Scripture reading: Matthew 20:25-28

When John the Baptist came on the scene, he started baptizing in the river Jordan. It was a new dispensation. If you were good in the previous dispensation, in this dispensation you would be just a child. Isn’t that what Jesus said? He said that the smallest child in this dispensation would be greater than the greatest prophet (Luke 7:28). Nevertheless, that dispensation (“the dispensation of Christ”) passed and now we have been in a different dispensation (“the dispensation of the fullness”). You cannot look back and begin to live like those in that dispensation over there in the past. You have to be up to mark with the dispensation in which we now live.

Let me read the changing of the dispensation for you. Matthew 25:6, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”

We are talking about this dispensation and then another dispensation coming in. When we look at “the dispensation of Christ” and what happened during this dispensation, we see great miracles and wonderful things happening. People were being saved, born-again, delivered, and so and so and so. You have also seen what has happened in these past 2000 years.

But we have now gone into another dispensation (“the dispensation of the fullness”) and the age of the church is finished. Wake up now. God said in His Word that you should not have a “hierarchical church.” That means having a one-man ruler in the congregation (a big Christian and little Christians). You should not have laity and clergy. You know the Word of God. Amen. The idea of having laity and clergy is alien to the true doctrine of Christ (see Matthew 23:8-11; 20:25-26). But the whole system of the church today was built upon having laity and clergy; it is the clergy that must minister to (rule over) the people. One man even came up with a message and claiming that he got it from God saying that we now have what is called a “husband ministry.” As a result of that, the ministers began to look at the church as their “wife” and ministering “themselves” unto the church. You see, when a man ministers to his wife, she brings forth a child that looks like him. Amen! Therefore, in this same church, God smote them with adultery. Are you with me? God allowed them to be smitten with adultery. In one little congregation there were fifteen people swapping wives and husbands! So then, because of the falseness of their doctrine, they went wrong. Once you get the Word of God wrong, your life gets wrong. God smote them with adultery, and eventually He smote them with death. They had several plane crashes in that little group of people and many deaths.

Now, the dispensation of the church age has therefore already come to an end. If you doubt it, go into one of the churches Sunday morning; go into the one that you think is the best church in your area, and let God teach you. You will see that what is going on there has no place in a church. But, you see, God told us beforehand in Matthew 24. Let us look at it. Matthew 24:15-16, “When ye therefore shall see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.

What is this saying? It is saying that the “Holy Place” church is going to be destroyed. I am not talking about the “Outer Court” church. I am not talking about the denominational people. I am talking about those who have fled from the denominations, have begun to walk in the principles of God and have begun to have the manifestations of the Holy Spirit within their midst, within their souls, and their lives. This scripture says that this is the church that is going to get the antichrist standing up in the midst.

Thought for today: Let us make sure that we are on our way to the Holy of Holies so that we would not be partakers of the destruction of the Holy Place church.

Scripture reading: 2 Kings 2:1-11

Brethren, you have to remember: you are the temple of God. We have allowed the enemy to come into the temple and do many things in us. You see, I do not excuse any Christian for having a temper. So when you go around talking about you having a temper, you had better realize that you are confessing to having a demon that God does not want in you. You MUST get rid of the temper!

I cannot agree with any Christian that says, “I have lust.” Oh yes, I know what lust is. I know that it can be a haunting thing that haunts you through your whole life. “Put fire upon him! Burn him! BURN HIM OUT!” Tell God, “Take this lust, or kill me!” Amen!

I remember the time when I went to God and said, “Kill me! I do not want to live one more inch. I do not want to live one more day.” I stopped eating. I said, “I will not eat until You deliver me from lust.” I stopped eating, and God challenged me. Oh yes, He challenged me! The same day I was hit with pneumonia. God said, “All right, I am going to see if you really mean it.” But, of course, God knew that I meant it. So I said, “All right, God. This is a good chance. No food. No water. Pneumonia! Vomiting blood! Now is the time—take me home!” He would come to me every morning and show me my progress up the hill. There is a little song, a Negro spiritual, that says, “I am climbing up, up, climbing up to Zion, I am climbing up to Zion to see my Lord.” Amen! “…up, up…!” Every morning He came and showed me where I was that morning. Hallelujah!

The month of April came, and it went into May. At that time I could not even move off the bed. My eyes could not remain open; they sank down into a hole. I looked like a ghost! But, who cares? I would rather look like a ghost and get rid of that demon than look good and have the demon with me. Amen! MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD, RISE UP AND REJECT SATAN FROM THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD! Amen!

I am sure you know the story in 2 Kings 2 when Elijah went across the Jordan river. He smote the river and the river parted. He went over on dry land; he went to meet God. Elisha was there with him. I will not tell the whole story now, but that day the chariot of God and the whirlwind took Elijah into heaven alive. Where do you think it took him? Did he go to Jupiter? Or Mars? Or maybe a little farther on in the Milky Way? As carnal people, these are the things we would think. But heaven is not a place in the natural sky. Heaven is a spiritual realm. Heaven is a place on a high frequency of power that we cannot attain unto in our physical form. Do you understand? God has to divide heaven so that we don’t go where the terrible power is. Yet the promise of God is that “in Christ” we shall be sitting at the “right hand” of God.

So the man Elijah went to heaven. That means that he went into a higher frequency than where we human beings are, and into the high frequency where God is; and that frequency is everywhere. You ask, “Where is heaven?” It is everywhere! Elijah went into that frequency and began to learn the things that he never learned as a prophet.

That was “The dispensation of the prophets.” And guess what? That dispensation passed. It passed and there came a great distress in the world because the prophets were all gone. No more prophecy! No more prophets! But then, John the Baptist came…

Thought for today: Men and women of God, rise up and reject Satan from the temple of the living God!

Scripture reading: Matthew 25:1-6

I want to talk to you today about “The Sleeping Church.” Turn your Bibles with me to Matthew and we are going to read from Matthew 25, beginning with Verse 1, “Then shall the kingdom of heaven (the church) be likened unto ten virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom.”

It is interesting: you talk to the people—everybody—and they all say, “We are waiting! Jesus will soon come! We are waiting for Jesus!” All the denominations are waiting for Jesus! But it is going to be “…weeping and gnashing of teeth!” (See Matthew 8:12, 24:51, 25:30).

It goes on in Verse 2, “And five of them were wise and five were foolish.” Spiritually, it is not saying that half of them were wise and half of them were foolish. If half of the church was wise and half was foolish, it would be a wonderful thing. But it is not even ten percent of the church that is wise. There is not even ten percent! So, therefore, we are dealing with all foolish people. Foolish ministries! Foolish congregations!

Let me explain to you what “foolish” means, because sometimes you have to say what the meaning of “is” is. The Bible says in Psalm 14:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.” It says that the fool has said in his heart that there is no God. But here am I (saved, sanctified, baptized in the Holy Spirit) and still I will hide and do sin. I still will tell a lie. When you do this, you are saying that there is no God. You are saying that there is no God! But God is standing up looking at you while you are lying and thinking that you are hiding because the other person does not know about it. Because the people do not know, you feel quite confident that you and your situation are hidden. You come to church, straighten up, and try to sing—but you do not fool the Holy Spirit! Amen!

Let me tell you this: if we came in the congregation and our hearts were pure before God, then when we would open our mouths to sing, the whole area would be shaken! Yes! I am telling you we had had prayer meetings where we would go through the whole night. Then when we would get to three o’clock in the morning (for some reason the Spirit would always fall at that time), people in the town would come running out of their beds to the altar. They wanted Jesus! They would always tell the same stories—they could not sleep. “I was tormented! I had to come!” they would say.

So then, the glory of God and the power of God is getting into you and fastening right there, but it is not coming out. If the power of God was let loose in us, our meeting places would not be able to not hold the number of people. This whole town would be shaken! Sinners would be shaken! Oh, yes!

Forgive me please to deviate, but I have seen sorcerers to destroy churches. I don’t think you believe in sorcery. But if you do not believe in sorcery, if you do not believe that there is a living devil, then you do not believe God. For God said that there is a living devil. Let me say it again: if you do not believe in sorcery, then you do not believe God, for the Bible says that there is sorcery. Amen! In Ephesians it speaks of “…spiritual wickedness in high places.” What do you think He is talking about?

I have seen sorcerers oppress a whole church. Yes! They make the leaders of the church get sick, or some go crazy and out of their minds while the people are praising God, clapping, singing, jumping, and leaping. With all that, they cannot overcome the spirit of sorcery that was let loose upon them.

So, I am saying to you that the church is SLEEPING, but it is a time now to wake it up.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, December 2003, pg. 2-3)

Thought for today: Is the glory and the power of God coming into you but not able to come out? Then, stop hiding your sin but let the Blood of Jesus cleanse you so that you might be part of the five wise virgin company.

Scripture reading: Daniel 10:12-14

Have you ever thought about what the offering of the soul is? The offering of the soul is the offering of the mind, the emotions, the will, and the desires. The mind that we have is a mind, not fashioned after the mind of Christ, but fashioned after the mind of our families. We think like our families think, we behave as our families behave, we do the things that our families have been doing for years and years and years. We are a part of a family, part of a people, part of a nation. The spirits that rule over us and our ancestors and caused our ancestors to behave in a certain fashion – warlike, or loving, or whatever way they behaved – it was all organized and accelerated and assisted and abetted by spirits that occupy that family.

We call these spirits “familiar spirits,” because they belong to the family. Familiar spirits are in every family. Because we were born under Adam, we became part of a whole network of familiar spirits who are directly under princes of devils ruling the whole earth. The whole earth is under satanic rule throughout his palities, different areas of rulership. The world is divided into different areas of rulership and satanic government. This truth is made clear in Daniel 10:12-14.

“Then said he to me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.”

In these Scriptures, we get a little insight into the kingdom of Satan. The prince of the kingdom of Persia who withstood the mighty angel Gabriel was not a human prince. Neither are we writing about the physical kingdom of Persia. This kingdom must have spread beyond the boundaries of the physical area called Persia. We understand from this Word in Daniel that Satan has princes that rule within certain areas and these princes have great power.

We need to understand that there are spirits that rule over nations. Each head of government and each government have spirits that rule over it. Each family has spirits that rule in the family. When we turn to God the power of the ruling spirits is broken and we become free from their rule over us. The spirits may harass us, hinder us, or even oppress us, depending on where we are in the Spirit, but cannot rule over us anymore. As believers we have “power…over all the power of the enemy” according to Luke 10:19. This is the reason the Lord told us through the apostle Paul to pray for the leaders of our country (1 Timothy 2:1-2) because we can disrupt the work of devils in our nation.

Nevertheless, Christians do revert into submitting themselves under these spirits, and then they become bound. For instance, some Christians go back and put themselves under national spirits, becoming nationalistic and sectarian in their approach to God. The true servant of God should never be sectarian, whether it be to your nation or to your family, but should be ready and willing to be a part of what God is doing in the earth.

1 Peter 2:9 says that we are “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation.” Christians belong to the new family of God. There is a tie, a covenant (Ephesians 2:12-22) through the Blood of Jesus Christ, to those who are under the Blood of Jesus in the church. The church is made up of the called-out people. Believers are called out according to families. The Scripture describes it as tribes. There is a calling from God and as we follow the calling of God, we break the bands and the bondage of the spirits that bind our families and bind us as individuals. We keep on breaking these bands until we become absolutely free in Christ Jesus when the fullness has come.

(Excerpt from The Book of Revelation, Volume 1, pg. 176-177)

Thought for today: When we turn to God, the power of the ruling spirits is broken and we become free from their rule over us.

Scripture reading: Matthew 19:9-12

We have been talking about overcoming our emotions. You know, there were two men in the Bible that God speaks about as not being able to control their children. They let their children loose in the things of God to destroy God’s work. One of these men was Samuel. Apart from Jesus, of course, he was one of the most perfect men in the whole Bible, but he appointed his children as judges over Israel, when they were not judge quality at all! Do you know that that is one of the reasons that you do not see my children here? I would not appoint them to positions in the church. I could have kicked them upstairs. They know more in the gospel than probably anybody else in our midst does. I could kick them upstairs and get them functioning in the things of the Lord. No, Sir! They must come to the standard of holiness and where it is God Who gives them that position.

The other man in the Bible was Eli. God sent a message to Eli, and said, “If you don’t set your sons in order, I am going to kill you and destroy your whole household in one day.” Can you imagine Eli’s response? He said, “Well, you are God…do what you want.”

What a presumption! “Do as you please, God… You are God.” Would you say that? He should have gone down in sackcloth and ashes, calling the elders of Israel concerning his sons, “Arrest them!” That is what he should have done! But the old man had not controlled his emotions when he was a young man, and he could not control them as an old man.

Let us look at Matthew 19:9. Jesus is speaking here to His disciples and says, “And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.I believe that adultery is not the unpardonable sin. I believe you can get forgiveness for adultery, but I also believe that you need to seek forgiveness.

Verse 10, “His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.”

Hear the answer Jesus gave in Verses 11-12, “But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. 12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake.”

Praise be to God! The answer was “eunuchs.” In other words, everybody who is normal, God expects you to be married, have a wife, and walk in holiness at the same time.

God sent Jehu to take vengeance upon the house of Ahab because of the wickedness of Ahab. In 2 Kings 9:30 Jehu comes riding into Jezreel. He looked up and it was the day of judgment for Jezebel. Jehu saw Jezebel, who looked through the window and saw him. He called to the men up there, “Throw her down!” They could not. Jezebel had gone in and painted her face; she put on her war paint, was looking like a doll, came out, and smiled at the men. And they could not throw her down. But, Jehu saw a eunuch up there. Jezebel could not charm the eunuch for the eunuch has no use for Jezebel. Jehu said, “Throw her down!” The eunuch tossed her down like a log!

Don’t you understand what that story means? God wants you to be eunuchs for the kingdom of God’s sake—men and women who cannot be charmed. Men and women who cannot be tempted. Men and women who have gone above temptation, because THEIR MIND is set on Christ!

God help us, in Jesus’ Name.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, July 2000, pg. 42-43)

Thought for today: Let us set our mind on Christ and become eunuchs for the kingdom of God’s sake—men and women who cannot be charmed, who cannot be tempted.
