Ezekiel 9
1 “He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
2 “And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.
3 “And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;
4 “And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
5 “And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6 “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
7 “And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
8 “And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
9 “Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.”
It is not possible that Our Loving God, the tender “El Shaddai” the God of pity for His children, and our Saviour, could wantonly cast judgment and punishment upon us: His children: or could overdo judgment; Rather His judgment is full of compassion and even when He kills, in most instances He is rescuing us from our transgressions.
I am writing this word with a certain amount of urgency, because we have already entered this time of judgment.
Ez. 9:9 “Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.”
God will not judge the sinful world of its wickedness until He has judged His church, and the judgment of the church has begun. It will not stop until all that can shake is removed, and what we are seeing now is the shaking.
As a direct revelation from God let me say that the judgment which we have seen in the past months upon certain segments of the church is about to compass the whole church, and many more will fall and be completely destroyed as viable ministries in the near future.
The disgrace we have seen upon the ministry is a worldwide thing, and it is not entirely of the Devil or of man, but God himself is allowing this to happen because for years He has been pleading with us to bring us to true repentance and we have continued to pollute His sanctuary, and have not heeded His warnings.
“I will come unto thee quickly and remove the lampstand out of his place, except thou repent.” Rev. 2:5.
Many churches have lost their light, and are only religious organizations now.
In order to understand this word, we need to know first that the spiritual world and the natural world are parallel worlds. Whatever happens in the spiritual must manifest itself in the natural. The people who walk in the Spirit will have visions of the things which are to come in the natural because in truth and in fact, these things occur in the world of spirits some time before they manifest themselves in the natural world. The scripture says that Jesus Christ was slain from the foundation of the world, and if we must understand this, we have to see it in the spirit, that even before he received a human body, He was slain, and it took four thousand years afterwards before it was manifested on earth. Sometimes, because we are blind to the things of the Spirit we have to look at what is happening in the earth as a witness to what is happening in the spirit.
Israel My First Born:
Exodus 4:22 “And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
4:23 “And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.”
There is a country called Israel (Prince of God) and a people called Israelites but when God sees Israel, He sees more that the natural; He sees also the spiritual. Ruth was not Israel born, but was made an Israelite by her faith in God and attained unto the greatest honor by becoming a progenitor of Jesus Christ. We can look then at Israel and see the things which are happening to her today as a definite prophetic word of what has been happening to the church or the body of Christ. There is a great deal of unrest in Israel with fighting on the streets with hundreds being killed. This also is the condition of the church. The enemy has come into our fortress and war is being raged now from within.
Christians will experience the greatest attacks from the enemy we have ever had, because it will be from within. All the human frailties which we have taken for granted in the past will be bombarded until those who stand will only be standing on the merits of Christ. The scripture declares that the OUTER COURT will be given over to destruction for a time:
Rev. 11:2 “But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”
The Outer Court does not refer to all of the church, but only to a third part of it. There are three parts, (1) The Holy of Holies (2) The Holy Place (3) The Outer Court. The Outer court then, speaks of that part of the church which is yet carnal and “doing its own thing,” not in obedience to the will of God.
In another dimension of the word, the Outer Court refers to the human body; the human spirit being the Holy of Holies; the soul being the Holy Place.
You will notice in Ez. 9 the judgment was started in the Outer Court by the Brazen Alter, yet in verse 9 it spoke of Israel (Outer Court) and Judah (Holy Place). The Outer Court in the strategy of God will become totally indefensible: In the higher levels of spiritual warfare, God cannot defend the disobedient. I have seen Christians being beaten and harassed by devils but those same devils had to loose their hold and flee from other Christians. The glory of God is upon those who obey Him, and powerful angels stand by their side.
In the judgment of the church there are some who will not be hurt. “But come not near any man upon whom there is the mark.” Ez. 9:6. Those who have the mark in their foreheads, are those who “…sigh and cry for all the abominations…” This means they do not participate in the abominable practices of those who live in the carnal realms, they abhor the sins of the church as well as all sins. There are some of us who abhor the sin of the sinner, but we hide and excuse the sins of the Christian. The sin of the Christian is a greater sin then that of the sinner, because every time the Christian sins, he drives the nails deeper in the hands of Christ. The purging of the church, however, is a reality of our time; a reality which we must face up to and the wise will purge themselves and not wait upon God to expose them before they show any form of repentance. The hounds of hell are let loose upon us, and they are already digging into every corner and crevice of our lives, and our God has given us over to the fire, so that when it is all over, those who survive will be clean:
Malachi 3:3 “And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”
In a vision of God, I saw many of the mighty men of the church destroyed. As to what ‘destroyed’ means: I do not know: but the warning was that “a bomb is in the church, and it will explode and destroy all those who will not come out on the 20th. We see through a glass darkly, and sometimes it is only in hindsight that we can fully see what a word is saying. The 20th could mean the end of the age, which is closer than we think but those who receive the message would not care when the 20th really is, they would flee now. If I am in a building and there is a bomb in that building which is set to explode tomorrow, I would certainly leave immediately. The wise thing for ministers who rule churches in a one-man ministry to do is, to immediately ask God to help them to quit and with the help of God institute Divine Order. Divine Order is not just what we call “plural” ministry, but it must be plural ministry under God.
It is not God’s will for any one person to rule a group of people: but neither is it His will for any number of persons to rule a group. In other words what is worse than a one man ministry, is a many-man ministry. We have made this mistake so often. We say we believe in plural ministry, but in so doing we create a monster by making the ministry many-headed, instead of Christ being the one head over all. Again some feel that if Christ is my head the I do not need elders or leaders, but this is a wrong notion. Christ has ordained that the more matured brethren should stand as watchmen over the less matured and be called their elders or overseers, and that they should be examples to the flock. Everything, therefore, which is not in divine order will have to go in the restoration: and in going, many who do not want the truth will go into the anti-christ system. The human system of church government is called by God “Nicolaitanism,” Rev. 2:6 and 15. This word is derived from two Greek words: “Niko” = rule and “Laos” = people. Jesus Christ our Lord expressed this truth in Mat. 20:26 – “It shall not be so among you.” God’s expression twice repeated in Rev. 2 is “Which thing I hate.” The outer court church does not hate this, they love it; men rule at will; prey upon the sheep and get fat. I am glad that our Father has begun to intervene; I am glad for the cleansing of the temple.
According to the visions I have seen there are many more of the men of God whom we have been trusting for years, who will be exposed. We should pray for them, that God’s mercy might deliver them quickly. The covering shall be removed from the whole Roman Catholic System, (this does not mean the RC church only, but all her daughters also), and God shall create a mighty shaking first, then shall she be totally destroyed, later. The prophets of the churches are saying the opposite to this. They are prophesying prosperity and many years to come, but if we believe them, we will fall into the ditch with them. All this is awaiting the rising of the Sons of God. Those who are false teachers of the kingdom message will be also judged quickly. These have mixed the message of the Kingdom of God with heresies of all varying colors. Many of these preachers are fallen people who are hiding under the Kingdom Message. They fell in other places and never repented, but started a message of their own to cover sin. The people of God should know for sure, that the time of the restoration is at hand and the Lord will not any longer tolerate the evildoers who infest the body of Christ. The question is, Can a fallen person bring blessing to the body, and even healing to some? YES! “Let God be true and every man a liar.” If God should withdraw his blessings from His people because someone is walking in sin, then it would be counter productive to the Gospel. Some of the greatest miracles workers that you know had great faults of sin in their lives which they would not or could not let go. Finally every one of them fell, but many they have brought to the Lord are going on to this day.
New Phase of Warfare:
The battle against Satan and sin has entered a new phase. It is just like in a natural battle where the enemy would bring in tanks, and to counteract this we would have to bring in anti-tank weaponry. When he begins to strike us from above, we would have to bring in ground to air weapons. If he brings in poison gas, we would have to have masks, etc. So it is in this battle; the war is escalating, and Christians who refuse to put on the “whole armor” will not survive. The only difference in this battle is that the enemy is now throwing everything at us, so that if one has on a part of the armor and not the whole armor, he or she will surely fall. God, in his divine wisdom is allowing this so that although we will be bruised and battered, we will all eventually have on the whole armor and be victorious. The brethren who have gone on before, as well as those who are yet to come, have never had the satisfaction of defeating Satan and his hosts on this level, therefore heaven and earth await our victory. This is a battle to the death and we will hear of many mighty men fallen, but we should not fear or doubt the power of God to give the victory to us who are small and weak.
The Lord gave us the Old Testament as the scriptures. When Jesus was preaching on earth: and the Apostles followed Him, there was no New Testament as yet written, but they were actually writing the New Testament in their daily living and with their blood. Today we are also continuing the New Testament, since the prophesies of the Old and New Testaments are not yet fully accomplished. The final acts of Christ will be completed in us. Because of this it is very important that we overcome and be part of the overcomers of Rev. 2 and 3. There were seven churches mentioned in these chapters, which churches we are, or should be, and this age, the age of the Laodicean church, is the age of the greatest overcomers who will reign and rule with Christ. Let us read from 2 Kings 23 where Josiah cleansed the temple of the evil which had taken a strangle hold on Israel’s society. The parallel in this scripture and the situations in the church of today are very striking: The name Josiah has the three Hebrew letters of the name of Yashua (Jesus), “Ya shin hah”. He cleansed the temple of the worshipers of Baal (Nimrod or the god of sex, all forms of pornography) and the Sodomites. Let us read the scriptures then we can discuss the parallel positions of the modern church.
Gods of the Ancient World Revived:
2 Kings 23:5 “And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
23:7 “And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
23:13 “And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
23:24 “Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.”
Josiah was a type of Jesus Christ. The things which Josiah did were prophesied four hundred years before in I Kings 13:2; his very name was prophesied. He did everything that was prophesied of him in the cleansing of the temple.
It was prophesied of Jesus Christ: “And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.” Mal. 3:3.
The natural fulfillment of this scripture came when Jesus plaited a cord and scourged the people out of the temple who were buying and selling. The spiritual temple is our bodies so it transpires that the cleansing must come to us on an individual level as well as in a corporate level as the church. At Pentecost this cleansing began and it must continue until Tabernacles which historically must be in our time. The final cleansing of the church must come before the appearance of Jesus Christ in His temple. We feel that the present judgment which we now see upon the church is the hand of God cleansing us and that it is the precursor to His coming as a “Thief in the night.”
Let us look at the things which are being cleansed from us with an eye upon the cleansing in the time of Josiah (which means Jesus) and the cleansing which will come in our time in the church of Jesus Christ:
1.BAAL: – Nimrod was baal. His worship involved sexual orgies, sacrifice of humans, drinking and debauchery. The church will also be judged of sexual sin. I have known ministers who sacrifice the lives of women and children in order to keep alive the façade of their holiness; they are only paying homage to Baal. His birthday was kept up on the 25th December with drinking (he was also called Bacchus, the god of drink) with exhibition of many colored lights, along with feasting and revelry. The church of today is deeply involved in a Mass of Christ on the 25th of December which they keep unto Baal instead. In every detail this Mass is kept as the heathen used to keep it to Nimrod, long before Christ. For this we will be judged, so those who say they don’t worship Baal, let them reply to God who is the judge of all. If Christ should come at Christmas I hope we would be found watching.
2. The House of the Sodomites: Have we broken down the house of the sodomites or have we encouraged them in the church. A bill has just been passed in Congress which they call a Civil Rights bill, but it will be used to force churches and Christian institutions to employ sodomites as a minority. Sodomites are not a people, they are a class of sinners. Maybe Congress will soon pass a law to make adulterers, thieves, drug addicts, minorities also. Today most of the churches have taken a liberal attitude towards homosexuality, and some denominations even encourage homosexual congregations. Nobody is born a homosexual. Romans 1:20 says, “…They are without excuse:
Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
1:21 “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
1:22 “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
1:23 “And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
1:24 “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”
The sin of sodomy has no place in the church. In fact no sin has any place in the church; yet there are some sins which are greater than others. This sin makes men into “reprobates” (vrs. 28) which means they drive from them the Spirit of God and thus lose their ability to differentiate between good and evil. God knew that men would persist in homosexual pursuits and warned them of “AIDS” in verse 27, but today we have homosexual churches, and some of them are blaming God for the diseases which come from this ungodly practice. Alexander the Great was homosexual and a man of great violence. The ancient spirits that inhabited men like this are now active in our modern society. They are much wiser now and much stronger than they were in those days. These spirits are now ministering homosexuality to our children at school, through the television, through music written and sung by homosexuals, and through our educational system. It is possible that in the near future many of us will have to flee some liberal states with our children, and maybe even from the United States itself. This was the greatest country on earth, but it is heading for the greatest fall of any country on earth.
Prayer in the schools will plant the thought in the young minds that prayer is valuable for our existence. I know this for a fact because I was Principal of a school in Jamaica where we had prayers every morning and evening. We never forced any of the children to be saved and even gave some permission not to attend if it was against their religion, but the result is wonderful. Many of them in these latter years (20 years ago) are saved and following the Lord. This goes against the spirits of lust and carnality which is being ministered through our educational system. For this cause the Supreme Court (which is under the leadership of the devil, because it is based upon logic and humanism) will not allow prayer in the schools, and they will continue to foster the murder of innocent babies even as Pharaoh of Egypt did in the time of Moses, and Herod in the time of the birth of Jesus Christ. The women say that they should have power over their own bodies, yet the same Devil’s Court will tell you that attempted suicide is a felony. If places like Africa it is such a shame and a blot to have an illegitimate child that many women would rather murder the innocent unborn rather than face her piers. It is a worldwide problem brought about by the same spirits that destroyed the ancient civilizations.
Recently the Kenesset of Israel has also passed a law legalizing abortion and the murder of thousands of infants.
3.The mount of corruption: – Solomon the son of David, in his latter years, turned away from God and began to worship other gods. He built for them a mountain where he caused Israel to worship all the abominations of the heathen nations around Jerusalem. He was led away into sexual orgies into the temple of Isis, and actually took her evil worship into the temple of the Lord. The transgressions of Solomon corrupted Israel and these transgressions are the same ones that are battling us now in the church in 1988. The reason for this is that men transgress, for the most part because they are taken by spirits; nevertheless, men die, but spirits continue, AND not only grow in knowledge, but continue to maximize their natures in the human realm. Let us consider then, how viciously wise these ancient spirits must now be in our modern society and let us look at their ancient attributes with a view of comparison:
4.Solomon built a house for Ashtoreth, the abomination of the Zidonians: The name Ashtoreth is the Hebrew form of Astarte, the goddess of fertility of the Lebanese people which was adopted by Israel under Solomon and revived under Jeroboam, and never seemed to have left Israel throughout their history. She is identified with the Egyptian Isis and Hathor and in the Greko-Roman world with Aphrodite, Diana, and Juno. The Akkadlan form of her name was Ishtar and the Sabean form Athater. When the Philistines conquered Israel and killed king Saul, they put his armor in the temple of Ashtoreth Astarte as a tribute to the goddess for giving them the victory over Israel. The worship of sex was the chief business of this goddess and every means was used to bring the people under her power, even a law that every woman must serve time in the temple committing sacramental fornication. The abominations of bestiality, and every form of depraved and erotic human degradation that these names suggest, cannot be even mentioned in this media or from any pulpit. These are the things which Josiah had to cleanse from the temple: and which Jesus Christ our Lord must now cleanse from His temple, physically, mentally and spiritually.
5.On this mount of corruption there was another god called Chemosh, the abomination of the Moabites. He was their supreme deity. It is amazing that a man as Solomon who stood in the presence of God twice and spoke to Him face to face would make a god out of wood and stone and worship it as the supreme deity. However it should be noted that the worship of sex can drive mankind to do anything even worship things which are not gods at all. The modern man and woman is obsessed with sex.
They use it to advertise baby food; they are using it in the children’s cartoons; they are using it in the dresses they cause the women to wear, and I am ashamed to say that the women of the body of Christ delight in wearing the horrible abominations of the harlots of the mount of corruption. Jesus Christ will cleanse us with “fire and blood and pillars of smoke,” and then shall we know if those who spoke to us day after day were “clothes line” preachers, or true men of God who heard a word from God whose voice He said “My sheep will hear.”
The stars are falling:
In Revelation Chapter 8:10 the word declares that a “Star fell from heaven”. We cannot take it in the natural if we do then the Revelation and all things pertaining to the earth would have to stop there. Since the earth would be destroyed and finished. We must therefore take this in the Spirit. Spiritually the word “star” means minister or ministers. The “waters” must be taken spiritually also to mean “the word of God”. It killed men when they drank these waters. This is happening in our time. The doctrines of devils are being mixed with the word of God by many of the ministers of our time and are destroying millions of people.
Another star fell in Revelation 9, and this one was given the key to open up hell on earth and he did. The result was war and death and destruction.
The mass falling of stars however is in Revelation 12, where Satan, the red dragon, was given power to pull down a third of the stars of heaven. Of course, this might well mean the outer court third of the church. This happened just before the manchild was born and during the travail of the woman (church).
The dragon beast is an organization, it is the organization of the apostate church. The word “heaven” in verse 3 means the Kingdom of heaven. The seven heads and ten horns are the seven apostate churches and their ten leaders. N.B. The crowns are on his heads. It is the apostate Nicolatian church system in its ecumenical dimension having joined and become one with Satan himself.
Here, even as Christ has a many membered body, Satan has a many membered Organization. As Christ has seven churches so does Satan.
He who has ears to hear let him hear what the spirit says unto the churches.
Many preachers and others are saying at this late hour “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, I will heal the land,” but we should know for sure that the only land that can now be healed is the spiritual land of God’s people. We are His possession and our prayers should be directed to heal this land of God which has been marred by the fingers of man.
Cry aloud, lift up your hearts and voices and cry to God, “God save thy people,” for the hour of judgment is upon us and none will turn it back by their prayers or their chanting.
There was on place in scripture which was just recently brought to my attention where Jesus CRIED OUT WITH A LOUD VOICE. It was His last utterance from the cross, and the scriptures declared that there He gave up the ghost. I do believe that that cry SHOOK THE VERY FOUNDATIONS OF HEAVEN, AND I BELIEVE THAT HEAVEN ANSWERED WITH AS GREAT A CRY OF TRIUMPH AT LAST A MAN HAD COME THROUGH AND ALTHOUGH HE WAS BEING TAKEN INTO HELL, THEY KNEW HE HAD WON THE VICTORY OVER SIN, AND ONLY THE DEVILS WERE STUPID ENOUGH NOT TO KNOW THAT HE WAS ABOUT TO BREAK HELL WIDE OPEN AND TO LIBERATE THE SPIRITS OF THE SAINTS FROM SATAN’S PRISON.
I feel a cry of triumph in my soul:
Rev. 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
Rev. 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Rev. 17:1 “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:”
Children of God – Consider the great red dragon and flee form her for she is stained with the blood of the saints and her judgment is come.
