It is God’s way to send a “forerunner” or watchman to warn His people whenever great happenings are to take place. At the advent of Christ, John the Baptist was sent as a forerunner, and Jesus Christ described him in Matthew 11:14 as “…Elijah, which was for to come” before the coming of Messiah. There is, however, a prophecy (Malachi 4:5) that said that there would be yet another Elijah coming, “…before the great and dreadful day of the Lord.” This Elijah is a body of people or a watchman church which is sent to awaken the Church.
I first began to hear this voice in 1948 through the prophetic ministry of a man named William Branham. (Note: 1948 was also the same year that the state of Israel was reborn.) It would be very easy to find a lot of faults and weaknesses in any one of us, but when we divide the “Thus saith the Lord” word from the man, we find that God did indeed speak in 1948, which was also the time of the birth of the “Latter Rain” movement. This prophetic, Elijah forerunner ministry began to grow from that time, which I would classify as the beginning of the trumpet call to the Church to awake, until now which I would classify as the end of the trumpet call to the Church to awake.
We see many true prophets arising today in the Church, and also many false ones and many pretenders. Besides all this, there is the voice of prophecy within the Church itself, so that every true child of God is receiving some sort of signal from the realms of heaven concerning the end of time. At this time, therefore, God has sent and is sending into the Body of Christ, prophets and prophetesses. It is Zion that we are speaking about, and He said,
“The Lord shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem” (Joel 3:16, Amos 1:2).
These are people who have paid the price, and have maintained their foothold on the mountain of God so that they may be watchmen to see above the heads of the people and warn them of the good and of the evil.
Let us read from Matthew 25:6,
“And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”
Who made the cry? Was it the sleeping body crying out to herself? It was the watchman who never slept. I see this as the prophetic ministry which God has placed in the Church. We note from history that God always had someone to cry aloud no matter how dark it was in Israel. This then is what we are dealing with at this moment. The ministry that “…sighs and cries” (Ref. Ezekiel 9:4) in the earth is none other than that Elijah ministry.
Malachi 4:5-6, “Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the Lord. And he shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
In this year’s July convention in Champaign, Illinois, such a word came very strongly with many witnesses. We are not able to print here all that was given, but in the next issue we will publish the rest of it.
We have in this issue the prophetic message shared at that convention by Brother Tom Campbell, and also similar words from two other sisters who were not in these meetings but who also move in the prophetic realm and who have been hearing the Lord speak the same things as came forth in this convention. The first is Sister Sharon Buckmaster who was in a terrible accident some months ago in which she suffered some life-threatening injuries: hemorrhage of the brain, broken ribs, a punctured lung, fractured pelvis, collapsed lung, severe lacerations, etc. Her husband Bruce also had serious injuries including a fractured neck, broken ribs, and broken collarbone. God intervened to save their lives, and Sharon remained unconscious for some weeks. Out of this tribulation, God has been speaking to her. Her testimony of His words is part of this article. We have also included a word of prophecy from Sister Janet Jantzi. These are the witnesses we present before you in this article. MAY GOD HELP US TO BE READY FOR HIS COMING.
It Is Now Time

(Message given at the July 1996 Living Word/Omega Message Convention in Champaign, Illinois)
Let us begin with a reading from Habakkuk, the second chapter, and Verses1-3,
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
Yesterday, when Brother Mark Jantzi spoke he mentioned about the time. In the meeting last night, Brother George Herrig got up, and continued on with the thought about time. The Spirit of God has been emphasizing to many of us, if not all of us, the time frame in which we are now living.
I am not just saying it because it sounds like nice phraseology, but I believe that we are in the end time and in the seventh day. I believe that we are not just coming to the beginning of the seventh day, but I believe that we are already in it! I believe, because of this, things are happening very rapidly. Things are coming to pass very quickly. They are not tarrying as they used to.
Some of us have had this hope in us for years. For fifteen or twenty years we have had this hope in us that we would see our redemption come, but we haven’t seen it yet. We have not seen the fullness of it. In fact, there have been some that have used it as a byword. They have said, “Well, they spoke those things for years, and we have not seen it come to pass.” However, there is a time that is appointed of the Father. That time, we are not well acquainted with yet like we should be. That time has nothing to do with our time. We can speculate. We can guess. We can hope all we want, but there is a time appointed of the Father. When the Father says, “It is time,” He will not change it. There will not be an extension. They will not say, “Well, give me another day, Lord. Give me another hour.” When the Lord declares that this is the end of the day, it will be the end of the day.
Night is coming, and that night can be typed in many ways. I have always looked at it as the unleashing of the Satanic forces in such a tremendous way that if we do not know God now, it will be very difficult to stand at that time. Others have taught us that we will not go through any persecution, or tribulation, or any of this. People have lied to us. We are already in it, and we have been for some time.
The message I am going to share this morning is on a dream I had recently, which I think I have shared with only one person. I feel it is appropriate. I feel it is apropos and it is in time with what the Spirit is saying. It is in cadence with the Holy Ghost.
Several months ago, I had quite an unusual dream. I saw a large building. I thought at first when I went into the building that it was perhaps a large ballroom. However, I noticed that it had several compartments, and that these compartments were partitioned off. I noticed that in each compartment there was a grouping of people.
I noticed that the people that I was to address were very quiet and attentive. They were ready for the word. They wanted the word, and they were waiting for it; while in the next compartment there was a lot of music and dancing, and shouting and singing. The people there were rejoicing and really having a good time of it, but I was preparing to go to this other people who were apparently ready for the word. They were waiting. They were very quiet. They were very attentive, and they seemed to be very open.
So, as we prepared to go, there was a woman who stopped me before I could gain entrance into this room. She stopped me, and she said, “Would you please come and pray for this man?” Now, I did not know who the man was, and whether it was her husband, or a friend, or what. I said, “Well, I need to get into this meeting. The people are waiting.” She said, “But, can’t you come now and minister to this man? He is very ill.” I said, “Well all right, but it must be quick!”
So, in the dream we started to go where she was going to take us, and I said, “Where is this man?” She said, “You will have to find him. He’s hiding.” I said, “Well, why would he be hiding?” She said, “Well, he is hiding. You have to go find him.”
There was another brother with me in the dream, and we both began to look for this man. We found him hiding behind a bush, and we brought him into a little room outside these rooms that were opened. By the way, the doors were opened to all of these rooms that were in this large building, and each room had a different grouping of people.
As I began to pray for this man, I knew that the people would become impatient. They would not wait. If I didn’t hurry up and pray for this man and get back to them in haste, they would not wait. So, we began to pray; and this other brother with me prayed, and the woman stood by.
As we began to pray for this man, I noticed as we prayed that actually worms and parasites began to come out of his body. It was just like a body that dies, and after so many days it decays; and when it decays, the worms and the parasites begin to eat it up.
I said, “We are not praying hard enough! We are not praying hard enough!” So, we began to pray in earnest, and as we began to pray, even in earnest, I saw that more worms and parasites began to come out of his body and they began to devour the body, the flesh. As I was praying, I noticed that it continued, and this prayer went on for a long time. It was not a quick prayer, like sometimes we do, where we pray and lay hands on somebody and they seem to get deliverance or what they need almost instantaneously. This was a long prayer, it took time, and I was thinking in the back of my mind, “Well, if we do not hurry up with this, these people are not going to wait. They are going to get impatient and they are going to leave.” So, I had that thought in mind, but we continued to pray. I felt this was more important and as we continued to pray, these worms and parasites completely devoured the body until all that I saw was just the bones.
The head was not touched. It was not touched. The head was perfect. The parasites did not touch the head, but just the rest of the body. As I looked, and I saw this, I said, “Well, there’s nothing left! These worms and these parasites have completely destroyed this body.” As we continued to pray, I noticed then, that just in a moment (like a snapping of the finger) that this body was clothed (completely clothed) with new flesh. It looked like new flesh, but it was not just the physical kind of body that we have. It was as a translucent body. It was a body that you could almost see through, and yet it was a perfect body.
So I noticed that as we had continued to pray that almost in an instantaneous way, this body was changed, and it was perfect, and this man stood up. This woman, of course, was rejoicing with the fact of this man standing up. I never was told by this woman, “This is my husband.” “This is my friend.” I never was told by this woman who this person was.
Now, as I turned to go to minister to the people, I knew before I ever got to the door that they were not there. When I got to the door, I looked, thinking perhaps that some left and some stayed. However, as I looked closer, I noticed that there was not a person there. Not one person waited. Not one person was patient. I was looking for them all over that room. It was totally empty.
I went out into the hallway again, and saw that they had joined this group next door to us, and they too were now rejoicing. They continued to rejoice and sing, and there were many instruments playing; there was singing and they were just having a good time. I noticed that they had joined that, so I wondered and I sat down, and I said to the Lord, “Now, Lord, where are the people?” The Lord said, “They have left. They have gone back.” I said, “Well Lord, isn’t there anyone?” He said, “Yes,” and then He began to relate the dream to us.
Years ago we were in Schuyler and the Lord brought a word through us about a shaking coming, and a change coming. We ministered on Korah and how they came against Moses and Aaron and rebelled. I said prophetically that there was coming a great shake up in this fellowship and in this body, and there was. There was a tremendous shake up; and the Lord has healed that and brought back, of course, into fellowship most of those that had left.
I really questioned it at the time. You know, you give things like this, and then you question, and you say, “Is that really the Lord?” Is that really God speaking, or is it something, you know, out of your own mind or your own heart.
I have always tried to be very careful not to speak presumptuously. I have learned through some bitter experiences to be very careful when it comes to the word of the Lord. I am not saying that I have never made a mistake, but I am saying that I have tried to be very careful in what I have said, because I know people have had great confidence in us and in the prophetic ministry that the Lord has entrusted in us. So I went to the Lord and I began to pray, and I did not have an answer.
My son Tony had a dream at that time. He was quite young. You might say that he did not know anything about anything, but God gave him a dream; and in the dream, he saw it was Satan himself that had come there to cause that division and to stir up the evil spirit in the midst of that place.
So that happened, and that came to pass. Then, about three years ago the Lord spoke to me again. He said that there was coming another shaking and a division, and this too has happened. It happened not too long ago in Schuyler, and some folks have left, and some have left with bitterness.
So these words have come to pass. They are not just words we speak lightly or presumptuously, but they have come to pass; and now the Lord has begun to speak to us again, only in a much deeper and a more serious way. For it not only involves one particular body, but the whole Body.
As we went back into the dream, the Lord began to interpret it to us. This man who we prayed for in the dream was the man child. The woman in the dream was concerned about this man child (the Church), and there was nourishment for a time and a season by the woman. We know from Revelation 12 that he was nourished for a time and a season, and he is hidden in a certain place that is prepared for him when the enemy tries to come and destroy him.
The death and decay that we saw was the complete annihilation of Adam. Adam would have nothing in this man child. There would be no characteristic or trait that would carry over from Adam, but this would be a complete new creature or creation in Christ. It would be a total, complete change. It would not be just a partial thing.
You know, sometimes when you have a cancer or tumor and go in for an operation and they remove that cancer or that tumor, for some people they can lengthen their years maybe five or ten years. However, what God was doing here was completely, destroying all flesh. We are living in the day when no flesh shall live. All flesh shall be destroyed, and no flesh will glory in His presence. So it is a day that is the end of all flesh!
It is not just the end of sin, my friend—and I do not put sin in categories, that one sin is worse than another sin. When I was Catholic we did. We had venial sins, and we had mortal sins. Mortal sins were bad, you know. Venial sins were when you miss Mass, or tell a little fib, or do something that wasn’t so bad. Mortal sin, however, was very bad! I mention this because I think that there has been a carry over in Pentecost where people have emphasized the immoral sins and have forgotten all about rebellion, and stubbornness, and lying, and cheating, and muzzling the ox. I think we have forgotten some of these things, and yet they are equally as important and sinful. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, YOU CAN TOTALLY LOSE OUT WITH GOD IF THERE IS REBELLION OR STUBBORNNESS IN YOUR HEART, AND A REFUSING TO DO IT THE WAY THAT GOD WANTS US TO DO IT. IT IS JUST AS SERIOUS! SO I NEVER PUT SIN IN A CATEGORY. ONE IS JUST AS BAD AS THE OTHER IS.
I know some people that are morally clean. I mean, you could not touch them with a ten-foot pole, but they are the biggest liars that have ever walked on the face of the earth. They are the biggest, most rebellious people you have ever talked to. Pride is in their hearts and in their minds. Saints, I tell you, there is no categorizing of sin! Sin is sin in the sight of God, and God is destroying ALL that pertains to Adam, and sin with it! Sin is not going to have dominion over us! Alleluia! There is no more excuse now that we can give as to why we have done this, and why we have done that. We are people of light and we are people of truth, and God has given us truth and light. If we do not walk in that light, my friend, then the only place we can go is into darkness!
God was showing us in the dream the complete, total destruction of the Adamic nature. The head does not need to be perfected. It is already perfect. So the worms and the parasites in the dream are all the things that pertain to the nature of Adam.
Tommy Cook asked me one time if God had ever shown me myself…my Adamic self. I said, “Yes, but I do not feel to tell you what He showed me. I do not want to tell you.” He said, “No, what is it?” I said, “Well, at one time, He showed me as a pit of vipers.” Now, that’s terrible! What He showed was absolutely terrible, and I don’t think I got over it for weeks! I said, “God, this is such a terrible thing. Are you saying that all these vipers are in me, and yet I am a Christian, and born again and filled with the Spirit? How can this thing be, Lord?” The Lord said that He was not talking about the actual snake itself, but of the nature of the viper. You look up the nature of vipers, and you will find out just what the nature of it is. Not only that, but you find out that it is even depicted in Scripture as unruly tongues, and speaking evil of our brethren. The tongue no man can tame. It is like a poison asp. It says in James that it is devilish in character.
So God was showing us here, the destroying of the Adam nature and the perfecting of the man child. You know, if this work were left to us, we would not do a very thorough job. However, God is very thorough! He does not miss one corner or crevice of our being! He gets into every darkened corner there is, and He causes His light to reflect in there and show us every hidden thing. I believe that every hidden thing that has been in us is coming to light now. We cannot cover it up anymore! We cannot hide it any more. It is going to come out in the open, for every valley in us will be exalted, and every mountain and high and lofty thing shall be brought low. Hallelujah!
However, the thing that disturbed me was that I was being taken away from the saints. God put more priority on this man child than He did going and ministering. I wonder if God knew their hearts. I am wondering if God perhaps knew the hearts of those people, and that is why He said, “No! You pray for this man child!” For I believe the man child represents a corporate Body. Not one person, but a corporate, overcoming Body that has been cleansed, purged, and purified to where there is no more Adam there. There is no more flesh there, but now Christ is ruling, truly ruling and reigning in this house, in this temple, and over this city. Glory!
So I was troubled by that and I said, “Well, Lord, you are putting priority then onto praying for the man child. Are you saying that the time is short? Are you saying that You are turning and You are MAKING A CHANGE?”
You know, there was a time that the Lord turned from the Jews. We say, “Oh, that would never happen! We are God’s little honeys! His favorites!” However, I have news for you! IF WE DO NOT FOLLOW ON TO KNOW THE LORD, HE WILL CHOOSE HIM ANOTHER PEOPLE! HE WILL CHOOSE A PEOPLE OUT OF A PEOPLE IF HE HAS TO! There was a time (Acts 13:42-45) where the Lord spoke to Paul. The Gentiles had come to him and said, “Won’t you come and preach to us like you preached to the Jews”; and he did! The Jews were very upset. They said, “Why did he do it? They are unclean people. They are unsaved! They are not the chosen ones.”
You see, for a time Israel thought that they were the only ones chosen of God; but in Acts 9 we read of how Paul was called of God, and God said, “…For he (Paul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.” He was called to bring the gospel of the kingdom of God to the Gentiles. Alleluia!
Friends, I want to tell you something this morning. God has a remnant body scattered all around the world. It is not just us! They are a people that have been earnestly and sincerely seeking after God. He has a people who are earnestly seeking after God, and whose hearts are open. In Germany, in India, in Africa, in Czechoslovakia, in Hungary, in England, in Scotland, in Ireland—God is raising up a people! A man child! Out of every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and they will be the people of God! Saints, we need to stir ourselves this morning, and stir up the Holy Ghost within us! THE TIME HAS RUN OUT! THE SAND IN THE HOURGLASS HAS RUN OUT, AND NOW IS THE TIME OF REPENTANCE AND THE TIME OF CALLING UPON GOD!
This is the day, saints! Our minds in the past have been so divided. We have been divided on the mission program. You say, “I do not like to hear that. I wish you wouldn’t say that.” But every time I come around, I mention it. Isn’t that terrible? That is really terrible of me to mention it, isn’t it? However, it is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth! We have failed in that area! Do you hear me? We have failed! We have not succeeded in that area! We have failed! All of us have failed in that area!
We have given to the cause that we felt was the cause, whether it was a person or the poor. You know what Jesus said when the woman came and ministered to Him. She anointed His feet with her tears and with precious oil. The disciples were much concerned about it, and said, “This is expensive. You should give this to the poor.” Jesus said, “The poor you will have always. I (Jesus)…I! I come first!”
Sometimes we give to the wrong cause… to the wrong person… at the wrong time! God has called us as a people, and as a corporate body, and if we are going to be a part of this man child, my friends, there are some changes that are going to have to be made, and one of them is in the finances. Some of us have held back, and held back, and held back! God is going to deal with you! This is the day that God is saying, that it is either now or never!
You can go on your merry way if you want, and forget what I have said, and say, “Oh, that Campbell! He always comes along. Didn’t he say something about an economic disaster was coming? I never saw it!”
You know what? They said to the prophets of old, “Where is the promise of His coming? You prophets prophesied and we do not see it happening. You said it is coming like tomorrow, or the next day. It didn’t happen!”
GOD IS GOING TO MAKE THOSE WORDS [COME TO PASS AND WE ARE GOING TO COME TO GREATLY REGRET WHERE WE DID NOT TAKE HEED TO THEM, AND ONE DAY WE ARE GOING TO REALIZE AND SEE THAT GOD HAD INDEED BEEN SPEAKING TO US AND WARNING US]. SAINTS, WE WILL DO IT WITH MUCH REPENTANCE AND SORROW BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO MISS THE BOAT.
Come on! We can come in and be challenged by the word that has been brought to us thus far, but God now wants to get down to our hearts. Amen! Amen! This here is just like going to the dentist and getting drilled, and when he touches the nerve you say, “Oww!” God wants to touch that nerve in us.
When I saw what God was saying to me and what God is saying to us, I was deeply concerned! Saints, it wasn’t something I rejoiced in. I wept sore when God was saying this to me. I said, “What are you saying, Lord? Are you saying that, “This people that turned from Me. I will let them go. They can go in their own way. They can do their own thing?”
You can say, “Oh, that prophet…that brother…that’s what he always says!” You can live that way, and think that way if you want, but I will tell you something—IT IS GOING TO COME TO PASS! WE ARE GOING TO SEE IT!
You know, concerning the economic thing, we always believe everything the media says. We do not believe what God says. If God says that there is coming an economic crash, then it is coming! In fact, I think behind closed doors it already has taken place. Tell me that the economic thing is not ready to crash in America. We are trillions of dollars in debt! Something has to give, sometime, somewhere. Saints, your money is going to perish with you! You hang on to it and you are going to lose it. Amen!
We failed in the mission program. We have failed in the building of the house of the Lord. There are some of us that could have opened the bowels of our compassion and really given, and we have not. We failed in the support of the ministries. We have failed in that area! We have not obeyed the Lord.
We say, “Well, there is the poor…” and, “There is this emergency here….” Yes, we should give when there is a need and it arises. However, I think we should also give, in a consistent way, to the Lord. The Lord said, “You have the poor with you, but Me you do not have.” So, what was more important? Taking the money and putting it in the sack, “We are going to give it to the poor and needy. There’s a poor Christian over there…they really need help.” The Lord said, “You give to Me! It is more important that you give to Me and My work.” If we are giving to God, we are giving to His work and we are giving to His ministry. However, if we do not do it, it is a form of rebellion.
So then, “What happened, Brother Campbell? You didn’t finish it about the dream.” As I wept sore and I cried, the Lord made me to know that very soon and very quickly this is going to happen. In fact, to a point that there is no more time for us to consider it, and think about it and pray about it. SAINTS, WE EITHER ACT RIGHT NOW AND ENTER IN, OR WE WILL BE IN THAT GROUPING THAT WILL FALL AWAY!
FALLING AWAY! GOING BACK! THAT IS THE PICTURE OF WHAT THEY WERE DOING IN THIS DREAM. THEY WERE GOING BACK TO THE OLD ORDER. GOING BACK TO THE OLD WAY OF THINGS. Listen, God has brought us thus far and I am not about to turn around and go back. Alleluiah! I have come out of some things and I am not going back into it! No way! No how! Never!
THE SPIRIT IS SAYING THAT THE TIME IS SHORT AND IF THERE ARE THINGS THAT WE NEED TO GET RIGHT WITH ONE ANOTHER WE HAD BETTER DO IT NOW! IF THERE ARE THINGS WE HAVE TO GET RIGHT WITH GOD WE HAD BETTER DO IT NOW! FOR I TELL YOU, AND I KID YOU NOT, THAT VERY SUDDENLY (WHEN EVERYBODY THINKS IT IS PEACE, PEACE), THERE IS COMING SUDDEN DESTRUCTION. IT IS COMING VERY SWIFTLY!
In the midst of all this, God is dealing with us. Why is He dealing with us? It is because He has chosen us, and whom He chooses He chastens. Amen! So, He is chastening us, and He is doing a work in our hearts and in our lives. It is going to be a thorough work! A complete work! It is not going to just scratch the surface any more, and just deal with some petty sin, or weakness, or hang up; but He is going to deal with the whole man. Amen!
Some of us have walked in our own ways, and God has been dealing with me about that. I can no longer walk in my own ways. I cannot just choose of my own choosing. This trip to Czechoslovakia, I did not have any great leading to go, but in talking to Brother duCille, I felt the need and I felt the responsibility. I said, “Lord, I will go.” I am going to go the 26th of this month.
I feel that God has set us on the watch, and I feel we need to stay in our ministry. Not just teaching all the time, but also bringing the prophetic word. You have a right to judge everything that we bring.
I feel as though, because time is short, that we need to do what we are going to do now! We are not to put it off for tomorrow, and say that it is for another time and another season, or when it is convenient. Some of us have come here with many thoughts on our mind, but we need to get our mind on what God is doing here and what He is saying to us. He is saying it to all of us, including me, that we need to prepare ourselves to meet God! Now!
(Prophecy)
…Yea, ye weary Me. Yea, with thy sayings and with thy goings and with thy doings, ye weary Me. For have I not spoken unto thee once, yea twice? Have I not even told thee, yea, to prepare thine self for this day that was coming, that it was an evil day and it was a day of darkness and gloom, and gross darkness. Did I not warn thee and tell thee, yea, to pray and to watch, for the enemy is approaching to destroy thee?
Yea, for I say unto thee, I have set, as it were, the hourglass and the sands of time. Yea, they have been going down and going down, and there is no more time left for you to consider and to think.
Yea, but it is a time of saying, “Yes Lord, I will arise and I will shake myself from my slumber. I will shake the dust of the earth from me, and I will arise and come to Zion. Yea, I will arise Lord and come to Zion, for there is the law of the Lord coming forth, and I need Thy law. Oh God, that I would not only hear with my ear, but Lord I would hide it in my heart, that I might even be cleansed.”
So I say unto thee, take not lightly the word of the Lord that has come to thee in the past, and even during these meetings. For surely I am speaking unto thee. Let thy ear be unstopped, and hear thou what My Spirit is saying unto thee. For I tell thee, if you hear not and you refuse and you rebel, I will turn to another people and I will raise them up, yea, even in your stead. For I will have My supper, yea, even filled with guests and with those that I have called and have chosen.
I say unto thee therefore, yea, turn away from thine own way and seek the Lord thy God with all thine heart. For I say, this is the time when I would come to thee and visit thee, and I would deliver thy soul, and I would deliver thee out of thine horrible pit; and yea, I would set thee free in thy mind and in thy spirit. Yea, for thou hast been bound in thy heart and spirit. Thou hast been deaf, and not heard the word in the inner man of thy being. But thou has heard with thy natural ear, and thou has comprehended with thy natural mind, and thou hast reasoned among thyself, and said thus and so, and thus and so; but I say unto thee, do not reason any longer. Do not say in thy mind and in thy heart, “What it really means is thus and so…” but accept thou the word and let thou the word deal with thine heart and cleanse thee and purge thee. That thou can say, “Lord, here am I. I am waiting before Thee, and I am standing in Thy presence that Thou would now visit me.”
Yea, for I will come swiftly. Yea, and I will cleanse My temple, but I shall also fill My temple….
Glory to God! I think that God is dealing with every one of our hearts this day, and during these meetings, I believe this is going to be a time of the falling and rising of many. I believe during this time that there is going to have to be some serious decisions made in our hearts and lives. Maybe, before we leave this meeting, or maybe after, we are going to have to make some choices. We cannot go on the way it has been going.
God is not pleased with our attitude thus far. God wants to change that, as we submit ourselves unto Him. It is so much easier than fighting against His pricks. Oh saints, let us yield ourselves to Him! This morning, let us just submit ourselves to the Lord. The Lord is touching us, and the Spirit is touching our heart. Let us be honest with ourselves and with God. We know we have failed in these areas. Maybe not all, but a good part have failed. In one of these areas we have failed.
Let us ask God, therefore, to forgive. Let us ask God to give us true repentance. Not just something we say with our lips, but that which comes from our hearts, so that from today on and from this convention on, there will not be any lack in God’s house. There will be no lack in the ministry. There will be no lack in the foreign missions. Oh saints, we have really failed in these areas. We need to seek God. Amen! You know, if our heart is not right with God, and we do not respond when God deals with us about things that we are doing wrong, then we will never respond in giving. If our hearts are not right, we will never respond in giving.
One thing that God asks for is a willing heart. Not to give grudgingly, but from a willing heart. If our heart is wrong with God, and we are not obeying God, and we are not repenting and we are not responding with His dealings with us, then we will never respond to giving. It is from the heart! Amen! God has to deal with our hearts, which is our nature…. Ω
