Scripture reading: 1 Corinthians 15:45-57

This seventh trumpet is going to sound for one thousand years. “When he shall BEGIN to sound” it will be the seventh millennium. And he will be sounding through the whole thousand years of the millennium. All those who are to be resurrected will be resurrected. All those who are to be saved will be saved.

Revelation 10:7, “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

The angel said, “The mystery of God SHOULD BE FINISHED, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.” What did the prophets declare would happen during that seventh millennium?

The first thing that would happen is in 1 Corinthians 15:45-52. “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Jesus Christ) was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural (remember, the order is the natural, the spiritual, then the fullness); and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump (that means at the seventh trumpet): for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

The trumpet” is the Word, the message. “For the trumpet (message) shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible.”

Verses 53-55, “For this corruptible (this wretched thing, this realm in which we are that is exposed to corruption) must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” Do you know where the sting of death is? Verses 56 and 57, “The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The sounding of the seventh trumpet is the sounding of resurrection. The saints will be resurrected when the seventh trumpet is sounded. This trumpet is going to be sounded in the millennium to bring in everlasting peace and to bring in Christ to reign and rule on earth. In our low estate, we have to be caught up out of this realm into a heavenly realm. Remember, “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.” Therefore something has to happen to us.

Let us read in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 what is to happen. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.” If Jesus Christ is coming down, then the glory and the heavenly realm will be coming to earth. He “shall descend from heaven with a shout.” It is a descending. Now when He descends, we will have to ascend spiritually. For if He descends physically and we ascend physically, then we would be going up while He is coming down.

Verse 17, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them (With whom? “With them,” the first batch that shall rise first) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” This does not mean that we are going to be in the air forever with the Lord. This word “air” could not refer to the atmosphere, because the word, in the Greek, aera means the air from sea level to the mountain top. It does not go further than the mountain top. It means we will be caught up out of our carnality, out of our physicalness into spirituality.

As it says, “this corruptible (this thing that is susceptible to corruption) must put on incorruption” and so we will be like Jesus Christ. That means we will have to be changed to be like Him. We will be like Him. “We shall be changed” to be another being than the one we are here. Spirit, soul, and body? Yes, but spirit will overtake soul and soul will overtake body. Jesus, although a physical man roasting fish and eating fish by the seaside after His resurrection, came into a room and said to the brethren, “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have,” Luke 24:39. If anybody thinks we are going to become spirits, let me correct you. We are not going to become spirits, we will be men but we will have a glorified body even like His glorious body.

When will this resurrection of the sons of God take place? Remember, Scripture explains Scripture! If someone explains something to you and there is no Scriptural basis, it is not Scriptural.

Matthew 24:30 and 31, “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his Elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” That is, from one end of the kingdom of God to the other. Verses 32 and 33, “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”

When is this going to happen? Matthew 24:29, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.” Remember, there are three different types of FALLEN STARS. These “stars” are not natural stars, but sons of God who will give their lives and will be resurrected. “The sun be darkened (the gospel of Jesus Christ stopped for a few moments, three and a half days), and the moon shall not give her light (the church will be darkened), and the stars (the sons of God) shall fall from heaven (give their lives).” Revelation 8:1 said, “There was silence in heaven.” If you understand the Word of God, you will be able to join verse to verse.

Scripture reading: Revelation 18:1-4

Let us look at the dispensation that brings us out of Babylon. Let us read about it. Turn to Ephesians 1:9, “Having made known unto us (God) the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself (Christ Jesus).”

What is the will of God for you and for each person? It is that we become exactly like Jesus Christ Himself. Romans 8:29 says, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Now, you do not have to worry about how the caterpillar is going to become a butterfly. The caterpillar doesn’t worry. He just keeps eating. You do not have to worry about how you are going to become like Jesus, because God said that it is His will. It is God’s will that you be like Jesus Christ!

Let us go back to Ephesians 1, “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times…

The dispensation of the “fullness of times” is the seventh millennium. We are now in the seventh millennium. It is in this millennium that the “fullness” of Christ must come forth! Amen!

I was just encouraging a sister a while ago. I said, “Do not go off to college and go into some long four, five, six, or seven year program at this time, because it will not have any use to you in the kingdom. Your college degree will not have any use in the kingdom. It will be child’s play, and as far as the kingdom goes, it will be petty knowledge; and some of it will be spurious and wrong knowledge.” Amen! Now, I am not going against education. But at this particular time, there is no time. Young people, there is no time! If you need to find something so that you can earn a living for the time being, then go get something that is quick. I said to the sister, “Go get an eighteen month course, or other short course that can help you to know something and earn some money and do something at this time. But don’t you go into any long program, because, for instance, after a person takes seven years to go into medicine to become a doctor, it is going to take you another twenty years before you justify your seven years of labor. You do not have the time!” We don’t have that time! We are through! Time has come to an end. We are through, brethren, it is the end!

Many do not believe. Yes! But God said that those who do not believe will be in the darkness and will suffer the penalties of Babylon. The penalties and the suffering that Babylon is going through, you are going to go through, too. Amen!

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4).

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, December 2003, pg. 16-18)

Thought for today: Let us not fall amongst those who do not believe and who will suffer the penalties of Babylon. Let us be believing people who are preparing themselves for the coming of the Lord.

Scripture reading: Revelation 12:7-11

In every type of warfare, in order to be effective and to win, one must know the enemy. There are two basic tricks that Satan plays on humanity:

1.  He appeals to the carnal mind to deny his existence and hides his work to convince the carnal mind that it is just natural and sometimes coincidental. He did it to Eve, and tried it with Jesus.

2.  He intimidates some, convincing them of the greatness of his prowess.

The time has come as never before in the history of mankind for the saints to fight and to overcome the devil. In the heat of the battle, when one is oppressed with all manner of circumstances and what seems to be coincidences, one is apt to think, “Why me?” When, however, we understand the nature of the battle, we will rejoice at the wonderful implications which it portends.

The first glorious implication that we will deal with in the passage of scripture from Revelation 12 is that portion where it is written, “…neither was their place found any more in heaven.” If we rightly assume that the word “heaven” in this rendition is speaking of the kingdom of God and that this dimension of the kingdom is referring to the kingdom within us (Ref. Luke 17:21), then this verse would be saying that Satan and his angels had a place in us, but that at some time in the history of the Church they will lose that place.  If then, time is so far spent that we are at the end of the sixth day and within a few short years the seventh day or seventh millennium must dawn, then it is now time for us to be totally delivered from every evil spirit of darkness.

In order to achieve this, there must be a travail (Revelation 12:2). The travail of the Church is the war that we are experiencing at this time. The only pattern that this attack has is that it is satanic. The war has no boundaries, nor venue. The enemy is using every element, every devil, and every person who can be used against us. The war is total. Every weakness, which in time past was permitted to lodge within us and had a place in us, is being exploited and there is no place to hide. The families are under attack as never before. The children are under attack as never before. The husbands who could hide their weakness behind the skirts of their wives are being exposed and the wives who were hiding behind the masculinity of their husbands are being exposed. Our only hiding place now is in Christ.

Sin has lost its hiding place in us. Only true repentance will set us free from imbibed or besetting sin, for now is the time when the fullness of salvation shall come to us.

(Excerpt from The Omega Message, December 1991, pg. 1-2)

Thought for today: Let us fall before the Lord and repent before Him from every sin which doth so easily beset us so that we may find our hiding place in Christ.
