Omega Message – May 2001

Father, we thank You for Your presence with us all week, in a way Lord God, that You make our souls pant, hungering for the Living Bread. Oh God, we hunger and thirst after Thee, “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O god. My soul cries out for God, for the living god.” Nothing else will satisfy!
Let it be, oh Father, that we speak nothing else but that which is from Thine Own heart; that we bring no other impression to Your people but the impressions of heaven!
Lord God, You said that a broken and contrite heart You will not despise, and as we come before You we feel broken. We feel so small, Lord God! When we consider the heavens, the work of Thy hands—the moon and the stars and all that Thou has made—we say to ourselves,
“WHAT IS MAN that Thou art mindful of him, and the son of man that Thou visitest him? For Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and Thou hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of Thy hands. Thou hast put ALL things under his feet! Sheep and oxen, beasts of the field, the fowl of the air.”[1]
Every demon, every devil, is under the foot of man! Lord God, You have given us the power over the power of the enemy![2] Amen!
So, at this moment, we ask, dear Lord god, that You would wipe the slate clean for us. Forgive every sin, Lord God! Every transgression, everything that we have done, thought, or hoped that is contrary to Thee. Lord God, clean our ears and the ears of our hearts that we might hear Your voice; and break the bread of life to us tonight.
Lord God, help us to forgive one another. When we sing that we love Jesus, help us to understand that if we do not love our fellow man, we do not love Jesus.
Lord God, into Your hands we commit ourselves. We do not know what we should say or what we should do, but we are depending upon Your anointing to bring forth the Word. In the Name of Jesus. Amen. Thank you Jesus.
We have been hearing a word from the Lord, a word for the very end of the matter, a word for this millennium. It has been coming, and coming and coming; and the strength of it has made one feel very small, and that we are not capable or able to bring forth that which the Lord is speaking.
There are few things that are very important. We are at the most momentous time in the history of the world and in the history of the Church, and at this time the Church must play a part to save the world. Without the Church, the world will die within this decade.
We have no other hope, but then the peculiar part is that the world does not know that the world has no hope. The world is preparing for an explosion of knowledge, and great things are happening. They have just completed mapping out the whole DNA blueprint of the human being. That means to say, these little things in your body that God made which you cannot see with the natural eyes (that control the color of your eyes and everything), that man has come to the point where he can shift them around. He can take out and he can put in’ and he can change the color of the eyes of the baby so that you get a baby with blue eyes if even you are black. They can do whatever they want to do—that is what they think. They think they can.
They said that this is the discovery, and I see in it nothing more than the spirit of the tower of Babel. I see man reaching to the heavens and he wants to be God; and they have denied the Son of God. They have denied the power of God, and they want to be gods themselves; they want to be able to change the earth and to do whatever they want to do. However, there is something else happening. God is bringing the matter to a conclusion. He is bringing it to a conclusion, and we are assured that we are in the Seventh Day.
Let us go back to Genesis and let us see what God says about the seventh day. In Genesis 2:1, the first thing we see is that God made the heavens and the earth in six days. He had constructed everything according to plan. I am sure that there are none here who doubt that God made the heavens and the earth in six days, and I am talking about six natural days; to put it on the record, that the Scriptures said that “the evening and the morning” was the day. In the first chapter of Genesis, every time God made something, He said, “And the evening and the morning…” was the day. So we counted and it was six days; and on the seventh day He said He was going to do something, and that is what we want to read. Remember the principle that is in the Bible (in 2 Peter 3:8) that tells us that for every natural day that God used to create something in the natural world, it took a 1,000-year day to bring it to its completion:
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
In other words, God used one solar day and in that solar day whatever He made, it was then perfected in the 1,000-year day. So we have 6,000 years behind us, and we are in the seventh 1,000-year day, when what is in Genesis 2:1-2 must come to pass:
“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which He had made.”
From these verses concerning the seventh day, it is clear that two things must happen:
- He must finish the work. In other words, all that He made on the first day, all that He made on the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth day will be completed on the seventh day.
- And then God is going to rest. Now, what does it mean for God to “rest”? We have to find that out. However, let us first find out what it means for God to “finish.” If we are going to find out what it means for God to finish we have to turn around to Daniel 9, for that is the best chapter to give us a total list of the finished work. Let us read Daniel 9:24. Brother Mark yesterday set up a kind of basic structure concerning this, and so today we are going to look into the details of these things.
“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
So that means God is going to do these seven things, and all this must finish up the work:
- Finish the transgression
- Make an end of sins
- Make reconciliation for iniquity
- Bring in everlasting righteousness
- Seal up the vision
- ……and the prophecy
- Anoint the most Holy
Now, if all this is what is meant by “finish,” then that is what we are looking for at this time.
Secondly, in Genesis 2:2, He said,
“And He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.”
Now to understand God resting, it is not saying that God fell asleep, it is just saying that He is not making anything more for now. For God not to make something is very hard to conceive of because God is always doing something. So something here is a revelation.
Turn with me then to Hebrews 4, beginning with Verse 1,
“Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.”
We find then that God stopped doing the work that He had done because the work was completed, but the work itself would continue to flow. Therefore, we have 1,000 years (the seventh day) in which we will come into that fullness of God, and the 1,000 years has already begun! Amen!
We now come to the year 2000 and so everybody is rejoicing over the start of the new millennium, but in fact we are already several years into the new millennium. God allowed man to create erroneous calculations, and to fail and fall and miss his way as far as time is concerned, so that we could not accurately calculate the time is concerned, so that we could not accurately calculate the time that God has set. Now, the earth rotates in an elliptical orbit around the sun in 365.4+ days within a year, while our solar year is counted as an even 365 days. A lunar year, on the other hand, is 360 days; and if you should take this difference times 2000, it comes to more than the 30 years, which is the difference between the lunar and the solar years. In other words, I will not bother you with that, but I am saying that God has a clock, and God set His clock approximately 2,000 years ago. Can anybody remember how He set it? Yes, He set it with Christ Jesus, but there was a certain time when He set it. It was just before the cross. In the Bible we read that one day Jesus spoke something to His disciples. We read the account in Luke 22, and beginning at Verse 7,
“Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. And he (Jesus) sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meat you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. And ye shall say unto the Goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.”
Jesus said, “Go down the street and you will see a man with a pitcher on his shoulder. Follow the man and he will lead you to where we will have the supper tonight.” This man was spiritually ordained. (I would not have been surprised if the man was an angel.) They went to the upper room and they prepared the upper room. Do you know why? That specific night, God’s clock said that the age of the law was over, and it jumped to the age of grace to begin that night. For on that night, the last offering of the lamb was to be made, and that was the night that was ordained by God from “the foundation of the world”! It was ordained by God that a man should carry a pitcher on his shoulder, and that he would be instrumental in there being a table set for the Son of God to have the passover. And He said, “With great desire have I desired to have this passover with you” (Luke 22:15). The Passover lamb Himself, that should be delivered up that night to be killed, was having the Passover with His brothers for the last time! I am saying that Jesus Christ then tells us one thing, that the age had begun that night. He, the Lamb, was offered—the last lamb to be offered under the law. Do you remember the Scripture that says that Jesus was born under the law?”
“But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons” (Galatians 4:4-5).
Jesus Christ was crucified by the law so that He might be the Passover for us, for the previous Passovers could not take away sin; but the blood of Jesus Christ is the LIFEBLOOD of God Almighty! Daniel’s 70th week had come to its midpoint and until another son of God is born, the 3 ½ years that is left (one half of the prophetic week) will not be finalized. We see Jesus (Yeshua) taking the first 3 ½ years in which to perfectly manifest God in human flesh, therefore leaving the other 3 ½ years (which would complete Daniel’s 70th week) for the man child son to accomplish when he is born at the end of time.
Now, we cannot understand it. I do not care how big your brain is, you cannot understand what is meant by the “lifeblood of God.” This blood (this power) is ruling all the stars and the whole universe. When they take the big telescope, and they put it out there and you see galaxies on fire, you say, “My God, what is that?” You say, “What is that?” “What kind of God is this Who makes all these things?” This God (this power, this strength) is the God that let His life seep out at Calvary, and His intention is that we might receive of this blood by spiritual means. For, you see, it was not the red plasma that Jesus Christ gave you, but it was the energy and the life-force that is inside of the plasma. The blood of Jesus Christ is a living force that is inside the red plasma. Your blood is your life, and your father gave you that life; and so it is that this blood of Jesus Christ is in this room tonight; and we can reach it by faith:
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:40).
We have everlasting life, yet we must wait for the manifestation of this of this everlasting life! God said that on the Seventh Day (“the last day”) the life will be manifested! So we are sitting on the edge of time. We are sitting in a place where the greatest glory that ever came down in the human realm is about to come down in us, who are called the sons of God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Now if we can understand that, then we can take another step forward.
First of all, yesterday Brother Mark touched upon the Sabbath day. One scripture said,
“Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.”[3]
Under Moses, those people who desecrated the Sabbath day were stoned to death. I have heard men decry the actions of Moses and say, “What kind of a God is this that would kill a man for going to pick up a piece of stick, to go and warm some water for his baby? What kind of a god is this?” It is our God—the Yahweh of Moses! It is our God, Who is showing us the seriousness and the absoluteness of the Word of God—that no man can flaunt the Word of god and live!
“Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy”! Now, Brethren, this is the sabbath day. We are today in the sabbath day. As we know, the Word of God is three-dimensional. The first dimension is the natural, the second is the spiritual, and the third dimension is the fullness. This is a basic law of Scriptural interpretation.
Now the first dimension (natural) of the sabbath would be the seventh day of the week. The second dimension (spiritual) of the sabbath is the Holy Spirit, and the third dimension (fullness) of the sabbath is the seventh millennium.
Do we understand that? The basic thought is that the seventh day was a natural twenty-four hour day given to man to bring man into Christ. Remember, the Old Testament was designed to bring man into Christ, so the seventh day sabbath and all those strict rules of sabbatical observance were given to us to bring us into the Holy Spirit, to bring us into Christ. Let us find some scriptures that say this.
{Galatians 3:22-24, “But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”]
Hebrews 4:4-10, “For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into My rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.’
So those who enter into the sabbath are those who enter into Christ—for this is our rest. This is our sabbath.
Now, if entering into Christ was only for this life then it would be not much, because you enter into Christ and you have the Lord, and you get persecuted and you suffer, and so and so, and then you die—so it would not be much. However, it says that God is bringing men into the third dimension, when not only you will rest but also the earth will be at rest, and you will come into that perfection in Jesus Christ that God has ordained.
Now, I do not know if I am losing you or if I am getting to you, but, look at this: Man is spirit, soul, and body.
The Holy Spirit comes into man’s spirit.
In Romans 8:16, it says, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.”
Man’s soul must be incorporated by what is in his spirit, so the spirit of man and the Holy Ghost (which is God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) comes into the realm of man’s soul:
And the soul will be incorporated into God.
And then the body (which is a stranger to God) later on will also be incorporated into God.
Roman 8:23, “And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
So it is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Man’s spirit, man’s soul, and man’s body will be incorporated into the Godhead in this time (in the Seventh Day). This is why it is so important.
I am going through all this as just groundwork to show you the revelation which God has given me pertaining to all this that we have been preaching and believing. It is going to be up to you to believe and to go to God. I expect the men of God and the women of God who can speak to God, that they will go to God and say, “What is this that this man is saying?” For I am not afraid to tell you what I believe God has told me; and I am so happy when somebody can come to me and say, “Brother Ces, God didn’t tell you that. It is wrong.” I would love that because I do not want to hear any other voice. I am against every other voice but the voice of God, and if I make a mistake, which is possible, I want you to correct me. The whole body cannot make a mistake. So, in the company of so many counselors, we must have the truth.
Now, I want you to see this: The Spirit of God is in my spirit because I am baptized in the Holy Ghost.
This is what is meant when God speaks about THE REST. He has put the rest in your spirit, but you have a duty to open the door. One little song says, “Swing wide, ye doors of my heart.” You must open the door so that the Spirit of God that is in your spirit can get into your soul.
Now, those who are prophesying and those who are manifesting in the different gifts of the Spirit, it is because they have practiced how to open to the Spirit of god so that God may flow through, and this is why this other song blesses me so much. It says,
“Flow through me. Flow through me. Let the lifeblood of Your body (from outside, from the body) flow through me.”
So I am praying to God, “God, not only let the Spirit flow through me, but I will open my heart.” Another song says,
“Unto Thee, Oh Lord, do I open up my heart….”
In Psalm 24 it says,
‘Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.”
It does not say, “be ye lifted up.” It says you must be a “lift-up” gate. In other words, locked in a lift-up position to God.
“…be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors.”
That could not be talking about any doors down here! It has to be talking about the doors of the soul—the everlasting soul! Amen. That, “He that believeth on the son hath everlasting life….”
So, therefore, this thing here is to happen now in this time! Now, I believe that God is speaking to me about when it is going to happen. He has given me an understanding of the time. The Bible (in 1 Chronicles 12:32) speaks of the “sons of Issachar” being able to know the times and the seasons, so that means that God has some people who know the times and the seasons. And let me tell you something, God has promised us in His Word that in the seventh day He was going to let us know all the mystery. Let us turn to it, and go back over to Daniel where God tells Daniel to shut up the book, because he (Daniel) was not going to receive the fullness of the understanding of what god was doing. It is in Daniel 7:4.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Verses 8 and 9,
“And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”
In other words, Daniel was not going to get the revelation of the end time.
Turn now to Revelation 10, and we will begin reading from Verse 5,
“And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand up to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things that are therein, that there whould be time no longer (In other words, there is no more delay). but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”
Now, you wonder about the trumpets and the sounding of the angels, and so and so, but let me make one thing clear to you. I believe that when Joshua was told of God to march around the city of Jericho and blow the trumpets, the first day they blew just the one trumpet. The second day, two trumpets blew. The third day, three trumpets blew, and on the seventh day the seven trumpets blasted all together. If you look in Revelation 6:1-8, you will see that there were four horsemen riding. Let us turn there, beginning with Verses 1-2,
“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”
The first horse is a white horse, and riding on it is Jesus Christ, and so that means that the coming of Jesus began the opening of the seals.
Verses 3-4, “And when he had opened the second seal…there went out another horse that was red; and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth….”
So the “Prince of Peace” (Ref. Isaiah 9:6) riding on a white horse came first, and if you refuse the Prince of Peace, what do you get? War! Today, because the nations have refused the Christ of God, the Prince of Peace, they are trying and they are struggling to have peace. Now they want to give away the land of Israel for peace, but let me pause here to tell you a few things that are happening.
The Lord showed me that when the Scriptures spoke of the Euphrates River drying up, it was speaking about the Islamic nations who occupy the whole basin of the Euphrates River; and that they are going to be so dry (so bereft of God’s spiritual energy and life and water {which is the Word of God}) that they will believe that God has ordained them to kill and to destroy; and that they are the ones who will be using the atomic bomb to destroy humanity; and not just the atomic bomb, but other things that are worse, like germ warfare, etc.
We, the people of god, are the only people who god has promised to make immune from “the destruction that wasteth at noonday.” When I am asking you brethren to climb up into god, all you need is just to believe. you do not need any big anything—you just need to believe God!
I notice that when the flu comes along, it takes the Christians as well as the sinners. I am saying that I have seen a brother with his family coming from Nebraska, and six people in the van in which they were traveling were attacked by the flu. The child started sniffling and coughing, the husband got hit, and it started to take charge of the van as they were coming along. They began to rebuke it and refuse it, and the continued driving along and rebuking, and by the time they reached their destination nobody in that vehicle had the flu! As Brother Bill Mercer said in these meetings, “We have not been using the divine authority that has been given to us—the ‘children’s bread’” (Ref. Mark 7:27). We need to be able to apply it—to use it! We are coming into the time where we are going to be in a position where medicine is not going to help, and into the time concerning which God said “…but for the elect’s sake….NO FLESH WOULD BE SAVED” (Matthew 24:22).
Mankind is going to destroy mankind! Watch the news. Watch what is happening. The Chinese are using slave labor to make all kinds of little goods. You go into the store and you see the “Beanie Babies.” Some Christians are taking God’s money and buying beanie babies! You are cursing yourself! It is a curse for you to follow the world and buy these little foolish things that they are using, just for no reason at all. They make many of these things in China.
But they have the one they call “pokemon.” The word “pokemon” means “pocket monster.” It means, “demon.” The people are using their money to buy these things.
Remember now, your money is your blood. Yes! In ancient times, you could make an offering to God of money instead of a lamb, so therefore, your money is your blood. You have to sweat and you have to labor to get money, and that money is an exchange for the life and the energy that you have in your body. Therefore, when you give God your money you are actually sacrificing a part of your life to God!
Now, this is what is happening. In China they are arresting Christians for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, and they put them to work in labor camps, and they make these little beanie babies and all these little foolish things you see them stocking the stores with. Just check where these things are made and you will see, “China!” “China!” “China!”
What do you think that you are doing when you buy these things? You are giving them your money to make bombs and to make armaments and weaponry, and they are scattering this weaponry all over the Arab world; and as I understand it, even atomic warheads. They caught two men down in Miami selling atomic warheads. They were caught when the tried to sell to a FBI man. These are the ones that they caught, but what about the ones that they did not catch? Do you think these two were the only two? They are selling it to the terrorists. They are selling it to the men who hate God and hate Christianity, and it is your money that you spend at the store that is going to give them the power to make these armaments and make these wicked things; and it is your frivolity and your greed! You want something so cheap that you have to go into the store and buy it from China. I am telling you, I do not buy Chinese goods. It is not because I hate the Chinese (the Chinese are beautiful people), but it is because I understand that they are being used of the devil to bring destruction to the earth.
I cut out a clipping from China that I have here in my Bible concerning a man who was the head of a government publishing company in China. I do not know if he mistakenly did it or he deliberately did it, but he published a secret Chinese paper and it said that China is planning to attack Taiwan with atomic weapons, and to see what America will do. Immediately they arrested him. They shut down the paper and we hear nothing more except for the clipping which came in the newspaper.
I am telling you brethren, that the devil has his business well fixed and ready. If we the christians are not ready, then we are going to die along with the sinners! But god says, concerning the time we are in coming into, that if it were not for “the elect” that “NO FLESH WOULD BE SAVED.” and that means that god is going to save humanity through the elect.
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake [because of the elect] those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:21-22).
So we looked at Revelation 6 and we saw the white horse, and the red horse of war; and the third one is in Verse 5,
“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse: and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley….”
This is a black horse, and in the darkness there is nothing but trading, buying and selling, and it turns out that they are buying and selling the very souls of men (Ref. Revelation 18:13). Buying and selling the souls of men! And then (after this great time of commercial explosion of what they call wonderful prosperity), [we need to see that there is yet another horse coming]… Brethren, hear this and judge for yourselves, for we are intelligent people: You are the head of a household and you have a six billion-dollar surplus, yet you owe three hundred billion. How would you like to have such a “surplus”? How can you have a surplus when you owe so much money? But this is the kind of thing that they are telling us today. They are fooling us! They are deceiving us! There is no surplus. They are printing up a lot of paper, and deceiving us and making us believe that there is prosperity—and the people are going along with it! A man goes before his computer a pauper, and he gets up a millionaire. He bought a stock, and lo and behold, the thing exploded and he is a millionaire! What kind of a thing is that? DECEPTION is what we call it.
Let not the people of god be deceived! the hour of god is upon us! this is the hour for which you were born. This is the hour for which jesus christ gave his life to bring forth life in the earth, and we are the instruments that god wants to use! Amen! Do no be deceived!
But immediately after the prosperity… let us read down here in Verse 7,
“And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.”
This means that he will be killing sinners. Sinners (people who do not know God) are going to be slaughtered! It says that the rider on this last horse is “Death” and “Hell” followed after him! We are talking about the seventh millennium.
Now, you say,
“Brother Ces, why is it that you are saying this?” Let me tell you why. In 1970, I was sitting in my room in Fort Lauderdale. I had my head down in my hands and I was meditating because God had said to me, “Leave the mower and go inside.” I did not know why, but I did not care because I know that if God says for me to go inside, I go inside.
I sat there and I heard the door open. I would not look, for I felt that if I looked I would lose the message that I was supposed to get. I knew it was a spirit, and he came and stood right before me, and I saw on his feet garters (like those runners in ancient times) and he had on sandals; and he said to me, “Look at this.” Then he handed me a sheet of paper and placed it right before my face, and I started to try to read. It was written from the top to the bottom and I could not read it. I could not read the handwriting, and He said, “Don’t worry. That is the past.” He said, “Take this one,” and he pushed the other sheet of paper in before me, and two lines (just two lines) were written way at the very top; and he said, “This is the tribulation.”
I began to preach it then, that the tribulation had begun; but there is something peculiar about it. Let me take you into Matthew 24, and beginning with Verse 29,
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
That is clear and that is plain. We are getting to the time when Jesus will come and we are getting to what will happen when He comes. However, something is peculiar here. If you do not know when the tribulation starts, how will you know when it is finished? It said here that the son of man shall come ”immediately after the tribulation of those days.” For years I wondered, “Why did God come to me and show me the beginning of the tribulation?” Now, you know that the Church teaches a seven-year tribulation, but from the Scriptures (and as Brother Mark has shown) we can see that the Bible does not say this at all. So then, I am stating that the teaching is wrong that says it is a seven-year tribulation. If it is wrong, then what is right? Where is the truth? The truth is that the tribulation is forty years. We have so many scriptures on that score that it is difficult for us to go through them all, but let me run through a few of them here for you.
In Genesis 7:4, it says that it “rained upon the earth forty days and forty nights.” This is speaking of the flood in the time of Noah. Now, as Bible students you know that your Bible will not give a figure or say anything about any specific thing without there being some meaning behind it. Why did it not rain for “forty-one” days? Why did the scripture deliberately say that it rained “forty days and forty nights”?
In Genesis 8:6, at the end of the flood, it specifically mentions that Noah opened the window to the ark after forty days.
“And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.”
Let me just run down a few thoughts here concerning this. The window in the ark is a sign (a symbol) of the Holy Ghost. The ark had three sections:
The bottom part was sealed with pitch and tar (the seal of the living God)—that is the Father.
The second section (with the door) is the Son. Jesus said, “I am the door….”
The third section (with the window) is where birds fly out, and that is the Holy Ghost. So therefore, we are talking about a window open to heaven after the forty days.
In Genesis 26:34, Esau was forty years old when he married to Hittite women and he was a grief to his parents. Here in this instance, forty years is associated with something grievous.
In Exodus 16:35, Israel ate the manna for forty years.
In Deuteronomy 9:9, Moses fasted for “forty days and forty nights.”
“When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water.”
In the tabernacle of Moses is written the whole Scripture, the whole Gospel. All the Word of God is contained in that little picture.
“And God said to Moses, See to it that you make it according to the pattern which I have shown you in the mountain.” (“Forty days and forty nights”)
“And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up. Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward. And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons. And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards: And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board” (Exodus 26:15-21).
So, if then we look at the tabernacle, there were twenty boards on each of the two long sides, with each of these boards having two tongues (“two tenons” representing: 1. The Spirit, and 2. The Word) set in two “sockets of solver” at the bottom to hold the board upright. We see then, that according to the pattern God gave Moses, the tabernacle had forty sockets of silver on the one side and forty sockets of silver on the other side.
Now what is the meaning then of these forty sockets of silver? Remember now, silver is “redemption.” The boards symbolized us (the members of the body of Christ) and the socket it was placed into went down into the earth. This is to say that you can only stand in God if you stand in your redemption. Do you understand? Silver means redemption. Like a man stands up, that is how the board stood by its mortise and tenon. The thing goes down into the socket of silver and the board stands straight.
Remember now, the boards were wood covered with gold, which speaks of humanity being covered with divinity. Board never touched board, but with the two boards standing together it was gold touching gold. In other words, the God in me touches the God in you, and we are not supposed to rub each other raw. So this scripture passage specifies that there were to be “forty sockets of silver,” and so this word “forty” is spoken of again, which word means “tribulation.” ”Forty” means “tribulation.” But I want to show you that it is right through and through the whole Word of God: “Forty”—“Forty”—“Forty”!
In Numbers 13:17, Moses sent out those who were to spy out the land of Canaan, and in Verse 25 it says,
“And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.”
So for forty days the spies searched the land. Then, in Numbers 14:33-34, it says concerning Israel in the wilderness that they shall bear their iniquities forty years. It is a day for a year. Brother Mark did bring up that. It says,
“And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness. After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.”
Now, if Israel is the type of the Church, then we are the “Israel of God” (Ref. Galatians 6:16) and Israel was a pattern after which God created the Church. However, you know, there is something that frightens me. It is all well and good to say, “Oh yes, what happened to Israel is Old Testament,” but do you know that it is happening right now? Everything that happens to Israel happens to the Church! Lift up your eyes a little with me and look at what is happening to Israel right now. The enemy has come right into Israel, and to have peace Israel is having to give away land; and it is so stupid because the more their enemies get the more they want. There will be no peace! Islam will never come to terms with Israel because they want to dispossess Israel completely. It is Esau and Jacob, and they want to dispossess Jacob completely. In other words, Israel must die in order for the Arabs to be satisfied; and if they are able to succeed in killing Israel they will turn around and start killing one another, because that is the nature of Islam. I do not know if anyone will be mad with me for saying this (I am not really concerned as to whether anyone would be upset, or whether it is politically correct or whatever to say this), but what I am saying is that Islam does not know God Almighty. The God of Islam is not the God of Israel!
Now, we are the “Israel of God,” and we are designed of God to save Israel. That is, we (the church), when we rise up in the glory of God, we will save Israel. When Jesus Christ rose up from the dead, the first man He saved was Adam, His brother. Did you know that? God only made two men: The first Adam and the second (last Adam (Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:45), and the second Adam came to save the first Adam. So when Jesus went down to hell, He went down for Adam and for his children; and Adam was the first to come forth to his brother, Jesus (made by the hand of god; without mother or father).
So we see this pattern in the Scriptures of “forty years”—“forty years”—“forty years.” Let me give you some more examples.
It is recorded in Judges 13:1 that Israel was under the rule of the Philistines for forty years:
“And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.”
We also note that it was forty days that Goliath presented himself before Israel:
“And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days” (1 Samuel 17:16).
Goliath made one mistake. He came out for the 41st day and there was David waiting for him. God said that after that time, He will send His servant David to rescue us.
I Samuel 4:18 says that Eli judged Israel “forty years.”
David reigned for forty years (2 Samuel 5:4):
“David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.”
Solomon reigned for forty years (1 Kings 11:42):
“And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.”
Com on brethren! You know your Bible! Whenever your Bible begins to repeat things like this, it has a specific meaning.
Now that I have convinced you that forty years is the tribulation, I have to convince you of something else. If the tribulation is forty years, and then if we know when the tribulation starts and that God said in the Bible that the “son of man” would come ”…immediately after the tribulation,” wouldn’t you know then when Jesus would come?
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” (Matthew 24:29).
Remember now, we know that God set the clock in Jesus’ time. We do not have to worry about the time before, because He did set the clock earlier with Daniel when in Daniel 9:24 He said, “Seventy weeks are determined…” Brethren, do you know that theologians have counted the time and it was exactly sixty-nine weeks (483 years) to the time when Jesus Christ started His ministry and was baptized in the river Jordan by John the Baptist? The count of time at that time was perfect. Therefore, the clock was set by God in Daniel, and then Jesus came and He set the clock again.
Because, you see, many are fooling around with the time, and God said (in Daniel 9:25) that they would seek to change times and laws; and so the Catholic Church came along and they began to make a calendar, which is the Gregorian calendar that we go by now. Now, the Gregorian calendar was not made in the time of Jesus, but sometime in the fourth century. To make that calendar they had to trace back, and they did not have computers. I believe if they had computers at that time they would have done a better job, but as it is, they themselves, after they made the calendar, came up now with the thought that it was wrong. Catholic theology says that the time is wrong by four years, but I believe they are trying to fool us again. I think Jesus set the clock again when He showed me in April 1970 that the tribulation had already begun. On the sheet, two lines by 1970 had already been written, and if each line represents a year then this implies that two years had already passed. So instead of dealing with forty years, we would be dealing with thirty-eight years.
Brethren, you cannot get a revelation from God that goes contrary to Scripture. If you get a revelation, it must go according to the Word of God. I did not know what to do with the revelation, and I had it all these years until the Spirit of God came to me and showed me something. Turn to Matthew 24 again, and let us begin with the 15th verse.
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the Holy Place, (whoso readeth let him understand) let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains.”
You know the song where it says, “I must flee to the mountain top.” It speaks of how, just as the birds flee from the winter storm, so our souls are crying out to God to flee to the mountaintop. Now, this verse in Matthew is saying that you must leave the low land in Judea and “flee to the mountains.” These are not natural mountains that God is talking about. God is telling His people to flee into the high places of God.
The time of fleeing has come! Brethren, God is asking you to leave the low land. We are in a place of low spiritual life. Even our spiritual operation is on a low level. God wants us to rise a little higher. For the Spirit of god is going to lift the Church at a certain time. The whole Church will be lifted spiritually into the same realm that Jesus Christ was in when He was on the earth.
I am saying that I am going to pinpoint the time for you, because I think this is what God has shown me. Now, what we are saying then is that the tribulation is forty years, and God says that He will shorten the time. When Jesus says, “When ye see the abomination of desolation stand in the Holy Place,” what is He talking about? He is talking about the Church. The Church, like the human temple, has three sections.
God’s pattern provided for an Outer Court, Holy Place, And Holy Of Holies—three areas of rising for the Church.
The Outer Court is a church that lives in the natural realm, that translates the Bible naturally, that believes naturally in everything. Though it does not work, they still believe that they have it. They call themselves “fundamentalists.” As fundamentalists, they say that they believe that everything in the Bible is literal. Now, you do not have to go far in your Bible before you find out that it is not literal. A young man up in Michigan read the Bible where it says, “…if your right hand offends you, cut it off.” He took the hatchet to his right hand and chopped it off! It did not make him holy. It just made him one-handed.
{“But our sufficiency is of god…Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life” (2 Corinthians 3:5-6)}
If you follow the Bible literally, you will be “dead” in a short time. So the people who say that they are following the Bible literally, they are only deceiving themselves. They are not following the Bible literally at all. for the bible says that the bible is a spiritual book and it must be spiritually discerned! You cannot literally discern a spiritual book. If you do, you are dead!
“Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of god: for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:13-14).
So, what is happening among the Arabs is that they took the Bible and they rewrote it, and they called it the Koran; and this Koran is telling them that if a man steals they must chop off one hand; and if he steals again then they must chop off both hands; and whatever the Koran is saying, they are trying to do the things literally. I speak to a Muslim and he says, “Well, if you think we are wrong, you just look into Moses’ law. You just look into Moses’ law and you will see it says that you must stone him to death!” So then, if you are going to take the Bible as literal, and Moses’ law says to stone him to death, then you would go out stoning people! It is not literal! The Old Testament was designed to bring us unto Christ, and it is a spiritual situation.
Now, because of this then, let us look again at the Outer Court, the Holy Place, the Holy of Holies. When God says to go up into the “mountains,” where do you think He is saying you should go? He is saying that those who are in the Outer Court must flee into the Holy Place. In other words, those who are working literally, they must get spiritual. You get spiritual, God says that you are still not safe. You must run into safety. The only ultimate safety in God is in the Holy Of Holies! The idea here, for example, is that an angel is totally safe and totally covered by God, and an angel does not know fear; and this is what we mean by “ultimate safety.” So, like in Psalm j91, we would be in a place where we would have total immunity from any fear of hurt or destruction. The Scriptures say in Psalm 91:1-2,
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, SHALL ABIDE UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my portion; my God in him will I trust.”
What will happen when you abide under the shadow of the Almighty?
Verses 3-8, “Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor the the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”
Now, do you understand what this Psalm is saying? It is saying that there is a place in God wherein the missiles will not hurt you! There is a place in God where the germ warfare that is going to be let loose in thie country will not hurt you! Do you hear what I am saying? The germ warfare that will be let loose in this country will not hurt you, but unless we get into that “secret place of the most high,” we are vulnerable!
WE ARE STILL VULNERABLE! Right this moment we are vulnerable, but the time is coming when we will “flee into the mountains” (into God’s mountains). Not as some are doing, getting themselves caves and mountains, and feeling that they are safe. When the germ warfare is let loose in the land, it will take you no matter where you are, just like the flu goes about and it does not care how much you lock your door, the flu comes in on you.
So there are these three stages (Outer Court, Holy Place, and Holy of Holies), and God is saying to the people that at the time when the trump of God will sound and there will be destruction on earth, He wants to have a people who will not be destroyed. The Scriptures say that we will be like Jesus—do you think that the germs would hurt and kill Jesus? No! It would not touch Mary. It would not touch Martha. I want you to understand certain things about God. God will have to deal with you in the realm where you live. God will have to save you in the realm that you are.
Here is the Son of God, and Mary, (being the mother of Jesus Christ) and Joseph (being the caretaker), and God said to them (in Matthew 2:13), “Flee! Take your little donkey and run to the land of Egypt and hide from Herod.”
Why did God do that? Why didn’t God just send one of His good bolts of lightening and strike Herod and finish the matter there and then, and just let Jesus and Mary and Joseph remain where they were? Yes, it was to fulfill the scripture (“…Out of Egypt have I called my son” {Hosea 11:1, Matthew 2:15}), but why do you think that He wrote the scripture like that? It was because of the dimension that they were in. They were in the natural realm. They were not high in the spirit. God’s time for this kind of manifestation was not yet, so He told them to flee into Egypt. BUT GOD IS LIFTING A PEOPLE WHO WILL RISE IN THE SPIRIT TO A POINT WHERE THEY WILL COMMAND THE VERY ELEMENTS!
However, on the other hand, when Jesus took up His ministry, do you think they could touch Him? Did Jesus run from them at any time? They caught Him; they held Him; they took Him to the brow of the hill to throw Him over; and when they made the push, their hands were empty. Jesus just walked past them and went out.
Do you understand what God is saying to us? God cannot defend the Outer Court because the Outer Court Christians are the people who want to do their own thing. God says, “Turn to the east,” and instead they go west! Amen! God is going to deal with us in the area that we are in spiritually. He said, “He that dwelleth…” The very thought “He that dwelleth” means that there are some who do not swell. (I always read my Bible in the converse):
“Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way fo sinners…” (Psalm 1:1).
(Which is to say, “Cursed is the man who walks in the counsel of the ungodly and stands in the way of sinners.”)
You are going to tell me that the Bible did not say so, but it did say so—in the converse! It said that if you are blessed in doing it, then the man who does not do it is not blessed. Amen! Praise God!
Now, let us get into the nitty gritty here. We are in Chapter 24 of Matthew. Jesus says here in Verse 20,
“But pray that your flight be not in the winter neither on the sabbath day.”
I think here that He is speaking of “spiritual” winter. In wintertime, all the juice and the goodness in the tree goes down into the root and the tree falls asleep; and god is saying that if you are in that condition, “…pray that your flight be not in the winter.”
You know, I left here one summer where it was very, very hot in July, and I went to Kenya; and everybody there was in coats and trembling. It was kind of a shock to us, because we stepped off the plane into Africa and it was winter. Then we went down into South Africa and the leaves were falling from the trees and it was fall in July. So, if God said “winter” and it was natural winter, what would happen? While it would be natural winter for some people, it would be summer for others; and if it is the sabbath day here, it is not the sabbath day in Austsralia. So if you take the Word naturally, you are a goner. Yes! You are gone. You cannot take it literally and naturally. It has to be spiritual winter that He is talking about!
Now, He said in Verse 21,
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as never was since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
So right now we are heading up to a time of destruction and distress that never was on earth since the time that God made the earth. THINK OF IT, PLEASE. Think of the flood! Think of the distress and the destruction. God is saying that there is coming a time of tribulation, that there never was such tribulation—never since the time that God made the earth until now. You can imagine what is ahead of us!
WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT THIS GREAT DISTRESS AND THIS GREAT DESTRUCTION WILL HIT US IN THIS DECADE. We have passed over the line of God’s patience ….And God’s everything. We have come into judgment time! We are in judgment time. We have to be more serious people! We have to be different from what we used to be, and we will have to understand that God alone can save us.
If you will permit me, let us go on. We are in Matthew 24 and Verse 22.
“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Now, Jesus said, “except.” Thank God for the exception. In 1948, I was in a vision, and I saw destruction over the United States. I saw the cities bare. I saw the cities without inhabitants. I saw death and hell (Revelation 6:8) having done a work. I do not know what did it, I only know I saw houses turned over in the street. Terrible destruction! And it was through and through the whole land. Amen.
God called me sometime after, and [in another vision] I am standing in Paris, at that place in the city with five streets coming into one. I was standing there (Remember now, at that time I had never been to Paris), and just to my right hand side was a lamppost (one of those ancient lampposts) and further in the distance to the right was the Eiffel Tower and the street that they call the Champs Elysees. These lampposts were like the old ancient ornate lampposts that I used to see back in Jamaica that were left there as ornaments. I was standing there by one of those lampposts, and the Spirit of God came up into my left ear and He said, “It will be begin right here.” It? It? (I know better than to ask; I just keep quiet.) He said, “Then it will go to Germany.” He said, “Then it will go to England.” He said, “Then it will take the whole of Europe.” He said, “Then it will take the whole world.” I kept waiting for God to tell me. I know He is telling me something, so I am waiting. I am just quiet.
He said, “Come with Me and let Me show you.” He began to lead me through the land, and there was darkness, mourning, and weeping and gnashing of teeth. People were saying, “God has rejected us. We trusted in Him, but God has let us down.” Some of the people were in prison, some were being slaughtered. Some were being tortured, and it was just on, and on; until we came to a hill in the darkness where there was a long line of people going up to a guillotine to be slaughtered. I noticed that some were dejected, but others were buoyant and victorious. (These victorious ones would be the overcomers.) Then there was nothing….just nothing.
Then I began to wake up out of this nothingness, and I saw, just in the faint light, like it was morning coming; and I saw the trees were waving in the breeze, and the trees were talking. It is like they were praising God! The trees were praising God! Then I heard the birds in the trees, and strange enough, I could understand what the birds were saying. They were saying, “At last! Deliverance has come!” The birds were talking and they were praising God, and the light was coming.
Then there was a great explosion in the valley below and the prison bars were broken. Now I could see (it was light enough to see down in the valley), and I realized that the prison house was torn apart and people ran out just praising God! Hallelujah! DELIVERANCE HAD COME!
Now, I believe that is what Paul saw. Let us turn to Romans, Chapter 8, and Verse 19,
“For the earnest expectation of the creature (all created beings) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
All nature is waiting on you. All nature is waiting on Christ to manifest in us, to come forth in us.
”For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope.”
God made us with these bodies, God put us in this natural body—this prison! Hallelujah! He put us in this prison that we should suffer all that the world can give, BECAUSE HE HAS A HOPE! Amen!
Somebody asked, “But, why do you think you are better? Why do you think that you are a better church and that you are a better people than others?” I said, “We are not better! We are CHOSEN!” It says (in I Peter 2:9),
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
WE ARE CHOSEN! Not better, but chosen. In other words, God sees in us that He can make of us His Son. The Scriptures say that He shall “…bring MANY sons to glory” (Hebrews 2:10).
Romans 8:21 says, “BECAUSE THE CREATURE ITSELF (Also this creature—my body—-your body) SHALL BE DELIVERED FROM THE BONDAGE OF CORRUPTION INTO THE GLORIOUS LIBERTY OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD.”
That means that the outer court 9our body) is going to be delivered. The Bible said that Jesus Christ would not ”see corruption” (PSALM 16:10, Acts 2:27, 31, 13:35) and that we are going to be delivered from “…the bondage of corruption.” Yes!
It is kind of a macabre thing, isn’t it, that we sit down here, beautiful people, smiling and lovely, and the “hope” of a crowd like this is just that one day you will see corruption. However, I guarantee you that the next 1,000 years you will be here and not corruption, for you shall have overcome the corruption and ”…this corruptible” will put on “incorruption”:
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory” (I Corinthians 15:54).
Hallelujah! Amen! This is our hope, and our knowledge and our understanding. Yes! It says,
“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body” (I Corinthians 8:21-22).
“…the redemption of this body.” This “soma,” will be redeemed to be like Jesus’ flesh. He said, “Push your hand into My side and feel—I am flesh and bone.” So, in Christ, let Satan look at your bones and laugh. He will not laugh for long. Those bones are going to be immortal bones! Yes! Immortal bones!
Can you understand that, Sister? Immortal flesh! This flesh will be changed into immortal flesh. Some people are teaching that we are going to throw off this body and we are going to get a new body. Those who die now, in order that they not be naked (like demon spirits walking up and down without a body), God clothes them. He lends them a temporary spiritual body. Amen? In eternity, however, you will have the same Peter Schneider’s body there. The Schneider creature will be here. You will not be Schneider, though you know. You will have a new name. Hallellujah. That is the way it is.
And we need to understand the Word of God. If you do not believe it, you are in trouble! Because God says that if you believe His Word, you have everlasting life! But then, I might add that we are going to receive this everlasting life before we die. Some of us here will not die, but we shall be changed, “..in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” (I Corinthians 15:52). There are some who will die naturally, and there are others who will be killed in order to demonstrate the power of God. Do you understand?
If I knew that I had immortality right now (I mean, you know—Filled up! Made it!), I could easily say, as a demonstration “Chop my head off!” “Come Peter, get the sword, chop my head off and let everbody see me dead.” Then I could get up, take up my head and put it back on, and say, “Here am I!”
(You do not like that head business, do you?) But this is exactly what God says will happen right down here in not so many years to come. THE PEOPLE OF GOD WILL BE DELIVERED BY THE SONS OF GOD COMING FORTH IN THE FULL GLORY AND RESURRECTION OF Jesus Christ!H(
It will be just as Jesus Christ was slain. Jesus Christ was not killed by the Jews! God used the Jews and the Romans to kill Jesus. Jesus wanted them to kill Him, because He had immortal life and how else could He prove that He was the Son of God if He did not demonstrate life over death—-immortality over mortality? Remember, JESUS CHRIST the Messiah is the only human being Who died and resurrected with His body and came back physically:
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen” (Revelation 1:18).
We go back to Matthew 24 because we might have missed something there. Verse 22,
“And except those days should be shortened there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Brother Mark did show you this, but to give you a complete picture I am going to show you something here, that the two lines that I saw in the vision written on the top of the sheet, were two years of the tribulation that would be shortened. For this, let us go back to John, Chapter 5, and let us begin reading with Verse 1 (for there is an important picture given to us here),
“After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity THIRTY AND EIGHT YEARS. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked and on the same day was the SABBATH.”
Let us look again at the sabbath God has provided for us, using some of the many scriptures that speak of its different dimensions.
“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. (Exodus 31:16-17).
THE THREE DIMENSIONS OF THE SABBATH
- THE NATURAL SABBATH = The 7th Day of the week.
“I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage….Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God; in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days The LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it”
- THE SPIRITUAL SABBATH = The Holy Ghost
“For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear” (Isaiah 28:12).
“Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world” (Hebrews 4:1-3).
“For if Jesus (Joshua) had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his” (Hebrews 4:8-10).
- THE FULLNESS OF THE SABBATH = The 7th Millennium
“After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” (Hosea 6:2).
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last (seventh) day” (John 6:40).
We are in the third sabbath (the 7th Millennium). The man who was healed in John 5 is a type of the man child company. Let me tell you—Jesus did not heal anybody else that day at the pool of Bethesda. (Note: John 5:2 gives the location of this pool and trates that it had “five porches.” This pool has been discovered recently by archeologists exactly where it was described in Scripture.) The Bible stated that there were many sick people there, but Jesus was sent on a mission by God to heal one man on the sabbath day, and the man is a type of the man child church. This pictures the present day situation, where we are now in the sabbath, and God is going to heal the man child church in this sabbath day that we are in —THE SEVENTH MILLENNIUM.
Now, in the fifth verse it said that the man was there and he had an infirmity “thirty and eight years.” Now, I know my Bible—Why did the Bible tell the length of time that the man had the infirmity? Yes, it is because it is something that is very significant. Now, as Brother Mark already said (which I just want to repeat for the record’s sake), the children of Israel left Egypt, and in Numbers 33 the Scriptures list there thirty-eight encampments that they had after crossing the Red Sea and before they entered into the promised land.
The Lord said (in Psalm 95:10), “Forty-years was I grieved with this generation…” but we note that it says that they spent “thirty and eight years” in the desert, in the wilderness:
“And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we weree come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them” (Deuteronomy 2:14).
It was two years after they left Egypt that they really entered the wilderness; and they entered the Promised Land on time—because we will enter the Promised Land after this tribulation is over. Matthew 24:29 says that it will be “Immediately after the tribulation of those days….”
Well, with the revelation that God brought to me, I said, “God, why did You tell me in April 1970 that the tribulation had begun?” I had become a fool to all the preachers because I was going around saying that the tribulation had already begun. Now, forty years from 1970 would be 2010. However, something that I saw (on the sheet in the vision) is that two lines were already written.
So we are not talking about 2010, but we are talking about 2008. Two lines were already written. That means that just like with the children of Israel, God took the two years off the top. So then we are talking now about the year 2008, which basically would be eight years from now. However, let me show you something. In Matthew, where it said that we shall see the Son of Man coming down from heaven, didn’t the scripture say that when Jesus comes He will find faith on the earth? In other words, the sons of God will come forth before Jesus comes in the natural? If you go back again into Scripture you will see that every time God comes down to Israel, He comes down in the Holy of Holies. What does that say? That says that God will appear first in His temple. Let us read it in Matthew 16:28, and Luke 17:20-21.
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”
“And when he was demanding of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
The coming of Jesus Christ (the first coming of Jesus Christ) then is “in His kingdom.” He started coming in His kingdom when they received the Holy Ghost at Pentecost. That is the first time that God entered into man—not into the soul—but into the spirit of man. Of course, He will appear in the soul too. Turn to Malachi Chapter 3:1,
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the lord of hosts.”
Now, there were three times that God descended with fire. Three times. The first time was when Moses constructed the tabernacle. Fire came down from heaven and lighted it, and that fire lasted about 490 years in Israel. Then we see Solomon come along, and he built the temple; and when Solomon prayed to God, fire came down and lighted the altar again (1 Kings 8:10-11), and that fire remained in Israel. Then, you know, the sacrifice and all that went, but when Jesus sent the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:3-4), fire again came down and they had “cloven tongues…of fire” on their head. Now, what are we saying? We are saying that Pentecost was the beginning of the third temple (the final temple that God is building), and He put fire on that altar and that is the fire that God wants in us now. In Acts 2:3, it says that cloven tongues of fire appeared on their heads. That is why I do not believe in psychological preaching. I do not believe in the theologians who light their own fire, for the only fire that should anoint the people of God and the Church of god is the fire of the Holy Ghost that fell at Pentecost.
Now, we see then that God says He is “coming.” Let us look at it in the picture of the tabernacle. How did the priest come? He would come through the gate, then through the door into the holy place to the golden altar, and then through the veil into the holy of holies.
But then, how did God come in the tabernacle? He came first through the holy of holies, then through the holy place, and then to the outer court. Moreover, the Bible says that when He appeared in the outer court it was “judgment”. Take my word for it and look it up. In Ezekiel 9:3-6, it says that the presence of God moved from the holy of holies out into the outer court, and He said, “Slay…” So it is destruction.
All right, now look at the human being. He is spirit, he is soul, and he is body: holy of holies, holy place, outer court.
Now, where is God coming? The Holy Ghost comes into your spirit and then He is coming in your soul. Your mind becomes the mind of Christ. Your emotions become the emotions of God, and you start feeling the feelings of God. Your will and your desires become totally surrendered to God. John 7:17 says that if any man desires to do His will, God says, “I will let him know.” So therefore, the desires, the emotions, the will, and the mind—the Spirit of God is coming into these areas of the soul.
When you talk about the coming of Jesus, on the one dimension, you are talking about Jesus coming into His temple. IF WE HAVE NO HOPE OF JESUS FILLING US, ALL OUT CHRISTIANITY IS IN VAIN!
The brethren asked Jesus, “Teach us how to pray.” He said “Pray, ‘Our Father, which art in heaven….” He did not say, “Our Father, down here…” or “My father, Who is in you…” but He said “Our Father, which art in heaven…” We were in a group where people were holding each another by the leg and saying, ”I worship the Christ in you.” HERESY! It says, “Our father, WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, hallowed by thy name.” The next phrase: “…thy kingdom come, thy will be done IN EARTH as it is in heaven.” The Bible says that man is highest earth, so it is saying that we should pray, “Let your kingdom come in me first…as it is in heaven.” Hallelujah!
So then, God must reign in my spirit. God must reign in my soul, and God must come out through my body. The final manifestation of Jesus Christ on earth, before He appears in His body, is going to be “Christ in you” (Ref. Colossians 1:27). Amen!
Now, if this is so, then we are expecting in this hour and at this time that Jesus will come forth in us. “Immediately after 2008” is not a time we have set, but it is a time set by God. I am not saying it is 2008, but I am saying that according to our calculation it is about the year 2008 that God is speaking about. Remember now, Jesus said in Matthew 24:29, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days (these days that we are already in)…” Now, He said, “after.” He did not say 2008, but He said, “Immediately after” the tribulation of these days. How short of how long God’s “Immediately after” is, we do not know.
But then, there is something else. I am missing out something because God must come in the temple before He comes outside there. He said that “Immediately after the tribulation…” that He is going to come outside there. So I am missing something—that the temple of God has 3½ years to manifest Jesus Christ before Jesus Himself comes; and let me show you that as a last point.
In Daniel, Chapter 9, “Seventy weeks” are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks…”
Seventy weeks (70 X 7) is 490 years, and “…seven…and threescore and two” (7 + 60 + 2) weeks is sixty-nine weeks of years, which would be 483 years. So, you see, although he told us it is seventy weeks, there is one week missing, because only sixty-nine are accounted for so far. However, we shall see in the next verse that is says that after sixty-nine weeks “…shall Messiah be cut off.” Now, I cannot understand how the Jews missed this. Thy felt that Messiah could not die, and yet the Bible clearly says here that Messiah would die, for it said that He would be “cut off”:
Verses 26-27, “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…”
Israel did not have any more sacrifice after that, and there is none now. Who caused it to cease? Jesus Christ! He ministered for 3 ½ years and He was the lamb, and the lamb was offered.
