. He took me from the time they gave Him the first blow (when the centurion slapped Him on His face with the back of his hand) to the crucifixion. After the centurion’s blow, they beat Him with the cat-o’-nine tails. That thing strips your back, and that was how the first blood that was drawn. They then took thorns and they twisted it into a crown. I do not know what you call it, but they are thorns that grow on a long string and you can wind it into a crown. Some people call it “crown of thorns,” and some call it “Jerusalem thorn,” or something like that.
They made a crown of thorns and they put it on His head. A man took a rod and hit Him on the head (Matthew 27:29-30), and it fastened down like a pincushion—right through the flesh of the scalp.
I am telling you what He showed me. You need to be able to read the account of Jesus’ crucifixion and understand how the blood was shed, and get it embedded into your mind and into your heart. When we come to communion, you know that Christ said that we are to remember Him and this blood. (1 Corinthians 11:24-26). Remember! Remember! These are God-created barriers of memory in your soul. Remember! We are psychological creatures and there is no need to try to get away from that, and there are certain things that have to be done to us in our minds in order to get us to be ready to move in God.
The blood came through the skin at the base of the head. That is the first vision He gave me. He then showed me all the abuse. He showed me how they abused Him on the way with the cross, and how He fell beneath the cross. He told me that the worst thing that hurt Him was when one man spat in His face and He could not even wipe the saliva because His hands were bound. Again, another time, one raised a hand and cried, “Crucify him! Crucify Him!” and the hand that was raised was a hand that He had healed.
Now, I am just telling you how I learned the blood. He showed me all this concerning the time when He went to Calvary, and how He was hung on the tree. Brethren, after that got into my mind and I read through the account in the Bible, it became a permanent foundation in my heart. You need a foundation of the blood.
You need a permanent foundation of the blood in you! Do you know why? The blood is your life! The blood is your life! And God said that we in the last days are going to fight the last fight. He said that you are going to fight. Did you hear that? The last fight—which God is ordaining a church to fight—He said that it is “…by the blood” that you are going to overcome them! And it is not just the blood alone, but He said, “…and by the word of their (your) testimony.”
“AND THEY OVERCAME HIM (THE DEVIL) BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY…” (Revelation 12:11).
I want you to look in the Bible (Judges 7:16-21) of the time when Gideon broke the vessel, and to see it this time that YOU are the vessel! Until that earthen vessel be broken, the light will not shine forth. When Gideon broke the vessel, God said they should call out the word, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon.” It means to say, “The sword of the Lord and of (you, I).” “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon”—both of us! God and I! Do you hear me? Hallelujah!
He showed me this, and the thing became a mountain in my soul. Now, there came the first test that I was going to have, that this thing really did something to me. I have told you this story so often you must know it by heart. Some people do not know it. It gives me pleasure to tell it to you again.
My Next Battle
We were battling with this great sorcerer who held a whole town. This town was so afraid of this man that nobody would hurt him. Nobody would go close to him. He was king. He hit a man and the man went to the hospital; and when the police brought the case against him, the judge fell down off the seat. Amen! The judge could not try the case, because every time the judge sat down he fell off; and they had to put off the case.
When he saw how his power had worked, the sorcerer then went to the man and said, “Now, if you want to live, come before all these people here in this village and bow before me, and ask my pardon.” Let me tell you, the man had to bow before him and beg him to forgive him.
He came upon the church now, and was ready to fight us. So he said, “duCille is a dead man!” I cannot tell you the details of the battle, but one Wednesday night I went home after service, and I did not get there until near midnight because I had to walk up a very high hill. It was so high that when you would get home you were just wet and tired.
I was in my pajamas and just about to step into bed when I looked around, and there was no wall in the house. The wall was gone! Immediately I got the word of knowledge, that because there was a battle coming God had lifted me up into a higher realm. So I stood up, waiting for this attack to come. However, I became too complacent. Never be complacent before a battle, no matter how cocksure you are that you are going to win. In my waiting, I had forgotten all about the battle, and I began to admire the beauty of the moonlight and the banana trees. They were just waving in the breeze, and I was just enjoying my “exalted” position in God.
Suddenly something stepped into the room. It might have been nine feet tall. This thing came in, and it had the shape of a man, but the head came off into a funny shape that I could not discern. When that happened, what I should have done was to have pulled back into God. I should have pulled back into God and I should have begun to pray. However, guess what I did? I attacked him. I said, “In the name of Ahhh…!” I tried but it did not make it out of my mouth. He came through the wall like lightning and struck me, knocking me over on the bed; and he was on top of me like a lion holds its prey.
He could not hold my mind, because the blood of Jesus Christ was in my forehead.
My head weighed one ton; my hands were useless. I could not move my hand. I COULD NOT MOVE ANY PART OF ME, BUT MY MIND WAS ACTIVE. DO YOU HEAR ME? HE COULD NOT HOLD MY MIND, BECAUSE THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST WAS IN MY FOREHEAD! Hallelujah! The moment he struck me, Jesus jumped in the bed. I just heard another heavy thump in the bed beside me, and although my head could not turn, I looked at Him. I saw the eyes. Once you look into the eyes of Jesus, all your troubles are over. Brethren, I looked into His eyes and there was such a peace that flooded me. He touched me on my shoulder and He said, “Do not struggle. This is not a natural struggle; it is a spiritual struggle.” The moment He said that, I just relaxed.
Then I saw the cross. It was the same cross that He had shown me before. The cross rose up before me and I saw Jesus hanging on the cross, and I will tell you how He was hanging. His weight was slumped on His hands, and His head was turned to the left. And the thorns…at the point of the thorns…. Now, you know why I am telling you this story over and over and over again—I want you to get it into your mind. Put it as frontlets upon your mind. Get it into your hearts! Hold it! Never forget it! That is why He gave it to me—to give it to you!
The blood was running down His cheeks. His arms were stretched, and I saw blood twirling down the armpits and coming down. Blood gushed out from His side, kind of wetting the whole of Him, and the blood was falling down the foot of the cross; and He was hanging there.
I kept looking at this, until one drop of blood came from His left hand and it went “drip.” I said, “Thank You, God.” I said, “That one drop of blood could save the whole world,” and my soul rejoiced in the drop of blood.
I saw His right hand now, and one drop of blood came “drip” from His right hand, and I said, “Thank you, Jesus. That drop of blood could destroy every demon in hell!” Oh glory to God! (Now remember, only my mind worked. Everything else was dead.) The moment I said that, a drop of blood dropped right into my face. When it hit me, I convulsed. “Jesus!” I shouted, and I slammed the thing, throwing him against the wall! And Brethren—the battle was over! Hallelujah! The battle was over.
WHEN I THOUGHT OF IT, IT WAS THE FAITH IN THE BLOOD THAT RELEASED ME FROM THIS TERRIBLE THING FROM HELL. This thing was one of the greatest killers from hell. That man who sent it out died, as well as this great, mighty man who was one of the greatest sorcerers in Jamaica. This man, who just speaks the word and does all kinds of evil things—He died. He crashed into a train, and there was deliverance.
I know some of you do not like me to talk about demons and devils, but this is my message tonight so you had better listen. Now, the secret here is that when demons and devils are sent out for blood, they are given blood and offered blood. They are offered your blood, and so if they come to you and they cannot kill you, they go back and kill the person who sent them. That is the law in the demonic realm. Amen?
Believe in the Blood
So I began to learn from Jesus about the blood. First of all, He got me to believe in it; then He put me in a battle wherein it defended me. Hallelujah. I tell you, it so happened that when we went on this last trip to India, we went and challenged the spirit of Kali and the ruling spirits of the area. This great Kali, the great enemy of mankind, that all India is afraid of. We said to the people, “In the Name of Jesus, we will set you free from Kali.”
That night we went to bed late, sometime after twelve; and no sooner than I closed my eyes, the thing jumped on me. He jumped on me and he grappled with me.
I had no fear. That is one blessing. There was no fear, and I think God must have done it. I just had a job to do. I said, “I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus!” “In the Name of Jesus! The blood of Jesus be upon you!” The moment I said, “the blood of Jesus,” he disappeared. Thinking that I had won the battle, I turned to go out, and out of the wall the thing came—just out of the wall the thing came, “Hhyahh!” (He makes that sound with his bared teeth), and he grabbed my hand.
YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE DEVIL. IF HE CANNOT FRIGHTEN YOU, HE CANNOT BEAT YOU. FEAR IS ONE OF HIS GREATEST WEAPONS. IF FAITH IS OUR WEAPON, FEAR IS HIS WEAPON; AND YOU CANNOT HAVE FAITH AND FEAR AT THE SAME TIME. IF YOU FEAR YOU DO NOT HAVE FAITH, AND IF YOU HAVE FAITH YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY FEAR.
If you have faith you do not have any fear
He jumped right out of the wall. His intention was a sudden attack to bring fear, fright, terror! Again, I was not afraid. He caught the two fingers of my left hand in his mouth and he began to apply pressure on my fingers. While I am rebuking him, I took the two fingers and grabbed his tongue. So there was a kind of stalemate there, but the thing is that my rebuke did not stop him. Did you hear me? The word of my mouth needs to be purified, so that I can blast the biggest enemy with the word of my mouth. Amen!
Words of Our Mouth Need to be Purified
It did not stop him. He came back with a greater force, and the Spirit of God whispered in my ears and said, “The blood,” and I said, “Jesus Christ, bring down the blood upon him.” Hallelujah! Blood began to flow from the ceiling and dropped on his head. He began to wobble, and I took one hand and pulled my finger out of his mouth. He fell to the floor like a bundle of rags, and in the name of Jesus, I finally KICKED him outside! (Have you ever kicked in the Name of Jesus?)
Well I went to God and said, “Lord. What is it, then? Why I was able to use the blood so effectively?” and He said, “Look back on your training. The blood has built a monument inside of you.” (Are you hearing me, Brethren?) SLEEP ON IT! TALK ABOUT IT! THINK ABOUT IT! BUILD POWER IN GOD! FOR THE BLOOD OF GOD NOT ONLY CLEANSES THE SOUL, BUT IT GIVES YOU POWER AGAINST THE POWER OF THE ENEMY! HALLELUJAH!
THAT IS ONE OF THE GREATEST REVELATIONS I HAVE HAD, FOR ALTHOUGH I KNEW IT WORKED, I DID NOT KNOW WHY IT WORKED. DO YOU HEAR ME? I DID NOT KNOW WHY IT WORKED. IF SATAN CAN GET YOU TO HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST YOUR BROTHER OR YOUR SISTER OR ANYBODY; IF HE CAN GET YOU TO QUARREL, TO FUSS, TO HAVE DISTRESS, TO BE WORRIED—HE IS DESTROYING THE POWER OF THE WORD AND THE BLOOD IN YOU. HALLELUJAH!
Faith! You must have faith, but your faith must be in something. In other words, faith is a subsidiary weapon that cannot work by itself. Are you with me? Faith cannot work by itself. You cannot have wild faith like the “Name It And Claim It” type of faith. That is a wild faith, and it does not have substance in anything. So, therefore, you have faith in a word. I am going to give you an example. Hallelujah!
Faith in the Word of God
God anointed David to be king from when he was a young boy, and He told David, “You will be king over Israel.” Now David knows that if God said he will be king then God could not allow him to be killed. So later, young David faced Goliath with impunity, knowing that his God will bring down Goliath. He knew this because God had told him he was supposed to be king down the road.
Have you ever gotten a prophecy? Somebody here comes to my mind. Becky, have you ever gotten a prophecy from God? Do you remember in your mind what the prophecy said? Do you know that the devil cannot kill you, because God gave you a prophecy that down the road you are going to be somebody. Hallelujah!
Just praise God, Brethren! Amen! Now God does not say you can be presumptuous and go throw yourself over a precipice, and say, “Well God said I am going to be king (or queen), so therefore let me throw myself over this precipice, because God will keep me up.” Presumptuous sin is against God.
If you don’t have a word – ask God to give you a word
So therefore, you have a word from God. If you do not have a word from God, go to God and get yourself a word. Did you hear me? Let every man of God, woman of God, child of God get a word of God that is absolutely, completely yours; and hold that word because [the song] says,
“When the storms of life are raging, and you are tossed o’er sea and land, you will find a place of refuge in the hollow of His hand.”
If you will take refuge under that word that God has given you, it will be “a lamp to your feet and a light to your path” (Ref. Psalm 119:105), and it says in Psalm 119:11,
“Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.”
Hallelujah! Glory to God!
I was not supposed to talk, you know, because I am not supposed to have a voice. I am supposed to be coughing, but praise be to God, instead I cough the message out to you. I do not believe that a cough can stop me from giving a message that God gives me, for if God gives me a message He knows that the cough is going to stop. If God gives you a word, the word becomes a fortress and a weapon, and something to hold on to. So therefore, you must have faith in something. You must have faith in a word of God, and anybody who does not have a word, get one!
I will give you a word. When I was just saved, I did not know what salvation was. I did not know who God was, but since the time that God came into my room, He gave me a word, and He has given me the one word seven times. He said, “As I was with Moses, so will I be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.” He said, “No man shall stand before you all the days of your life.” He said, “Anywhere the soles of your feet tread upon, that will I give to you.” That is what He spoke to Joshua, but Jesus came to my room and He said it to me seven times; and there is no way or possibility of anybody ever discouraging me—any demon, any devil, any man! Do you hear me? The word of God has become a fortress and a monument in my soul, and the soul of man becomes a bulwark of God! Do you hear me? Your soul, becomes a bulwark for God! A walking, talking, conquering soul; not able to be defeated, because you have a word of God.
So then, the faith of God must work with the word of God. Amen! If God gives you a word, then you have faith. If God gives you no word, then you have no faith. You cannot have faith without having some foundation to your faith.

We Have Battles to Fight
…I am so glad! So glad God brought us here together. So glad! This place [the work in Mahomet] will be a place of victory for God. God shall break the power of the enemy right in these walls. God shall bring down the high looks of the mighty one. He shall exult the humble and the meek. He shall bring to pass His holy desire in the earth. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen! From this place men shall go forth across the earth and bring the light of God to bring down the kingdoms of the devil. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
We have a battle to fight in Africa, because God promised me to bring down the spirit that rules over the people of Africa. Do you hear me? God promised me. I do not care what He promised anybody else, He promised me to bring down the kingdom of Satan in Africa. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
God sent us to India. He promised to bring down the powers that rule India. We visited the center of all the iniquity of India. Amen. What is the name of the place? Nagarcoil? I believe it is in the area where the apostle Thomas landed. They killed him in Madras. Hallelujah! They will not kill us. We have come to finish the job that Thomas started. Amen.
A great revival has broken out in India—in Andra, Pradesh and in Tamil Nadu. Great revival has broken forth. The night before we left, about fifteen people received the baptism of the Holy Ghost; and they went to their homes and fire started in Andra Pradesh. We received a report from down in Nagarcoil that they have a revival down there and that many souls have been saved.
Up in the center of India in the Hyderbad area there is a great revival that has started up there, and the work in India has gotten too big. We were wondering what we are going to do, and if we should stop it, because it is just spreading, spreading, spreading. We cannot stop it, and praise be to God, we are not going to stop it. God, Who started it, is going to support it! Amen! Hallelujah! They just got a letter from a brother named Daniel and eleven new churches have sprung up in a month since we left there. Hallelujah!
Many of you have given to India and we have not really reported back what is going on. We have thirteen ministers there. We support thirteen brothers who are ministering full-time, and now they have asked us to add on something like ten more because the work is spreading so much.
These brothers, they have nothing, but they just go forth preaching. Amen. You give them forty dollars to carry a man and his wife and children for a month, and they go on preaching. These people get excited over the kingdom of God. Amen. I would like to see you get excited. I would like to see the young people get excited, and go forth in the Name of Jesus! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God is breaking down the kingdoms of the devil.
Arm Yourselves !
ARM YOURSELVES! I have one last word—ESTHER. Esther, a young girl who became the queen. Hallelujah! A day was set to destroy all the Jews (Ref. Esther 3:13-14). Do you know that there is a day set to destroy you? Yes, there is a day set to destroy Christians. They are trying to make laws in the United States against Christians, and the day will come when you will be persecuted for Christianity. Hallelujah!
The day was set to destroy the Jews, and Esther put her queenship and her life on the line. Amen? Esther is a type of the Church. She put her life on the line. Esther asked the king, what could he do about that day? She asked him if he could stop the day from coming. Have you ever asked God to stop the “evil day” from coming upon the brethren? Do you know what the king said? He said, “The law of the Medes and the Persians cannot be changed” (Esther 8:8), and you cannot change the Bible. You cannot stop the day. He said to her, “Arm yourselves…against that day.” (Ref. Esther 8:8-13)
GOD BLESS YOU. THAT IS THE LAST WORD I GIVE YOU: ARM YOURSELVES AGAINST THAT DAY! NONE OF US SHOULD BE OVERTHROWN. GOD HAS GIVEN US POWER OVER THE POWER OF THE ENEMY. WHY SHOULD WE ALLOW LUST AND THE THINGS OF THE WORLD (WORLDLINESS, GREED—ALL THESE NATURAL, DEMONIC THINGS) TO OVERTHROW US! CAST THEM ASIDE! TURN TO GOD, AND LIVE! IN THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN. PRAY FOR US.
