Scripture reading: Exodus 12:21-30

Jesus said, “…and greater works than these shall he [he that believeth on me] do also; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12). What Jesus meant is that we have not seen anything yet. The magnitude will be great, because it will be millions of us moving in the “fullness of Christ” (Ref. Ephesians 4:13), and He says He will give us the fullness at midnight. You will remember what happened at midnight in Egypt. God opened up the gates of hell and the devils of murder were let loose; they were hungry for blood. The devils were given the order to kill every firstborn in Egypt, but God instructed Moses to kill the lamb, and put the blood on the doorposts and lintels throughout all the land of Goshen (Ref. Exodus 12:22). “Stand with your loins girded, ready to go, eating the lamb at midnight.” The demons and devils rushed towards the land of Goshen, but the first house they approached, the Shekinah Glory of God was shining over the doorposts and lintel, and none could enter the houses where the blood was placed.

Have you ever heard of a demon that was canceled? Once in my sleep, I saw a woman coming from the door, full of wrath, saying, “You are the one that killed me. I am going to get you.” I rebuked her and said, “Bind her forever, Lord, and do not let her touch another Christian.” Soon after, I got a call from someone asking if I had seen her (in the spirit). I said, “Yes, she is in hell.”

Do you know that the “lintel” is your mind? Your forehead blazes fire when you rebuke a devil. He is burnt by the blaze of God’s glory from your forehead. His power is canceled by the firepower from the Spirit of God within us. The devils could not face the land of Goshen, but they turned their wrath upon the unbelievers. The “doorposts” are your hands. Keep your doorposts working for God. There were some sinners who were saved that night, because they believed and hid in the houses of the Israelites. The message was given out a long time before, and those who believed could have found refuge. Some were running in at five minutes to midnight, but they were saved because they believed.

So, let us not fear the things that are coming to pass in the earth, but let us rejoice. If you dwell “in the secret place of the Most High God,” they will not come “nigh thy dwelling” (Ref. Psalm 91). They will not touch the secret place of the Most High God.

Thought for today: Let us cover our mind and hands with the Blood of Jesus so that we may dwell under the shadow of the Almighty.

Scripture reading: Hebrews 11:8-10

We are now entering into the end of the Great Tribulation, which is the worst part of the tribulation and when many things are going to happen, like losing our houses, our bank accounts, and our present way of life that we know and love so much. In this time, we must still hold fast to the promises of God and carry on His work for the deliverance of men. God is strengthening us at this time in our walk with Him. God is not expecting us to do it by our own will, but He is expecting us to believe Him.

Somebody was sharing about Abraham and depicted him as an ordinary person, which he was. But at the same time God testified of him several times in the Scriptures that “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.” Abraham was righteous in his generation, although the requirements in his day were not what God would require of us today. The Blood of Jesus was not yet shed and the Holy Ghost was not yet given. How blessed we are!

In order for us to be found in the same heavenly places where faithful Abraham was, we have to be part of what the Bible calls the Firstfruits company. Some of us might be saying to ourselves, “I do not know if I am in the Firstfruits company. I do not know if I am worthy. I do not know if I will make it. I probably am not because I slipped and fell last week, and nobody knows. The people in church do not suspect that I get mad sometimes, and curse other times, etc., etc.” All these thoughts are designed by the devil to convince us that we are not of God. But the truth is that for us to be worthy, we only have to trust God. God has a different design. God’s design is that by faith we can lay hold of His promises and that by faith we can enter into His everlasting Kingdom. If we sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ; and with the remission of sins comes purity and holiness.

God is not asking you to do it by your integrity or by your own personal character. God is asking you to put your character, integrity and abilities aside, by faith lay hold of the promises, and like the publican (Ref. Luke 18:13) to drop on your knees and admit your unworthiness. Ask God to help you and to save you from the traps and snares of the devil; and say, “Lord, I believe; help Thou my unbelief.”

Thought for today: Remember it is by faith that we can lay hold of His promises and by faith we can enter into His everlasting Kingdom.

Scripture reading: Matthew 16:13-19

There is something I want to show to you, which I trust will give you a new perspective in the Spirit. The church is at war against the principalities and powers of darkness, so when the enemy touches one, he touches all. This stirs the hearts of the people of God unto prayer and fasting. The Lord has been revealing to us that we should not anymore wait for the enemy to attack us, but that we should attack him, and through the Blood of Jesus Christ bind the principalities and powers and rulers of darkness of this world, in every one of our areas where we live and work. This attack should be continuous as an offensive action. Every time we pray, we should bind the ruling spirits in our area, so that they should take their hands off the lives of the people, in their homes, in their families, in their churches. The Scriptures say in Matthew 16:18 that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. This means that the church should attack hell and break down its gates and set the captives free.

Isaiah 49:24, “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”

The battle is the Lord’s.

When a brother and a sister we know were hospitalized after a terrible accident, there was a night and day prayer going up to God on their behalf. There was a continuous 24 hour a day prayer, as brethren all over the world joined us. They were constantly on our mind. We began to tell the brethren to pray differently from the way they were used to; that they should COMMAND the deliverance through the anointing of the Spirit, because healing is the “children’s bread” (Matthew 15:26). Speak the word! The centurion asked of Jesus that if He would just “speak the word,” he knew that his servant would be healed (Matthew 8:8). The power of the spoken word accomplishes much. Many times, we are begging and pleading with God for that which He has already given.

I remember the time when Jesus asked me, “What do you want? Whatever you desire, ask and it shall be given.” I said, “Lord, I want to see someone healed.” He gave me the gift of healing. I ran through the door out into the street searching for a sick person. I found a sick woman, spoke the word, and she got up out of her sick bed, healed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

People of God, stop crying and doubting. Begin to move in the Spirit and power of God. When you start doing this, you will find out how willing the Spirit of God is to work through you. He only needs clean, submitted vessels. You will never know whether you have a gift or not until you begin to be exercised in it.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, April 1997, pg. 4-6)

Thought for today: Will you take up the challenge and command the deliverance to your life and the lives of God’s people? You will be surprised how willing the Spirit of God is to work through you.

Scripture reading: John 1:1-9

Sometimes you have a loved one and you are praying for him and you feel that this one has gone too far. When the enemy begins to tell you this person is too bad or has gone too far, it is his work to cut down your ability to intercede. Anyone who says that of himself or of others is being ministered to by the spirits of Satan. The power of the Blood of Jesus Christ reaches beyond the boundary of all the barriers that hell can conceive and that man can put up, and God is able to save us to the uttermost by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Someone says that they abort babies, that they kill babies, that so many of them are being killed, and that they have all gone to hell. We do not know the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. The Blood of Jesus Christ will reach beyond human consciousness and will bring that fetus or that young child to God. God knows, if He had given that child a thousand years to live, what that child would be. And God judges him upon that basis. He brings salvation to him. He is able to save to the uttermost. Someone else says that men bow down to wood and stone, worshiping other gods and that they are lost. Man is not lost until he rejects Jesus Christ and he cannot reject Jesus Christ until he sees Jesus Christ. When he gets to know Jesus Christ, then he has the privilege of either accepting Him or rejecting Him. God must reveal Himself to man before man can go to hell.

John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” Verses 8 and 9, “He (John) was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” This is the Christ who “LIGHTETH EVERY MAN.” We need to make note of this. “EVERY MAN THAT COMETH INTO THE WORLD.”

Why would anybody go to hell? John 3:18 and 19, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” The point at which men go to hell is not because they are sinners, for we were all born in sin and shaped in iniquity and were all children of hell, but then we heard something. We saw something. We believed.

Are we more fortunate than all the other human beings who have not heard and seen? No. Do you know why? Because He “lighteth every man that cometh into the world” (John 1:9). There is no man that can leave this world and face God and say that God never gave him the opportunity He gave others. What he has to say is that God did bring him to consciousness one day. That he did see Jesus and he did reject Him and he is worthy of hell. The point is, God MUST (there are few things that God must do), in order to vindicate His name, reveal Himself to every human being on earth. A man can live godless all his life, but the hour will come when suddenly he will be awakened to consciousness. One minute, one second, will be like an eternity for he will see himself as he really is and see God as He really is and, in that moment, must either accept Him or reject Him.

Scripture reading: Malachi 3:1

Jesus will appear in His temple before He appears in the earth. Let us read from Malachi 3:1. “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come TO his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.”

In Matthew 16:27 and 28, Jesus is speaking to his disciples. “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” Jesus was speaking about Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came within His kingdom.

Luke 17:20 and 21 says that we are the kingdom of God. Verse 20 clearly states the context. “And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” These two verses speak of HIS COMING IN US.

Jesus Christ is in us and He is coming in us. Jesus Christ is in the world and He is coming in the world. He is coming in a way that He is not in at present. Jesus came in us through the Blood and through the Holy Ghost and if we continue in Him, He grows in us. The Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and planted the seed in her womb. There is a planting of the seed of Christ in the womb of the church. THE SOUL OF MAN IS THE WOMB OF THE CHURCH. When Jesus Christ is planted in the soul of man there is a noticeable change in the soul nature. The day you accepted Jesus as your Saviour and received the blood cleansing, there was a marked change in your whole behavior. This change was not satisfactory. I do not know if you are satisfied, but I am not. I am not satisfied with the way my mind works. I have to always keep it under the wraps of the Word of God, to keep it controlled. I am not satisfied with the way my emotions work. They are always going off where Christ is not, and I want to be totally in Christ. I am not satisfied with my will in serving God, for there are inconsistences in my will which say things apart from the direct things that God wants me to do. Therefore I find fault with my will. I find fault with my desires. They are not at all perfect. God says that this work in the soul must come to a point of perfection. He calls it the coming forth of the sons of God.

If we look in Romans 8, we can see what God had revealed to the Apostle Paul in clear language that we can understand. Romans 8:19, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”

(Excerpt from The Book of Revelation, Volume 1, pg. 59-60)

Thought for today: Are you satisfied with the way your mind works? Are you satisfied how your will serves God? Are you anxiously waiting with abated breath for the manifestation of the sons of God? Pray that you continue in Him and that He grows in you!
