Omega Message – June 1987
Cecil J. duCille
Time seems to go in cycles. The sun rises every morning and sets at night; seasons come and go and then come again; time repeats itself. Could it be possible that in the spiritual realms there is also a cycle of activities which repeat themselves?
Let’s examine, even casually, the record of this repetition from the Bible. The first fact to be noted is that of all the commands and permissions which God gives to spirits and men alike as recorded in the Bible, I have not found one instance where He has rescinded the orders, but rather it seems that these orders became laws which continue to work through all the ages, thus any word given at one time could be applied to another dispensation along with the dispensational truth which governs its specific application.
Isaiah 55:
55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
55:9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
55:10 “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
55:11 “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
The word says, “…it shall accomplish that which I please..”
Nothing but perfection pleases God, therefore when He speaks a word it must accomplish and accomplish until it accomplishes the perfection of every thought of God, expressed or implied.
Let us look at the words of God to Noah and how those words remain true to us. Every day they seem to speak to us with even more clarity than they spoke to Noah, but they never seem to die.
Gen. 6:3 “…….My Spirit shall not always strive with man for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.”
The next verse will read as the foretelling of the future. It is as if we are looking into a mirror and seeing the future of our planet:
Gen. 6:11-13 “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted His way upon the earth. And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
Man had corrupted the way of the Lord, and therefore they were given to violence. Mixing the thoughts and words of God with our thoughts and words, is corruption. Corruption produces violence; Violence brings down the judgment of God. The violence in the time of Noah had reached to a point of fullness. They were, by violence, about to change the plan of God for the earth. By violence they had destroyed the righteous people from the earth, and only Noah and his family were left; eight persons. The righteous generation from which Jesus the Messiah was to be born, began with Adam and then skipped to Seth. If God had not intervened in the way He did, then Noah and his sons and wives would soon have been killed and the righteous people would disappear from the earth, giving sin and sinfulness the ascendancy over righteousness.
It was the same situation in the building of the Tower of Babel; when God had to intervene to stop man discovering space so early in his history. The aim of Nimrod and the people was stated:
“Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven;” Genesis 11:4.
God’s reply to this ambitious thought was astounding, in that He said they would accomplish it if they remained united, so he divided them with different languages.
If because of the violence of the time of Noah, God had to intervene to change the course of history, then it would seem that we are facing the same situation now. Violence has increased hundreds of times over since Noah, and God will be forced to intervene when it threatens to destroy His people, and His world. Man now has the capability to obliterate life from this planet, therefore just before he exercises this power, on the insistence of Satan, God will intervene drastically to save our planet.
The Third Intervention of God:
In the history of the world, this will mark the third time that God had to intervene to save the world from destruction. For God, three times carry with it a sense of finality. The third time always brings the action of God to its perfection.
The first occasion we have already dealt with, which is the occasion of Noah’s ark and the preservation of life on earth from the flood. The second occasion was in the Coming of Jesus Christ as a babe in a manger, with God as His Father; transporting the power and presence of the Almighty down to the human dimension. Humanity was drained of life, deteriorated, absolutely lost and without hope. There was nothing in the human realm which could rescue us from absolute degradation and total alienation from our Maker. Human nature having taken over every area of our existence, would have plunged us and our world into the abyss long ago, and the dark ages would have persisted to a midnight without hope, BUT THE LIGHT SHINED IN THE DARKNESS, AND THE DARKNESS COULD NOT OVERCOME IT.
Jesus Christ, the light and life of God, at first appeared as stated in Genesis 1:3 – “…Let there be light: and there was Light,” and the light was “…the life of men.” John 1:4. This light was not the natural light, since the SUN WAS NOT MADE UNTIL VERSE 14. Natural light could not drive “The Abyss” or in other words, “the bottomless pit”, or for short, hell, back into another realm to make the earth habitable. JESUS CHRIST THE CREATOR DID. Once the earth was made habitable for man, the words, “LET THERE BE LIGHT,” continued to have the preeminence over darkness in our realm.
JESUS CHRIST THE LIGHT came again in a human body and saved the earth for the second time. This time however He came to deliver the goods to man, so that we could, by our own free will, operate in the light and receive the light; then we become the light. Pure light is awesome in its power, but God created us to be beings of light and not of darkness, therefore as the soul opens up to light, we become what we behold steadfastly.
THE THIRD RESCUE THEREFORE IS THE RESCUE OF HUMANITY BY GOD IN CHRIST FROM OUR HUMANNESS TO HIS GODLIKENESS:
The parallel of this rescue of humanity is found in the story of the rescue of the children of Israel from Egypt. It was not humanly possible for any existing human force on earth to deliver the slaves of Egypt from Pharaoh. At that time in the history of the world, Egypt was the greatest world power whose armies had virtually subdued all of the known world.
Moses was an ex-prince of Egypt who for forty years had learned the trade of the shepherd. Nevertheless Egypt had no reason to believe that one of their ex-warriors could even challenge their right over Jewish slaves. History must therefore submit to the truth that it was only the power of God that could have, and did deliver Israel from the power of Egypt.
The Ten Plagues:
Exodus 30:19 “And I am sure that the king of Egypt wilt not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
30:20 “And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.”
Today I do not know how many plagues are gone and how many are to follow, but this I know, the plagues are revisiting the earth so that earth, earthiness, sin, carnality and wicked men might let God’s people go.
The plague of Cancer is upon us. There is hardly a family that has not been hit by this plague. It seems however that every plague is worse than the preceding one, for, although we have not yet found a cure for cancer, in some instances it is being contained.
On the other hand AIDS, is upon us with far more frightening prospects than cancer ever had. A cure for this deadly disease is not only elusive, but at present impossible, since it is not possible to detect the disease in its early stages, while the victim will be innocently inoculating a wife or a husband, or if sinful, some other partner. The partners of fornication, adultery, homosexuality and illegal drug use have become partners of death. On top of all this the general population of the world is threatened with accidentally contaminated blood, contaminated food, contaminated water, and from AIDS terrorism through those who, like the fictional “Dracula” will seek their prey wherever they can find them. One man was charged in Miami with attempted murder, because he sought to contaminate a police officer who was arresting him, by biting him. The terror is growing daily. To date seven persons in Miami have committed suicide after being diagnosed of having AIDS related infection.
The question many are asking is, Did God send AIDS upon the people as he sent the plagues upon Egypt? The correct answer is NO! He did not have to.
God created a machine called NATURE which exacts its own judgment upon transgressors. If one jumps off a cliff, the judgment would be swift and merciless – gravity would take him down. The laws of nature cannot be ignored since we live in a natural world. The Creator of the human body gives us certain rules by which we must care for the body in order to preserve it. When we break the rules, the body will break down. God warned us of diseases as AIDS in the scriptures – i.e.
Romans 1:24 “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
1:25 “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
1:26 “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:”
1:27 “and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lusts one towards another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves the recompence of their error which was meet.”
From this passage we can see the AIDS is a natural result of certain misuse of the body. The scientists are saying that the thing originated with the green monkeys in Africa, possibly some man must have got to them. They will do anything to escape from responsibility for their evil acts. The Bible however, clearly states that there would be these sexual diseases which would come from man and man as well as some will also come from woman and woman. THESE ARE DEFINITELY THE JUDGMENTS OF NATURE. Anyone should know that mixing the blood-stream with bacteria from the human elimination system would cause death. It is like mixing the sewerage with the drinking water.
God warned mankind against, not just homosexuality but against promiscuity and sexual multi-partnerships. The word “porni” translated in the scripture as “fornication” actually embraces all manner of sexual perversions which Christ himself spoke against.
Many Mighty Men of sin will fade away and die, as we have seen in Hollywood and elsewhere, but Nature has given notice that the modern day human is a deteriorated specie of Adam, and the barriers of biological fortitude are giving way under the pressure of human transgression.
The Egyptian Parallel:
The death of the Firstborn of Egypt was the last plague before Pharaoh let the Israelites go. At that time I imagine there were some favored Israelites who were enjoying the stay in Egypt and would have been happy if God would have taken away the throne of Egypt and given it to them, rather than saying – “Leave Egypt.” This situation parallels the Christians of our time, feeling that we should go into politics and especially sending a man up for the 1988 Presidential Election in the United States. This trend is persisting all over the world. I notice that in Africa Christians are talking about taking over certain countries, and are citing Bible characters to prove their godly intent. Christians should keep out of politics. Politics has to do with man’s leadership; and Christianity with God’s leadership. Man’s leadership is leading the world into chaos and annihilation, but God is setting up His Government in the hearts of His people and at the appropriate time will activate them to save the earth.
We have seen so many plagues in our time that we do not really know for sure at what state of the tribulation we are, except that it is very near to the end. At the end the very cream of humanity; the firstborn (best) of the carnal world will be killed in order to save the firstborn of God. We believe that the AIDS epidemic is one of the last plagues which will begin to kill the firstborn. In Egypt when the word got to Pharaoh that a “deliverer” should be born to deliver the Israelites from slavery, Pharaoh decided to take no chances, so he killed all the babies of a certain age for the purpose of destroying this child. The child escaped and was nurtured and brought up by him, and in process of time would have been the next Pharaoh of Egypt. This however is not God’s plan.
The Throne of Egypt can never become the throne of God.
We had better learn to say and believe that “Our Kingdom is not of this world.”
The first plan which Pharaoh tried was the plan of ABORTION. It failed because the Jewish midwives (which were the obstetricians of that day) refused to abort the babies.
This whole scenario was repeated when Jesus was born: Herod tried to kill the babe Jesus by killing all the babies of a certain age, but God thwarted his plan, and again Jesus, the king of the Jews whom he wanted to kill escaped.
Abortion Hysteria:
History must repeat itself the third and final time, and again we see the ABORTION HYSTERIA taking a hold of the modern world, the doctors and the women. Millions of babies are being now killed, but true to pattern that company of people who are being trained of God to defeat the devil by rejecting him utterly, will escape and survive to finish him and abolish evil from our planet.
Is There Any Escape From Aids?
Since it has been spread to every segment of the population, and it is now possible to receive it from dentists, from doctors, from cooks, from husbands, from wives, from the guilty and from the innocent, it is a global plague, without a foreseeable future cure. The terror of its shadow is cast over the whole population and it is time for the Christian people to begin to think of where we stand in all this. God gives His people DIVINE HEALTH, but because He knew we would miss it, sometimes He has provided DIVINE HEALING. The Scripture states that,
Luke 21:28 “When ye shall see these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh.”
This scripture is telling us to look to God. Another scripture says;
Matthew 24:15 “…flee to the mountains.”
I am going to make a very astounding statement, and I am sorry if you find it impossible to believe, but the unbelief of some of my readers would not disturb the truth. There is a cure for AIDS, and it is the only one I know. We had a case where a young man was dying of AIDS who was instantly cured by prayer and the laying on of hands. He had contracted aids through a homosexual relationship, and was diagnosed for aids by a doctor. With fever of 1040 he was close to death. He called for prayers, repented of his sins, and immediately God touched him and healed him. He felt an immediate cooling, it was a miracle. Since God is willing to heal those who have AIDS and will repent, then He will be also willing to protect us from accidentally receiving this deadly disease.
How Shall We Escape?
In Egypt the Israelites escaped through obedience and the blood of the lamb.
We will escape through obedience and the Blood of the Lamb.
They were told to remain indoors and that the blood should be daubed upon the door posts and lintels. They were not singled out for deliverance through favor, but through obedience. If a firstborn of Israel had disobeyed orders and was found outside at midnight, he would be killed just as the Egyptian. If an Egyptian who was under the sentence of death should get under the blood in the house of the Israelite, he would be spared. God who devised this plan as a type of our time is still offering deliverance for all, sinner and Christian alike, through obedience and the Blood of the Lamb.
The parallel today is that the blood should not as the Israelites be on our door posts, but on the doorposts of our hearts.
Many say they have it and they don’t. It became popular some time ago for politicians and others to say they are “born again,” but the acid test of whether or not we are is upon us.
Come Up Higher:
Those who are of God are being prompted of the Holy Spirit to come up higher, and those who do not, will not, or cannot, will be left in the Outer Court which is the place of death, to either seal their testimonies with their blood or die with the world. There is a place of safety, but unlike the teachings of many, it is not any particular spot in the world, as in the case of the Israelites in Egypt, but a spiritual place in God, which Jesus said He had gone to prepare for us, where we can hear His voice and “….abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” This of course would include any place where the Spirit directs us to be at any particular time.
Deliverance From Aids:
Not only from AIDS but from every device of the enemy against our lives, God wants a people who will hear His voice daily, in their eating, in their daily chores, and in every sleeping or waking moment. If we go to the store to buy our food and the Lord impresses us not to buy this or that, we must be sensitive enough to be able to respond. Where we go, what we eat and drink should be directed of God moment by moment.
This is what is meant by getting up higher. Higher is closer to God, and closer to God means that we are hearing Him and obeying His every command.
God’s perfect will for us is health. I believe that by faith in Jesus Christ and His promises, we can be delivered from every form of illness, and that includes AIDS. We have so far had this experience with almost every known disease to man including AIDS. The question however, in the minds of my readers would be that many times prayers are offered up for many illnesses and we do not receive healing. In opposition to this, we know that every prayer to God is answered. The problem must then be with us and the prayers we pray, as also the recognition of the answers. Immediately we pray to God, He dispatches an answer to us. If we did not believe, or prayed amiss, then we would not receive the answer we expected. Many times we pray, we have preconceived ideas of what we want and how we want it. This puts God into the narrow confines of our thinking. For instance, one sister prayed for the healing and life of her husband. God healed him and gave him life by the only means He could. He took him home to Glory. We pray from a position of not knowing much; God answers from a position of knowing all things including the future. A defaulter is arrested after causing much trouble and pain to others; we his family and friends pray to God to release him; but God knows that if He releases him tomorrow or next week he will destroy the life of another individual; so God answers our prayers by keeping him in prison. The believer must believe that God answers his prayers. Praise God, I have no unanswered prayers. Do you?
May God richly bless you all. Amen.
