Scripture reading: Hebrews 11:32-40

Brethren, we are at a place where God has shown us a problem. I will give you this vision that I had:

We were traveling on a road that ended; there was no charted road to where we were going. So then, we started going across fields and woodlands, and we were totally blocked by flood waters. Flood waters! The Scriptures in Revelation 12 said that Satan would cast out floods of waters out of his mouth to drown the woman church. We came to a point where we could go no farther, and God showed us that there is only one alternative. We had no choice! We had to go on higher ground! That was our only hope, because all the plain was covered with flood waters and we could not walk through the flood. We had to go on higher ground.

As we started going up the side of this steep mountain, there was a contour (you know, how they make roads on mountains—the contour on the mountainside). We could see that it might be a track that people would walk on before, but this was covered over with grass and weeds. (Nobody walked there for a long, long time). Do you hear me, brethren? Nobody walked there! We are going into uncharted country. We are being led into a place where there is no compass to guide us. There is no road to guide us. The Holy Spirit in us is going to guide us, and that is going to be our only way to go!

Turn with me to Hebrews 11. Let us look at the last two verses and see if this has some indication of what is happening. Verse 39, “And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise.” Do you know what promise he is talking about? “And I will walk in them and I will talk in them…and ye shall be My people and I shall be your God.” They received not the promise. Verse 40, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. In other words, these men overcame lions, they overcame all manner of evil that attacked them on earth, they were sawn asunder; some were killed in various ways, but none attained unto the stature of the overcomers that God must have in the end time!

What must these overcomers do? Let us turn to Revelation 12:7, “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

This is a mystery, but let me explain this simple mystery for you. You know that the Bible, the Word of God, was written in seven mysteries, and these seven seals were broken to us one by one. This mystery that God is talking about here is the serpent in heaven occupying this human body—this heaven that God must live in forever, that God must walk in and God must talk in, and God must reign in!

I heard you singing, and when you sang songs about Jesus Christ being King and reigning upon His throne, did you notice that there was life? Why do you think there was life? This is the word that God is saying to us: that He wants Jesus Christ alone to reign in this kingdom and that we must get the devil out! The devil must be cast out! God said He would send Michael, the archangel, the mightiest force in heaven. It is not that Michael “will” come, but Michael “is” here helping us in our infirmities. He is helping us to overcome the mighty devils that have been let loose, which were bound before but are now loosed and are giving us the hardest battle that mankind ever faced!

Thought for today: Remember, we are going into uncharted country where there is no road to guide us. Our only way to go is to be guided by the Holy Spirit in us.

Scripture reading: Jeremiah 31:31-34

In the book of Revelation, John saw all of us sitting here. John said he looked at the company of the overcomers and they were all worshiping the Lord. He saw you! Before you were born, he saw you, and you were worshiping the Lord; and God said, “It is good. Let them be birthed.”

So, we are born in various, different circumstances. Some of us were born in darkness: “Lord, when I think of the night… my soul… in the past! It was so dark; it was so terrible; it was so hopeless!” Yet, God said, “It is good!” For God saw the end of it.

Although I cannot see the end of it, I am rejoicing in the end of it, for I know that God is seeing it. He said that all them that He called, He perfected (Ref. Romans 8:29-30). He said He called you because He already perfected you! He knows what you are going to go through!

Today we are up against the Church’s greatest battle up to this point, and I believe there will be no greater when we overcome. The reason is that we are just a few years from the end of this age, and according to my understanding, after the end of this age, Christ must come forth and walk and talk in human flesh and blood. He must walk on the streets of the city and bring forth the glory of God; and mankind must see God walking through men! This is the promise. He said in Jeremiah 31:33, “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

This promise was made to Israel, and as God engrafted us into this Israel, we became a part of the promise. So God must, I say, God must bring forth this thing on earth before He finishes the job! He cannot finish this age until He has brought this thing to pass! God must be God, and we must be a kingdom of priests, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, and a peculiar people unto God (Ref. 1 Peter 2:9). You are not satisfied with what you are right now and I am not satisfied with what I am. Then, if we are not satisfied, God is not satisfied either!

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, July 2000, pg. 27-28)

Thought for today: Let us strive in our daily lives towards having God’s law written in our hearts.

Scripture reading: Jeremiah 31:33

Jeremiah 31:33 speaks of the handwriting of God in the heart of the believer. Revelation 14:1 says, “And I looked, and lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name (and I add here, and His name) WRITTEN IN THEIR FOREHEADS.” I added that because the Greek word in this instance is “tou patros autou” which means, “the name of the Father and of Himself.” The forehead depicts the mind.

The name of God is the important thing. The name or the nature of God written in the mind of the believer is that which is going to deliver him from the destruction of the tribulation. At this time, the believer is being given the opportunity of imbibing the nature of God within himself. This nature of God within him will repel the power of Satan and will stop the mark of the beast from ever being able to come to him. If God’s mark is His nature or His name in the forehead of the believer, then the devil’s mark in the forehead would be the devil’s nature or his name.

Revelation 13:16, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.” Notice that God marks the people “in their foreheads,” but the devil will mark you either in your right hand or in your forehead.  The nature of Satan is being marked in the foreheads of the people. You avoid getting the mark of the devil by imbibing the Word of God, making the Word of God your life, loving God, and singing spiritual songs and hymns – by your whole nature being trained towards God and not towards the world.

The devil has all his tentacles coming through everything in the world and bombarding us. The music that he sends is designed to make you brutal and carnal and sinful. If you just watch the people operate under the power of the music, you will see the carnality and the brutality, like demons gyrating in the fires of hell. This is what I see when I see people dancing on the disco floor with lights flashing and the Satanic influence all around them. You can see Satan reaching the people through the music, through the rock, through the reggae, through the demonic music he has invented. He was the master of music. The schools are teaching a lot more than the 3 R’s. The children get carnality, sinfulness, sexuality, and demonic influence from the teachers. The teachers have been filled with psychology of demons and the people of God are exposed to it. May God have mercy, because all these children are being demonized.

If you think that I am radical, then you need to hear the truth. I am just barely touching on the various areas of influence. They demonize the very food we eat to bring us under the control of Satan. It affects the mind. The clothes we wear are all sexual enchanters’ clothes. Clothes used to mark a harlot. Now everybody wears harlot clothes. It is so popular and so common and people are so excited about wearing this kind of thing that you cannot even teach the people of God that the demons have made clothes for them. Demons make clothes to show off the body and to get people to lust and be in the lust market, the flesh market.

At this time, God is marking the people of God in their minds and He said that if you have the mark of God, you cannot have the mark of the devil. This is marvelous. If you receive the mark of Jesus Christ you will not be able to take the mark of the beast. If you are worldly, if you love the world and the things that are in the world, then you are going to be one of the foolish virgins.

(Excerpt from The Book of Revelation, Volume 1, pages 139-141)

Thought for today: Let us reject the devil’s mark and receive the mark of Jesus Christ by opening ourselves up to God and inculcating our minds with the Word of God.

Scripture reading: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

But, whom say ye that I am?” was the question that Jesus Christ asked the brethren, the apostles in Matthew 16. They told Him what the people were saying. “They say that You are John the Baptist, or that You are Elias, or that You are Jeremiah.” What does that tell you? That tells you that the doctrine the people had was a false doctrine, because they believed in reincarnation. If you are telling me that John the Baptist, or Elias, or any other Christian who has passed on is returning to this life in another body, then you believe in reincarnation. Right away, Jesus and the brethren saw through it, that these people were all wrong. They were not recognizing Jesus Christ – Jesus, the Messiah. They were not recognizing Him as God in human flesh. God said that He will appear again; but they are not really believing it now either! They are not believing that you have Jesus in you. Now, do you believe it? If you do not believe you have Jesus in you, you are in trouble.

The people saw a man. They saw a flesh and bone blood man standing before them. “Who do you think I am?” Jesus asked.

You know, God called me. God sent me. God spoke to me personally and I never doubted who I was from that time until this. I never doubted who I am. So, God allowed various men to come against me. He allowed various organizations to come against me. He allowed all kinds of satanic forces to come against me, but it never fazed me.

Somebody asked me, “How do you survive? How do you function?” I came into a place like the United States, and went right contrary, opposite against the doctrines that were being preached in the churches. I have been kicked out of church, after church, after church. On one occasion, when they kicked me out, a brother was sympathizing with me. I said, “Brother, you are wasting your sympathy. Go and sympathize with the people who missed the opportunity of having the Word of God preached to them.” He said, “No, you can’t be serious! You can’t really mean that!” I said, “That’s exactly how I feel; that’s exactly what I mean and exactly what I know.” Do you know why? Because, I know who I am. I know when Jesus called me and said, “I want you to go and preach the Gospel to My people.”

Black churches have called me. They said, “We want you to work with us. We want you to be our apostle. You do not have to worry about money or anything. We will just make you number-one man.” I said, “I am already called and sent.” They never understood me. I said, “I am already called and sent; and I am sent to God’s people. I am not sent to anybody with any special color! Anywhere God’s people are, those who will hear the word of the Kingdom, there I will go.”

I think God laughs at people who see color and all that sort of things, because we should know that God does not have a color. I understand He does not have a skin. Your color is in your skin, and if He does not have any skin, He cannot have a color. The carnal man will always think of a carnal God to satisfy his own carnal nature.

Let us try to think of God. We asked God to come and flow through us like a river. If God was a man, He could not flow through us like a river. He could not fill us, fill the whole earth, and fill the people in their various lands at the same time, and fill the whole universe! He could not do that. He would be restricted.

I want you to know that God is seeking a people at this time, and He wants volunteers. You are only going to fit the type for God to use if you can volunteer; and when you volunteer you have to volunteer everything – everything you have, everything you own, everything you are, and everything you ever hoped to be. That is what He wants! That is what will qualify you to be part of the Firstfruits company! That will qualify you to stand with Jesus on mount Zion! That will qualify you to receive the name (or nature) called “144,000” (Revelation 14:1).

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, July 1997, pg. 6-8)

Thought for today: Who do you say Jesus is? When you are able to answer this question, consider honestly before the Lord whether you have volunteered everything to God in order to qualify to be part of the Firstfuits company.

Scripture reading: Daniel 7:27

Let us go back again upon the Word and take some context of Matthew 16. First of all, in Matthew 16:13, Jesus says, “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?” Actually, who men say Jesus is does not really count! Who YOU believe Jesus is – this is what counts! Amen!

Verses 14-15, “…And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, but whom say ye that I am?

We have not employed the power of Jesus to the extent and with the intensity that we should. We all get in trouble and in the midst of the trouble we sometimes forget to call upon the Name of Jesus. However, I want you to remember that at the name of Jesus, “…every knee shall bow” (Philippians 2:10-11).

What does that mean, “…That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow?” Somebody believes that it means that the people are going to praise God and say, “Oh, Lord God, you are wonderful.” That is one way to bow the knee – that is the way Christians bow the knee. However, when a strong man meets a stronger man, he bows the knee by force. Now, we are talking about spiritual force here and that we do have the power to overthrow Satan and all his works. Do you know why the Church will do it now? It is because this is the hour and our time has come. The time has come. Our time is near at hand! Let me show it to you, because some people do not believe that we are really at the time.

Daniel 7:27, “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most high, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Who is the power being given to?  “…the people of the saints of the most high.” They will break Satan! We are not talking about any rapture where we run away and leave things in this condition, but we are talking about beating the devil by the power of the Blood and the Spirit; beating him in this earth, in this life; overcoming him and standing on mount Zion with Jesus Christ! Amen!

We are talking to an overcoming people! Those of you who do not believe in overcoming might as well stop reading now. I am talking to a people who are slated (who are designated; who are mandated) to overcome the devil! The same devil that is striking you in your body; the same devil that is making you sick; the same devil that sends some of us to the hospital; the same devil that sends some of us to every kind of degradation, and sin, and destruction, and distress – that same devil! We are mandated by God to destroy him and we have the power. Oh, yes! We should not bow to the beatings and the slappings of the devil, because if God did not know that we were tough enough, He would not have allowed him to slap us so hard. Some of the things I see some of you going through, I say, “My God, what would I do if I were in that position?”

But the point is that God says of the Sons of God, “…they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:11b). God is making soldiers out of us. People who will not give up because the storm is raging. People who will not give up because things are going against them. People who will not give up because they are weary!

Sometimes you feel like you cannot go another minute. You are weary, you are tired, you are distressed, you are embattled on every hand – that is the time to fight! Hallelujah! Amen! For the victory is just ahead!

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, July 1997, pg. 4-6)

Thought for today: Will you take up the challenge and be one of those overcoming people who do not bow to the beatings of the devil? Keep fighting for the victory is at hand!
