Omega Message – October 1983

Psalm 15:1 “Lord, who shall abide in the tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?”
(7) In whose eyes a vile person is contemned (Ps. 15:4a):
The world of the 1980’s has almost completely reversed the human concept of right and wrong. The only true basis of what is right and what is wrong is the accepting of God as the paragon and Jesus Christ as the “Plumbline”.
Isaiah 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Darkness is covering the land and gross darkness is taking hold upon the people.
The meaning of the word “contemned” is to disdain or to be contemptible. The Word of God is saying here that we should not esteem those who are evil. The Christian conscience that has been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ; abhors evil and does not allow us any kind of pleasure in those who are evil both by their actions; or by their life style. On the other hand we find and increasing number of those who profess to be ‘born again’, freely fraternize with those who are living and fostering an evil and ungodly way of life.
If I should ask my readers, – What is the greatest evil of today that is called good? – I am sure I would receive a multitude of good answers, but most of us would either be afraid to even think of the truth, or if we do, we would shy from the expression of it. The greatest force fro good in the world is the CHURCH. There is no doubt about it that God called out a people in Jesus Christ to come out of the world and the things of the world and to be part of His kingdom on the earth. This people are to eventually deliver the earth from all its evil and in the end the “earth will be filled with the glory of God as the waters cover the sea….” BUT if this people, who are the called out of God, who accept the name and the right to be called CHURCH, but refuse to come out of the ways, deeds and thinking of the world, thus looking like the kingdom of god on the outward, but speaking like the world from the inward, then this people would be evil parading as good, darkness parading as light, and bitter showing itself as sweet.
There is such a mixture in our present day church system that unless one sees from the eyes of God, it would be almost impossible to discern good from evil. Let me give an example: It is a good thing to win souls, but if I went out to win souls because I desired to get a congregation to rule over, then my winning of souls would not be good but totally evil.
The thinking of the majority of the Christians of today is that Christians should go into politics to make better representation for the church, and eventually to rule the world through the political forum. The Scriptures state that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, natural; it also states that we wrestle not against flesh and blood – nevertheless many of the more prominent radio and television preachers, who reach many millions of people all over the world, are fostering this idea of Christians entering into politics, in order to make the world better. Politics will not change the world, only God can, and He will not use politics to do it.
Recently a Senator was reprimanded by the Senate of the United States for soliciting a male page. He returned to his home town and his constituency and was pleasantly surprised at the reception he received from his people who were not all homosexuals. The frightening thing about people not abhorring those who are evil, is that they are doing the opposite, they are actually lauding them. He stated how relieved he was to be at last able to ‘come out of the cupboard.’
Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind THAT ye may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”
Paul in his letter to Timothy (II Tim. 3:3) speaking in the Spirit about the signs of the Last days, says men would be “despisers of them that are good.”
A brother in Nebraska was sent to prison for refusing to close down a day school in his church for kids, while the Courts allow very explicit and pornographic shows to come on television daily, and legalize abortion, which in effect is nothing more or less than the killing of unborn babies. Even shows which are considered as being primarily made for children are loaded with unacceptable adult material. I believe this is the direct result of despising the things which are good, it is inevitable that they must accept evil.
Many of the churches are accepting homosexuals and believing the lie that their life-style is ordained of God, thus they are ordaining homosexual ministers and in effect putting their stamp of approval upon this ABOMINATION. ‘Romans 1:27 states that they would receive in their bodies “the recompense of their error,” which would fit the crime.’ We see this scripture being fulfilled today in the epidemic of AIDES which is basically a homosexual disease.
In conclusion of this heading let me quote from Isaiah 7:15 & 22:
7:15 “And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give, he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall everyone eat that is left in the land.”
7:22 “Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the EVIL, and choose the GOOD.”
Butter and honey represent the pure unadulterated WORD of GOD. The people’s taste is being confused between bitter and sweet, but God has promised that those who desire to know the truth will know it by Divine intervention.
(8) But he honoreth them that fear the Lord:
We should not forget to honor those in our midst who fear the Lord. The example we get every day from the brethren is not honor to those who fear the Lord; but honor to those who can put out a “Best seller” no matter how they received their material; honor to those who are the most successful business men, honor to those who give the best offering – you can get on the honor roll of most organizations by giving a certain amount of money. I have been excommunicated from many groups and churches for speaking exactly what the Lord told me to say, while the same groups and churches accept preachers who are making up their own sermons, but speaking more pleasant words.
Some of our ministers and churches who know the blessing of receiving the Holy Spirit Baptism are turning back to Rome and wantonly addressing members of the Roman Catholic Church as “Catholic Brethren”, and in turn the Catholic Church is calling those who once were the accursed Protestants, “Separated Brethren.”
Let us honor the brethren who live clean and give a good example to others. Let us honor true eldership, not those who boss it over us but those who set a good example for us to follow and walk humbly before the Lord. Let us not honor others because God is using them, but let us honor them because they are showing forth Christ in their lives. Let us honor the wives who work faithfully in the home and in the church for the love of Christ.
LET US HONOR all men and women who fear God not usurping Christ in the congregations of the saints; Let us honor them for they are few who do not seek their own honor, and command men to call them by unscriptural titles which God calls names of Blaspheme.
(9) He that sweareth to his own hurt and changeth not:
In the Judges, Jephthah a Judge of Israel swore to God to give as an offering the first thing that met him on his return from a victorious battle. His beloved and only daughter met him and he had to give her to the Lord.
His character was under severe testing. He did not flinch or say Lord I did not mean this. He just turned her over to God, and since we know that God does not accept human sacrifice then this scripture could only mean that she was given to God as a bond servant of the temple for the rest of her life.
Numbers 30:2 “If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.”
When one reads a law as the above, the first thought which comes is, what relationship does this have to us and our time/The Scripture says that the law was a school-master to bring us unto Christ. When therefore we come to Christ we do not destroy the Law, through Christ in me I will not become a Covenant Breaker. My vows at Baptism – that I will follow the Lord in death, burial and resurrection, are kept by the Power of the Holy Ghost.
Paul describes “Covenant Breakers” as one of the signs of the End Time and in our time we have seen some of the greatest examples of Covenant Breakers – Hitler for instance, signed a non-aggression pact with Russia while he was preparing to attack them. More recently Russia signed a S.A.L.T. treaty with the West and has broken almost every line of it. Nearer to home – husbands and wives make matrimonial vows to one another and break them in record numbers all over the world today.
Let us return unto the Lord, to our vows of Salvation, our vows of Baptism, and our Vows to follow the Lord wherever He goes. Let us recommit ourselves to our families and to the family of God.
(10) He that does not put out his money to usury:
The question that is being asked is, Is it putting my money out to usury if I deposit it in a Bank and receive interest?
In Matthew 25:27 in the Parable of the Talents, Jesus said to the servant who buried his talent, “Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received usury.” Here Jesus was giving a parable which must show a true picture of the heavenly position. The word for the Exchangers could correctly be translated Bankers and the word for usury just means interest.
We can see therefore, that the Law properly interpreted would refer to the using of money to oppress others with excessive interest, more than saying you should not put your money into the Bank and receive interest.
The letter of the law will bring death, it is the spirit of what God is saying that brings life.
(11) Nor taketh reward against the innocent:
This is actually a Word of God against BRIBERY which is also illegal in the United States.
Exodus 23:8 “And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.”
One does not feel the evil force of a bribe until you become the victim of a bribe. As an officer of the courts I was once involved in a case where a man committed murder and was set free because the jury was bribed. In this case those who receive the bribe became murderers after the fact.
When we apply this to the Spirit, the bribe does not have to be money or for that matter anything material, but if we pervert justice through friendship or love of praise etc. we become guilty equally with the guilty and partake of his judgment, and nobody escapes the judgments of God, no matter how long it takes.
The conclusion of this chapter says: “He that doeth these things shall never be moved.”
The picture this scripture suggests is that one who lives according to all the above will have God as a firm foundation and will never be moved by the Mover but will stand when others fall.
