Scripture reading: Colossians 1:13-16
Today, I want you to understand one important thing: God is Almighty for me, but He is not Almighty for the enemy that is coming against me. The enemy still looks down on you and says, “I can beat that thing called man.” You see, God has to use you to teach the principalities and powers of hell Who God is.
Colossians 1:13-16 says, Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.
We see that this scripture tells us about principalities and powers being created by Him. Yes. Let us read in Ephesians 3:9-10, And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.
The word “church” in this passage signifies the church militant. In other words, we as living people are teaching their princes and all of their areas of influence the manifold wisdom of God. Let’s see if we can analyze that a little bit. For instance, when we gather together in His name, the place is more than full because there are more gathered with us than what we see in the natural. They have ways of seeing us and hearing us, although they can’t be contained in this little building. So then all the people who have passed on and gone to the heavenlies are listening to the revelation that God gives us here now in the church. Those who are in hell are studying us to see how they can get at us. So the people to whom God is giving revelation and who are walking in truth become a target for hell and become a school for those who are in the heavenlies. Can you imagine a man who never knew God and died but on his deathbed he called upon the Lord and was saved? Where do you think he is going to learn about God? The Bible says, “from the church” and “the angels desire also to look into it” (Ephesians 3:10, I Peter 1:12). The angels are learning from us. Paul, in speaking to the brethren, said that you must be careful how you walk and how you talk and how you live, because the heavenly host is watching you.

Thought for today: Remember, in every situation you find yourself in, you are teaching the princes and all of their areas of influence the manifold wisdom of God.
