Omega Message – April 1992
Tom Campbell
…Can I say one other thing? It must have been a week ago that Brother Mark Jantzi from New York called me late in the evening.
They have been having some most unusual meetings there. What I mean by meetings, is prayer and waiting on God. For some time now, they have been setting aside times apart from their regular meetings for special gatherings where they have not been having the regular order of service. They have been gathering, in fact, in the homes and not so much in the building. He told me that they gathered together with prayer and fastings.
They have been doing this on a regular basis, and God began to speak to them about the devastation that was coming, and that judgment was coming so swiftly. During the time that this word was coming to them, the Lord gave Mark a vision of a coach.
He said that he did not know if it was a train, or what kind of vehicle it was. He saw it from a distance, and at first, he thought it was like an old stagecoach. But he saw it was larger than that, and it had no horses. It was in clear view of all.
It was on a very narrow road. He said along the sides of the road were many different people. He said there was a man with his family and they were playing in the grass. They were just enjoying the pleasures of this life.
Then Mark began to see that the coach was now moving. He saw it coming (He just kind of glanced out of the side of his eye), and it dawned on him that this was the “presence of God.” The most powerful thing in this vision was the “glory” that was in that coach. He could see faces through the windows of the coach, but they were indistinct. So he knew that there were people in the coach, and there was such a glory in that coach. It was in sight of every man, and every one of them could have gotten on. However, when it started moving, the doors closed and they were not able to get on. He knew that this was the chariot of the Lord, and that he needed to be on it.
(He saw a man running after it, but he could not catch it. It would not stop or slow down for any man). He said that there was a woman who actually stood out in the road, and put her hand up for it to stop. She had anger on her face, and she seemed to disagree with how it was going. She wanted to stop or direct it. But it would not stop, and he said that it rolled right over her, and it kept right on going.
He said the interpretation he received was that “This is the visitation of God, and that this is the time right now that God is in us.” And he said that “It shall be swiftly. He shall come swiftly, suddenly to His temple.”
I believe this is all dovetailing, and bearing witness that this year, especially 1992, if we ever, ever presented ourselves and submitted ourselves to God—Do it now! Do it now! Let us not miss the day of our visitation!
In fact, the way Mark was telling me of the way God was moving in their midst, I said that this sounds very familiar to when God began to move in our midst many years ago. It started with repentance, and from repentance it went into a time of worship and of praise; and then a time of God dealing with us about our dead works. I said, “I feel there is the makings of it right now.”
He said, “Brother Campbell, I would not call you this late at night, but it is something very unusual that is happening.” I said, “I believe it, and I think that if I were you, I would continue to meet with God on that basis. Even if it does not mean coming together with the order of service that we have had, but just waiting on God. I believe God wants to bring something for us—in us, in the Body of Christ.”
I do not think it is just segregated to just Mark Jantzi. I think that what God is doing, He is doing it simultaneously throughout the whole world! It is all-inclusive. Oh, praise the Lord! Can you sing praise to the Lord? Thank you. Amen.
