Thank you for your letters and enquiries by telephone in reply to the summary of the message of our last publication “One Minute To Midnight” Jan.1986.
It is a great blessing to us that so many of the brethren asked us to explain these things mainly because we know that those who ask are spiritual, who are steadfastly serving the Lord, and that there are so many others who need this answer. As you might have imagined, it was impossible to explain the summary in the last publication, because space would not allow it.
We will attempt here, to answer from number one so that all the questions can be answered. There is a question which I must answer, however which was not asked.
“Why is it more of the anointed men of God are not preaching this message?” and “Where did I get all the details which I will explain scripturally, considering that the majority of the other men of God are not preaching and believing this?”
My answer is a simple one, because these are the questions which I myself asked the Lord: As it was in the scriptures, so it is now; God is revealing Christ in His Body. I therefore was called of God and sent to the United States with direct God-given revelations to help to save the Body of Christ from the “Great Apostasy” of the church. The message then cannot be the same as those who are taught by the church system, for the waters of the churches are bitter, and the trumpets are giving off uncertain sounds, thus the people are in a quandary. The scripture declares that the “Holy Ghost will teach us all things, and lead us into all truths,” I John 2:27; but at the end of time when very little time is left, the people who are supposed to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, are teaching all manner of shallow teachings and are leading men into error, not being led of the Holy Spirit. This is the reason my message and the message of others like myself are now absolutely necessary, and vital to our survival.
Let us begin with the summary at the end of the message “One Minute To Midnight”:
Midnight:
1. Things will deteriorate to a point in time called midnight which will be the darkest period in the history of the world, when the planet will face annihilation of every living thing.
The scriptural reference for this is:
Matthew 24:21, 22, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days shall be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Matthew 25:6, “At midnight there was a cry made, Behold the bridegroom cometh; Go ye out to meet him;”
This scripture speaks of the coming of Christ to the bride, the Church.
The Old Testament TYPES of Midnight:
Exodus 12:29, “And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle-“
Boaz rises at midnight and throws his mantle over Ruth-
Ruth 3:8-9, “And it came to pass that the man was afraid and turned himself ——–Spread therefore thy skirt over thy handmaiden for thou art a near kinsman.”
Samson arose at midnight and took off the gate of Gaza:
Judges 16:3- “And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.”
Explanation: Samson as a type of the “manchild church” of Rev. 12:5 represents Jesus Christ and the Body in one person who in the end-time will arise out of the bed with the harlot church, and take off the gate of their city. (disarm them, take away their defense).
Revelation 12:5 “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”
At midnight one woman substituted a dead child for the living one, but the wisdom of Solomon discovered whose was the living child:
I Kings 3:20, “And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.”
All the churches have claims to being the true church, BUT at midnight the church which has the living child will be proven by the wisdom of God.
Let us summarize Midnight:
- At midnight the Bridegroom, (Christ) will come to the waiting bride, but FIVE of them were foolish, and FIVE were wise. Though it is Five and Five, it is not speaking of 50% wise and 50% foolish. It is speaking of Five being the number of the Ministry, that there will be a foolish ministry and a wise ministry. The wise had oil in their lamps and vessels – the foolish had oil in their lamps and none in their vessels. (Lamp means the spirit of man – Prov. 20:27 – and vessel means the soul). At midnight when the pressure will be at its greatest, the shallow Christianity of the foolish Christians, whose souls were not charged with the Spirit of Christ, will miss being in the “Manchild” group. (First fruit company who will receive the fullness of Christ before the rest of the church).
This coming of Christ is within “His Temple” as was the annual entering through the veil of the High Priest in the temple worship of the Old Testament.
2. At Midnight Christ will come within the Body of Christ In His Fullness. It Will be Sudden and Dramatic.
In order to explain this we must take it piece by piece and give the scriptures as we go along. Let us first deal with the coming of Christ.
The first question to answer is – Where will Christ Appear?
Matthew 24:30, “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN THE CLOUDS of HEAVEN with power and great glory.”
Mark 13:26, “And then shall they SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN THE CLOUDS WITH GREAT POWER AND GLORY.”
I Thessalonians 4:17, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them IN THE CLOUDS, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR:”
We can safely say that the scriptures show very clearly here that we will see Jesus Christ coming in the clouds, and this will be an open affair because all “the tribes of the earth” shall see Him.
If we are all agreed that these scriptures are correct and from God, then let us look at some other scriptures on the subject:
Matthew 16:28, “Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM”
Malachi 3:1, “Behold I will send my messenger and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in, behold he shall come saith the Lord of hosts.”
2 Thessalonians 1:10, “When he shall come to be glorified IN HIS SAINTS, and to be admired IN ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE…”
Luke 17:21, “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, Lo there! FOR, BEHOLD, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU.”
It should be very clear to my readers, if not a bit confusing, that the first set of scriptures speak of the coming of the Lord in the air, BUT then these last four scriptures speak of His coming in His Kingdom, and Luke adds that the Kingdom of God is within.
(a)And There is a coming IN the AIR (every eye shall behold Him)
(b)There is a coming WITHIN (midnight – Thief in the Night)
There is a coming where every eye shall behold him and there is a coming as a Thief in the Night: The Midnight coming is the secret or the “Thief in the Night” coming where the Five Foolish Virgins were cast out into the outer darkness of the Tribulation.
Let us look at these scriptures in section (a):
(A) And There is a coming IN the AIR (every eye shall behold Him)
Revelation 1:7, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; And every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: And all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, amen.”
Matthew 25:31, “When the son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit ‘upon the throne of his glory; And before him shall be gathered all nations:”
These scriptures and many others prove without a doubt that there will be a public coming of Jesus in which all eyes shall behold him.
Let us look at the other scriptures in section (b):
(B) There is a coming WITHIN (midnight – Thief in the Night)
Matthew 24:42- “Watch therefore for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the Goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and not have suffered his house to be broken up.”
2 Peter 3:10, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;“
I Thessalonians 5:2, “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
These three scriptures in Section (B) describes the Lord’s coming as a stealthy secret creeping type of coming, wherein the Lord shall sneak up on the church like a thief. This coming will catch part of the church unprepared as the five foolish virgins. The five wise virgins had oil in both their lamps and their vessels – or in other words had the Spirit of God both in their spirits and their souls, while the foolish had the Spirit in their spirits, (i.e. baptized in the Holy Ghost), but not in their souls. Jesus Christ came and died to save our souls, not our spirits. It was the soul that was dead when God breathed into us and made us living souls through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is the soul therefore which God desires to respond to him and become Like Jesus Christ. If in spite of all that God has done for us through Christ, we remain unfruitful in our souls, then God cannot accomplish that final work in us to make us like His Son Jesus Christ.
Do not stumble over the words “the day of the Lord,” instead of the “coming of Christ”. They are both and the same thing, with one difference that the day of the Lord will continue for one thousand years, and the Coming of Christ is the beginning of the Day of the Lord, or in other words the beginning of the end of the long dark night of our earth experience, and the herald of the Morning when the “Glory of God shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.”
3.The perfected sons will begin their three and a half years ministry while the antichrist, the beast and the false prophet with his false church will be reigning.
Daniel 9:24, “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy Holy City to:
- “Finish the transgression
- “to make an end of sins,
- “to make reconciliation for iniquity
- “to bring in everlasting righteousness
- “to seal up the vision and prophecy
- “to anoint the Most Holy {Holy of Holies} {that is to bring man into the Father}”
We can readily see that the list from {a} to {f} is not yet accomplished, therefore the 70th week is not yet passed. If so then something must have arrested this countdown. Let us look into the scripture passage before us for our answer is there.
Daniel 9:25, “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks and three score and two weeks.” {69 weeks – prophetically speaking these would be weeks of years – 483 years}
Jermiah 31:31, “Behold, the days come saith the Lord, that I will make a NEW COVENANT with the House of Israel, and with the house of Judah……”
Jermiah 31:33, “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
Hebrews 8:10, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord I will put my laws into their MIND, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.”
(N.B.) Please take note that here Paul translates Jeremiah’s “inward parts,” as “soul”, and it can be still made clearer if we say –SOUL- The heart is the spiritual mechanism which controls the motivation of the man’s whole being: (i.e. Man’s spirit, soul, and body, meet in one focal point from which decisions to do or not to do are made, – this is called the HEART-).
This covenant which God made with man, therefore, was binding upon Him to bring man into a place where he would be like Christ Jesus. In order to bring this to pass, God our Father had to change the nature that was in man. In order to do this He had to send us a PATTERN SON and Jesus Christ had to live as a man and overcome all the things which we could not overcome as man.
Romans 8:29, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the IMAGE OF HIS SON, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
If the church should be caught away in a rapture, then this promise of God would not be able to be fulfilled, since this promise, in order to be effective, must take place while we are still flesh and blood humans.
Since we understand this, let us return to Daniel chapter 9:
Daniel 9:27, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the MIDST of the week he shall cause the SACRIFICE and the OBLATION to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
The devil had no power to stop the sacrifice and the oblation which Israel was used to offering to God. We see therefore, that JESUS CHRIST the Lamb of Calvary, offered up himself once and for all, and caused the sacrifice of animals and the oblations to cease.
4. In the Midst of the Week:
In three and a half years Jesus Christ lived and ministered confirming the Covenant of God to us that we would be like him, and showed us the way for us to be like him – in His Likeness and Image WHEN JESUS CHRIST DIED THE COVENANT HAD TO BE PUT ON HOLD, BECAUSE WE WERE NOT MATURED SONS, AND THE ONLY WAY WE CAN INHERIT THIS COVENANT OR CONTRACT WITH GOD, IS IN SPIRITUAL MATURITY.
We will therefore, have our 3 ½ years in which to manifest God in man and this will fulfill God’s promise to us that we will be like Jesus Christ.
During this three and a half year period, the antichrist and the beast will be reigning, until the church overcomes them at the end:
Revelation 11:2, “But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the Holy City shall they tread under foot forty and two months. “ (three and a half years)
Revelation 11:3, “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days clothed in sackcloth.” (3 ½ years)
The question to be answered now is, where is the verification in scripture for the thought that the TWO WITNESSES REPRESENT A PART OF THE CHURCH? The answer is found in Zechariah 4:1-6 (excerpts):
Zechariah 4:1-6, “And the angel that talked with me came again —-“
1:2 “And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said—-behold a Candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it and his seven lamps thereon and seven pipes to the seven lamps—“
1:3 “and TWO OLIVE TREES by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side thereof—–“
1:5 “Then the angel that talked with me—–“
1:6 “answered and said unto me THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LORD UNTO ZERUBABEL, saying NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER BUT BY MY SPIRIT, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS.”
In Revelation 11 the Two Witnesses are called the two Olive Trees. These represent the Spirit and the Word manifesting in the Church or to be more specific, in the Overcomer Church. It is very clear in Scripture that a part of the church will overcome while another part will succumb to the attack of the antichrist and the beast and the false prophet. If we are deceived by the Antichrist and his False Prophet, then we will become prey to the Beast and his tactics.
The promise of God to us is that we will be like Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:29) therefore the TWO WITNESSES could not be two men. The promise is not just to Moses and Elijah but to us all. In Christ we shall all be more than Moses and Elijah, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM.
The picture of this OVERCOMER COMPANY is the one which the angel showed Zechariah: The Candlestick (lampstand) which represents the church at large will no longer have just little lamps with a small capacity for oil (Holy Spirit), but will have a large BOWL; capacity to receive from the overcomers – Tree of Oil – those who have already attained their fullness of anointing and have to give to the rest of the church.
5. There will be a time of very great and intense persecution so that the Christians who have been disobedient will seal their testimony with their blood:
Revelation is a vision therefore it must be interpreted, not by our own understanding but by revelation from the Spirit of God. These things which I am giving to you therefore have been received by revelation from the Lord and are not from my own thinking. If you therefore, can receive these things in your spirit, then the Lord will make them clear to your understanding. 1260 days, 42 months, time, times and a half, have no other common denominator but 3 ½ years, therefore it must not be interpreted as 1260 years etc.
As you read the heading of No. 4 the question arises as to why do I say it is the disobedient Christians who will be trampled, and why are they called the “Holy City”? They are called the Holy City because all born again believers are part of God’s Tabernacle or dwelling place.
When we study the Tabernacle or the Temple, the first thing we observe is that it is divided into three parts. The Outer Court, the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. When we know that it has been placed in scripture by God to represent the church through all the ages, we will understand, therefore, that the Church has an Outer Court and that the people in that Court are just as much saved as those in the other sections of the Tabernacle or Church – further that the ten virgins represent all the saved, born again Christians, but that Five of them were cast out into outer darkness. (out in the darkness of the tribulation). This is exactly what the Greek text says about the outer court in Revelation 11:2 – quote: “And the Court outside of the shrine, CAST OUT (ekbale) outside and not it measure.” Every promise that God has given us is to the obedient and speaks of protection for the church in this very dark hour:
Psalm 91:1, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”
The promise is to the dwellers in the Holy of Holies. The enemy uses this to condemn some of us that we are not going to be delivered because we do not feel that we are in the Holy of Holies. If it depended on feelings, then all the wrong people would be delivered and the genuine ones would be left out, BUT God does not work according to our feelings. The Lord does not allow us the luxury of feeling good when we are “good”. In Ezekiel 9 we are told that the ones who will be saved are those who “Sigh and Cry”. In Revelation 11 we see the two witnesses ministering “clothed in sackcloth”. Those who are genuine in their hearts, crying to god with faith in him to do it, are the ones who will be dwelling in the Holy of Holies, when the time comes.
Let us look at the words of Jesus Christ himself:
John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer; I have OVERCOME THE WORLD.”
This passage seems to be saying that we all will have tribulation, but that the overcomers will overcome not only the world, but the tribulation of the world. This goes right along with other promises:
Revelation 2:10, “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION (tribulation) which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
Here is a promise to keep the obedient ones from the hour of tribulation which will come upon all the people of the earth. The inference here is that those who are not obedient will not be kept from this hour.
In Revelation 3:18-22 the Lord speaks to the church in Thyatira with a strong rebuke against a part of the church which He called “the woman Jezebel which calleth herself a prophetess”. A message like this is speaking of spiritual fornication – spiritual harlotry:
Revelation 3:22, “Behold I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.”
3:23 “And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.”
This is a fearful judgment and it was definitely for only a part of the church which is very clear in verse 24.
In Matthew 24, Jesus speaks of this great time of testing and tribulation, which He again mentions that it will come upon all the earth, and here again the Christian who is not watching and cold will be going through very severe suffering:
Matthew 24:19, “And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days.”
None will assume that God is going against childbearing, therefore we must understand this in the spiritual. Moreover the way the words are phrased in the original language, the understanding can be quite different from what it appears to be in English. It simply means that our spiritual life should not be dependent upon another even as a fetus is dependent upon its mother for life, and as a sucking child draws life from the breast of its mother. Our spiritual life should be directly drawn from God and all God’s ministers and angels should point the little ones the way to Christ.
Matthew 24:20, “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
24:21 “For then shall be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
24:22 “And except those days shall be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Again this passage speaks of winter or the Sabbath day as the wrong time to be fleeing. Surely fleeing in the cold would multiply the terror of any desperate situation, or on the Sabbath day when everything is closed up would add to the difficulty. But, let us look at the spiritual picture. When it is winter in a man’s soul and the sap has retreated to the roots and there is no life in the limbs nor fruit-bearing, then it is a horrible time for a storm to begin to blow.
This passage could not be referring to natural winter, because it is always winter either in the northern or southern hemisphere.
6. During this time the “woman” church who is a true church which did not make it into the “manchild” of son class will be protected in the world and fed by the manchild church:
Revelation 12:1-3 “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven (the kingdom of God) a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:”
12:2 “And she being with child cried travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
12:3 “And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Who is this woman? Let us look at the symbolism of her name and we shall learn of her identity. The first thought in verse one is that she was in heaven. Verse three rules out the possibility of this scene being in God’s invisible heaven realm, because it says that the “red dragon” was also there. We must conclude therefore that this realm of heaven mentioned in verse 2 is a corruptible realm; it is here in the kingdom of God on earth. The woman is the church therefore if she is clothed with the sun, she must have the righteousness of Christ as her covering. When Adam fell from righteousness he lost his clothes and found himself naked. When Jesus arose from the grave he left his earthly clothes in the tomb, but came out clothed. Every angel of God is clothed. If you see a naked spirit it must be of the devil. She was clothed with the sun – the very glory of God. She is the true church; the true bride of Christ. The moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.
The moon is the church order with Bishops and Pastors and deacons, with Clergy and laity; the stars represent the authority of the apostles of the Lamb.
Sure – you want the scriptures for all this: Gen. 37:9-10 tells us that Joseph had a dream that the sun, the moon and the eleven stars bowed down before him, and Israel interpreted it that the sun meant himself, the moon his wife and the stars his sons.
Malachi 4:2, “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall.”
The prophet Malachi refers to Jesus Christ as the “Sun of Righteousness”.
Luke 1:78, “Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the DAYSPRING from on high hath visited us.”
Here again Zacharias the father of John the Baptist prophesying in the Holy Ghost calls Jesus Christ the “Dayspring” or the very source of Light.
The feeding of the Candlestick (lampstand) with oil by the two olive trees (two witness company) represents the Church being fed and taken care of by the power of the Spirit and the Word in a company of overcomers during the Tribulation period. (Zech. 4:1-6).
Another example of this is found in Revelation 12:
Revelation 12:14, “And to the woman were given (the) two wings of (the) great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
12:15 “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
12:16 “And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.”
The paternal care of El Shaddei (the big breasted God) Jehovah-Jireh, God the provided, and the Almighty (JHVH) Yahweh is evident in this passage: The Woman the church has no wings of her own, but when the attack of the serpent comes upon her Jesus Christ the Mighty Eagle (Exodus 17:4) gives her His wings (power to rise out of the carnal realm) just as he did to Israel in the wilderness. She rises above the reach of the serpent and flies to a place prepared for her in the wilderness, (in the world) not in outer space. She is then fed and nourished by the manchild church.
The indefatigable enemy, the serpent, now goes off to make war with the manchild. Since we have mentioned the word “Manchild” so often it is necessary to explain what is meant by this word. The church is always in scripture described as a woman, mainly because, in order to bring forth she must receive seed from her husband, Jesus Christ. The Manchild church will be entirely different; it will be Jesus Christ the head of us the body moving as one man through the earth and heaven realms. This will be the fulfillment of our prayer – “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.”
7. The perfected sons or manchild group will put an end to the persecution by offering their lives and in three and a half days, like Lazarus or Johan, they will resurrect with a public showing.
The first scripture I would like to discuss is found in Revelation 14.
Revelation 14:1, “And I looked, and lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand, having (his name and) his Father’s name written in their foreheads.”
This verse is loaded with meaning:
First we see the Lamb. The word Lamb is never used for Jesus unless it speaks of His sacrifice on Calvary. This makes the company with him to be a part of a Lamb company. No longer one Lamb, but many lambs – a people who will sacrifice themselves to finally break the rule of Satan on earth.
Secondly they were on Mount Zion. Zion speaks of perfection, and of overcomers. Zion is the number Seven which is perfection.
Thirdly their symbolic number was 144,000. This number in scripture means absolute completion in the fullness of Christ:
12 X 12 = 144 – Complete man X Complete Body
0 = Zero – the seed – Jesus Christ
000 = Fullness of Christ. (Genesis 3:14)
Fourthly – “The name of the Father and the name of the Son” written in their foreheads (Minds – Souls). This means that the nature of both the Father and the Son have become the Soul nature of the Overcomer. Ezekiel 9:3 and Revelation 7:3.
Revelation 14:4, “These are they which were not defiled with women; (Churches ) for they are virgins. (wise virgins) These are they which follow the LAMB wither soever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the LAMB.”
This verse clearly states that this group followed the Lamb in his sacrificial role, that they were redeemed, that they were the Firstfruits unto God and to Christ – this means they have become perfected humans. Along with this scripture goes a verse in I Corinthians which explains that some of the brethren will be perfected as firstfruits before the rest of the church:
I Corinthians 15:22, “For IN ADAM all men die even so IN CHRIST shall all be made alive.”
I have highlighted “In Adam” and “In Christ” because when you see it in this light it is easy to understand. Those who walk and live in the flesh man Adam are in death, and those who walk and live In Christ are in Life. (Romans 8:6)
I Corinthians 15:23, “But every man in his own order (rank): – (1) Christ (those in Christ) the firstfruits; (2) Afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.”
Here we see the resurrection in two parts:
(1) the Firstfruits first (before Jesus Christ comes down in a bodily form to earth), then
(2) the others at His coming.
This whole thing is explained in the story of the Two Witnesses: They prophesy for three and a half years, then they are killed and remain dead for three and a half days, then they rise again before everybody, conquering death even as Jesus Christ did. After overcoming death they are then alive forevermore – they will take over the rule of the world, overthrowing the evil thereof, and take the Kingdom for Jesus. This process of cleansing the earth is referred to in scripture at some point as the battle of Armageddon. All the evil will be burnt with fire and the church will be delivered from persecution and death. Jesus will then come and begin the Millennial reign. This is the story in a nutshell and every detail of it is well documented in scripture.
8. This will shock the whole world, and every soul who can be saved, will be saved. The beast and false prophet and all their armies will prepare to attack the saints.
The prophet Joel spoke of this shock to the human race in his prophecy in Joel second chapter:
Joel 2:32, “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth BLOOD, and FIRE, and PILLARS OF SMOKE.”
At Pentecost the apostle Peter quoted this prophecy as being fulfilled, but we need to understand it is the beginning of the fulfillments of the prophecy rather than the completion of it. In the first place we should notice that there was not Blood, there was the sign of fire, but no Pillars of Smoke, and the Sun did not turn into darkness, nor the moon into blood, but he Peter did say by the Spirit that it would be “BEFORE THAT GREAT AND NOTABLE DAY OF THE LORD COME.”
Joel 2:32, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.”
We have seen this scripture also partially fulfilled, but we shall see it in a much greater measure in its fullness in the future.
In Revelation and in Daniel we see prophecies pointing to a time when the devil and all his forces of the world will gather to fight a decisive battle against the Christians:
Revelation 19:19, “And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.”
9. But fire will come from the power of the spoken word and devour them and every evil weaponry and thing and set the earth free. This is the battle of Armageddon then will Jesus come and reign and rule bringing peace and longevity to the earth. We will regain our 1000 years of Life and Salvation will fill the earth.
This is the battle of Armageddon in which the forces of the world will be pitted against the saints of God in a hopeless and reckless effort to destroy not only the church but Israel and also the Bible which is the word of God. Their effort will be absolutely desperate, because the Overcomers shall have already come forth in the Image of Christ. The result is that the Sons of God will only have to speak the word, and the absoluteness of the Power of the Spoken word will destroy all the weapons of war and the evil from the earth through an unquenchable fire. Can you imagine the firemen of our cities using all their efforts to put out fires which will not die until they have cleansed the earth of all that has been invented by Satan and men to hurt and destroy humanity.
In order to confirm these thoughts, let us look at what the prophet Daniel had to say:
Daniel 7:26, “But the judgment shall sit, and they (the saints) shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
7:27 “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”
This is one of very many scriptures which clearly states that the saints will overcome Satan and the Beast and the Antichrist with his false prophet, and take the earth kingdom away from them and bring this whole realm into the realm of the Kingdom of God and Christ.
Here is another scripture which says the same thing in different words, and should also remember that the two witnesses had fire proceeding out of their mouth, which simply means the power of the spoken word:
Revelation 1:12 “And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; (the church).
1:13 “And in the midst of the seven candlesticks, one like unto the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
1:14 “His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;”
This is the picture of the matured church. The Seventh church or the center Lampstand (candlestick) is the one in which the Christ came forth. It would be profitable to trace the word “son of man”. Here the son of man is Christ and the church or the manchild.
Revelation 1:15 “And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
1:16 “And he had in his right hand seven stars: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.”
All the attributes named in these verses are the attributes spoken of elsewhere in scripture as those of the overcomer church. In your study I suggest that you look up these things, since it would be too much to show you them all. Let me however speak of one which you would not find without a revelation from the Lord.
The seven stars in his right hand:
These represent seven men of God who at all times throughout the ages are given the light of Christ to speak forth. No matter how dark the time is, spiritually speaking there is someone who has the truth.
These seven angels or messengers are seven ministers which God has given to watch over the seven areas of the church throughout the whole earth. As one dies, another takes his place. Seven is the number of God’s perfection and we know that our Completion in Christ will not come until the Body of Christ comes together.
Some of my readers, maybe in the past thought these sever stars were angelic beings since chapter 2 begins with the seven messages to the seven angels of the seven churches. One glance at these messages as I have seen them in the Spirit and you will agree with me that God could not say to an angel being from the realms of heaven: “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou has left thy first love; I will come upon thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”
