Scripture reading: Revelation 13:18

VICTORY OVER HIS MARK:

The mark of the beast is in the forehead or in the hand. A mark in the forehead speaks of the mind being taken over, and a mark in the hand speaks of committed works. Those who have the mark of the beast cannot be saved, because they have committed the unpardonable sin of blaspheme (rejecting the Holy Ghost for the last time). When the word speaks of the mark of the beast, it is taken by a person; it means that that individual would never accept Christ in time or in eternity. Judas sold Jesus, but he did not go to hell for that. He committed the unpardonable sin. He received the goodness of God, then rejected it and with it he rejected God and His Christ. He had his second chance when Christ preached to the spirits in prison, but Jesus tells us that he was lost, therefore he must be still in hell. The mark of the beast is a permanent disfigurement of the soul into a demon creature which has no desire for God.

VICTORY OVER THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME:

In Revelation 13:18 we are told that the number of the name of the beast is 666. In Scripture all figures are symbolic and this one is no exception. From ancient times man had come to regard numbers as having specific meanings. It is God who first applied meanings to figures and numbers to letters. For instance, the Hebrew “Alpha” is not only the first letter “A” but the figure 1. It became to be a symbol of God who is One God, the First and the Last. The number six in the same way is the number for man. Everything that began in Genesis must come to its full measure in Revelation. In Genesis the devil was shown as a serpent with one head. In Revelation he is a dragon with seven heads – his fullness – he and his kingdom. The fallen man is shown in Genesis and the completed man is shown in Revelation 12, also the fallen woman and the completed woman. Symbolically when a number is repeated three times it shows that that number has come to its fullness. The number 666 therefore, is the fullness of 6. Now in the end of time everything must come to its fullness and must have its full manifestation.

God is helping us today to have the victory within, for without this we are losers.

Thought for today: Let us press into God and submit to His guidance so that we may have the victory within and not be losers.

Scripture reading: Psalm 139:23-24

Matthew 25:6, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” Let me tell you a little bit about midnight. Moses knew when it was going to be midnight. The children of Israel knew exactly what time it was; they were told what to do. It was very easy for them to have the lamb prepared, eat the meat with their waist girded and their bags packed, and ready to go at midnight. Amen. There was midnight when Jesus Christ ate the Passover with the brethren, and they knew exactly when midnight was going to be. But in the fullness of the word “midnight,” we do not know when midnight will be. It is only the Spirit of the living God in us that is telling us when midnight will be. We know we are pretty close. Very, very close to it. I would say we are close in just a few years, and yet I can be wrong, for I never thought that the war would have started from now. That means that midnight can come anytime according to God’s calendar. At midnight, the world will face annihilation. We, the people of God, will be called upon to have our lamps burning bright as the five wise virgins; for I believe that there are more souls that are going to be saved in the destruction than at any other time.

We are living in the end of time, time when God says, “You must begin to look about your lamp and your vessel. Make sure your lamp is bright, for it is only this way that you will be delivered.” There are three types of people: Those who take the mark of the beast, those who take the mark of God, and those who are killed. If God wants to save you and you will not take the mark of the Holy Spirit in your forehead, in your mind, so that you can resist the mark of the beast, in order to deliver you from the mark of the beast, what would God do? He will allow you to be killed, to be saved. That is what He did with the people in the flood, at the time of Noah. The Bible says, in the time of the flood they all drowned, only eight people were saved. Yet, the Bible tells us that when Jesus Christ went down to hell, He brought out people from the flood who were to be saved, who heard His voice. They heard the message from Noah, but they didn’t pay heed, and got killed, but they were saved (1 Peter 3:20).

So, God is telling us something. People, search your soul! For God’s sake, brethren, search your soul, stop searching other peoples’ souls, but search your own soul, and say, “See if there be any wicked way in me. Cleanse me, Lord.” Look into your emotions; look at what your emotions are doing. I don’t need to name it out, but the emotions are leading some of you into dark areas. Look at your emotions, and say to your emotions, “I don’t like that feeling. I don’t like how I felt.” Oh, yes! “I don’t like the temptation that I had when I was talking to that sister, or to that brother.” Nobody knows. You and God know it. “I don’t like that temptation.” Go to God with it secretly and say, “Deliver me, oh, Lord God, for in Thee do I put my trust. Let me never be confounded or put to shame.” Hallelujah.

We look around and see the stars falling and yet, we do not know that it is the Bible coming to pass. We see the ministers which are the stars, falling. I read of different ministers, some arrested for being adulterers, some pedophiles. They are falling everywhere. The stars are falling. When you see all that around you, say, “Oh God, preserve me, for in Thee do I put my trust. Let me not be confounded or put to shame.”

Scripture reading: Romans 8:1-9

In the natural we think of high heights as being above our heads, going up. In the spiritual, height still means above our heads, but above humanity, going up from humanity. We are in a zone between Heaven and hell, between light and darkness. We are the only creatures who are in this realm. We have the privilege of going up into light, brighter, brighter, brighter, brighter or going down into darkness, darker, darker, darker, darker. One time God gave me a word that we are in a twilight zone. We are in a zone where humanity can become devils. You can go so low that you become a devil, and you can get so high that you become an angel of God. I don’t need to preach to you to tell you that you can see that some men have already received the “mark of the beast.” God made man spirit, soul and body. The spirit connects you with God’s Spirit, so it is pulling you up. The soul is in the middle, and the spirit is connected to the soul, but the soul lives in a body, and the body is connected to the earth. So while one is pulling down, the other is pulling up. Every human being is in a position to choose whether he wants to go down or up. The mark of the beast is when one deliberately goes down eradicating their God conscience.

So, in my understanding, when I talk about the “rapture,” I am talking about getting higher with God, and getting so high with Him that you get out of the natural and into the spiritual completely, like where Jesus Christ was. He said, “…the Son of man which is in Heaven” (John 3:13b). You can experience Heaven right here. Hallelujah! Or, you can experience hell. You come into a meeting and the meeting is either “low down” flat on the ground, or you see it rising, rising, rising, rising, and coming up to a level that your mind is compassed with heavenly things, rather than with earthly things. Amen.

God took a nation, a people, and it is not because this people were better than other people, or more numerous than others, but God chose this people, and you cannot quarrel with God. So when God chooses you, you have nothing to say about it. It is not because you are any good thing that God chooses you. “I am pretty and God chose me because of my beauty.” Nothing of the kind. God chooses you because God chooses you, and there is nobody, nothing that can give an answer or a reason why God chose the Jews EXCEPT that He chose one man, and that man was very faithful. They called him the “Father of the faithful” and he became the father of a nation of people. That nation of people affected the whole earth, so that, whereas the earth was going down-down-down into hell, that nation begin to give principles and they began to rise up.

Now, the difference between a beast and a man is that your spirit is subject to God’s Spirit. It has a pull on you, and your soul is attached to your spirit. There is a love and a binding, a marriage, yet to be consummated between your spirit and your soul because there is a third man coming in and this third person is the body; and the body wants to marry the soul. But God said to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life (Romans 8:6). So a tug-of-war goes on and any side that you go on, that is the side that is going to win. If you become carnal, you are going down. If you remain spiritual, you are going up.
