In order to keep the flow of thought from the last issue, we will quote here the last paragraph:
The Conclusion is that the Jews Who Receive the Promise of the Lord Under Abraham, Who Live in That promise, must get the fulfillment of that promise. (God is not slack concerning His promises-2.Peter 3:9) Those who are not Jews but believe, (or doubt) as they do will also come under that promise. Those who accept the promise under Jesus Christ will come into the promise through Jesus Christ, BUT in the end all things will come under Christ – all Them That Belong To God Must In The End Come Through Jesus Christ – Amen.
Let us then take one step further:
Those who take the curses that pertain to sin and satanic living, and are under Satan, will receive their portion according to Satan under his curse. We are walking therefore in a place of freedom, where we can place ourselves, by choice, under whatever order we desire. The fearful part of this matter is that people inadvertently place themselves under the wrong order through ignorance or sheer folly. The tendency is to blame God, but every act of self will or the carrying out of the will of some other agency is in fact a rejection of the will of God. – God has given us absolute freedom in making our choice, plus the power to resist evil. The Holy Ghost is always showing us the right way. Many times we reject the word of the Holy Ghost because we have such a burning desire to do the opposite of His will. One day a sister came to me with a problem. She wanted to do a certain thing, but experienced a feeling of uncertainty as to whether it was the right thing or not. After praying with her God gave me the knowledge that the very feeling she was experiencing was indeed the voice of the Holy Ghost. If it was the will of God for her to do this thing, then she would not feel this deep uncertainty. We need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit when He is dealing with us. God will not allow his children to remain in ignorance, but will make every effort to bring enlightenment to us even sometimes from a direction we would not expect it. Once we were waiting on the Lord for a word and He sent a drunk woman to tell us what to do. “This is the condemnation that light is come into the world and men prefer darkness………” John 3:19. We are not going down into darkness because we were born that way; there is no such thing in God; Man must deliberately make his choice, either light or darkness. God in Jesus Christ has made the way and there is no possibility of one slipping into hell because he did not hear the message of truth. In order to be qualified for hell one must hear and reject Jesus Christ. Christ Jesus therefore stands at the crossroads of human life. Every human being must receive a witness of Jesus Christ in his or her lifetime, if it is even the last moment of life.
John 1:9 “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”
The Jews A Symbol ?
Let us reiterate the question: Are the Jews of today a symbol of the Church of God?
Remember in my story in the previous part of this word, I told you that I asked God if He was speaking of the natural Jew when He said, “Jerusalem is compassed about with armies,” and He did not answer, and I said that God did not answer because the question was superfluous. In my understanding I was dividing God’s Israel into natural and spiritual, but in God’s knowledge there is only one Israel. There is no barrier to anyone being a part of God’s Israel. God’s Israel today is an incomplete operation. It is incomplete because it comprises of men and man is not complete.
Some call themselves Israel, and they have good cause in that they are children of Abraham, and they have faith in God. Another set are Christians because they accept Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. They are both under the promises of God through faith. One has faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God, and the other has faith in God and are ignorant of Jesus Christ – BUT God has promised that the other sheep which are not of this fold – “Them also will I bring.” I have met a man who loves God but calls himself a Moslem, and he calls God “Allah”. We need not go into the true meaning of the word but in some places the meaning of the word, “Allah” is dubious as to whether it means Jehovah God or some other god. Men and devils have so mixed up all manner of heathenism with the gospel, that many innocent persons have a twisted concept of God.
The Christian who thinks that he cannot serve God well without keeping certain days as holy days, (Sunday etc.) or that he must be a member of some organized religious system, is deceived and does not see God clearly, but this does not exclude him from being part of Israel, though in some measure of ignorance. I find so many Christians who say God says so and so, when God did not say anything of the sort. When therefore, we look at the situation in its broadest spectrum we understand that God is dealing with man on all levels in order to bring them and us into one Israel.
Let us look at:
Romans 9:6 “For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel….”
The Apostle Paul is here explaining to the Jews that God’s plan for Israel, disqualified those who were not spiritual children of Abraham, even though they were born of Abraham. We find therefore that a person who was not born of Abraham could be classified as Israel if he or she had faith in God. Now, to have faith in God and to know the Messiah is another step of that faith. There are people who have faith in God but do not know the Messiah. How can that be? Salvation only comes by Jesus Christ, and in Him alone is salvation. If the Jews call Him “Messiah”, and the Greeks call Him, “Iesous”, and we call Him, “Jesus”, and in many other languages they call Him by many other names, it would make no difference to God while we worship Him in Spirit and in truth. The truth is that religion is designed to lead man away from the true path to Israel and the worship of the Living God in Spirit and in Truth. The majority of the professing Christians; call the name of Jesus, but do not walk in the precepts or nature of Jesus. We are however saved, not because we walk in the nature of Christ, but because we accept and believe in Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Thus, we see that faith is not of works. The Jew who has faith in the Messiah and does not do the work because of his ignorance, has the promise of God, “…him also will I bring.” As to whether God brings him one minute before death or brings him through tribulation, or however, is not part of our prerogative. Our prerogative is to believe God and to believe His word which He said, “Them also will I bring.”
Historically, the Jewish nation is one of the most maligned and persecuted nations. It is historically true that this type of tribulation causes a nation to draw closer to God. The Holocaust under Hitler and Nazi Germany was the greatest single blessing in disguise that the Jewish nation had since Jesus Christ.
Jeremiah 16:16 “Behold I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord and they shall fish them; and after I will send for many hunters and they shall hunt them from every mountain and from every hill and out of the holes of the rocks.”
The word of God has to be fulfilled on the spiritual level, but it must also manifest in its fullness on the natural level. If this word in Jeremiah 16:16 was only spoken to the spiritual people then we would not have seen such a vivid natural fulfillment in our time. The truth is that the Word of God must find its fulfillment on all levels. One occurrence will continue to happen over and over again until the fulfillment of that Word of God comes to its fullness.
Spiritual Israel:
Spiritual Israel (or God’s people from every area of their bondage) is now indeed returning to their land (their possession in God, which we lost in Adam). The world is controlled by spiritual forces. Natural things are only a manifestation of the spiritual.
Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
In our time we see something wonderful and beautiful happening. God is dealing with people of all the shades of belief and unbelief to bring us to ISRAEL – NOT A PLACE, OR A GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION, but to that Holy Nation and that Royal Priesthood. The nation that is now called by the name Israel and the many millions who are scattered all over the world with the name of Israel, obtained through their Godly inheritance, must also be dealt with by God. The will of God for them, as well as all others who would fall under the same category is to bring them unto God.
Daniel made the same error in his thinking which we make today. Daniel was crying to God for the deliverance of Israel and saying Lord what will be the latter end of this people. In his mind God’s people Israel was that people from Palestine who were now in Babylon as slaves. The message took twenty-one days to get to Daniel, and then the Angel Gabriel brought a peculiar story. He was hindered by the Prince of Persia – a devil Prince. Where did a devil prince or no prince, get the power to hinder God’s mighty messenger from performing his duties? The Arch-angel Gabriel did not have the authority to forgive sins, and the sins of the children of Israel were standing between them and the message of deliverance which Gabriel carried. The angel Gabriel therefore appealed to heaven and God sent Michael to help him. The Arch-angel Michael is the prince form heaven who God appoints to fight for the Children of God. (Israel) Daniel 12:1. However, the unfortunate position at that time was that the Israelites were serving various idols in Babylon and did not at all remain true to Jehovah God. The evidence of this can be seen in Daniel 3 where Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, three Hebrew young men, who refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar’s image. Of the many thousands of Jews there, only three did not bow. In view of this therefore, the Prince of Persia would claim these people as his people and not the people of God.
God had a blood covenant with Israel, not the blood of animals, but in the blood of Jesus Christ which was shed from before the foundation of the world. It transpires therefore that if Michael is the Prince who fights for the children of God, that his chief weapon must be the Blood of Jesus Christ. Even as the blood was used in Egypt to turn back the death angel, even so Michael used it in Babylon to turn back the Prince of Persia and free Gabriel to take the message to Daniel and to Israel.
When we examine the message however, we discover that it was given to the Israel of God even to the end of time, rather than just a narrow application of a message to the Jews. We find that the things which Daniel prophesied, all took place on the plain of the natural, but they still continue to take place on another plain, the plain of the spiritual. He accurately described the four great Kingdoms that would rule the earth even to the breaking up of the kingdom of Alexander the Great into four parts, and the one part, which would produce the Roman Empire – very accurate. We are still in this fourth kingdom. Daniel’s mess, therefore, is for us today.
Let us look at what is happening to the country of Israel at this time. In 1973, Israel was surrounded by Arab armies. She did not have the Gaza Strip, nor the West Bank, nor the Golan Heights. When the war was over she had all these, plus the Sinai Peninsula. She eventually gave back the greater part of the Sinai and made peace with Egypt. Terrorists were coming in from her northern border and she eventually attacked the terrorists in Lebanon and occupied south Lebanon, thus completely choking off all attacks on her northern cities.
During that period of time, let us look at the spiritual explosion which has been taking place in the Ministry of the Word of God, worldwide: The word of God is now being beamed from satellites into every corner of the earth. Some of the largest Radio Stations and the most powerful Television Stations are carrying the Word of God into previously forbidden territories. It is the first time in the history of the world that anyone could get ten or twenty million people to pray at the same time together. The potential is without scope. Something great is happening in the heavenlies. I am not talking about the men who are running these programs, since many of them are like children, they do not know what they are doing, but God knows what He is doing. I see people moving together in God as never before. I see God moving in our congregations all over this country, and all over the world, and He is bringing consciousness and cleanliness, and a desire in us to lay aside every weight and to walk in the absolute purity of God. We seem to be reaching up to touch that hem of His garment of power, and blessing and deliverance.
No longer when we talk of deliverance are we talking about someone being healed; we are past that stage. Deliverance now means to us, soul healing. Soul deliverance wherein we throw off the yoke of Babylon, of Satan, of humanism, (exalting the creature over the Creator) and reach out to become like Jesus Christ our Lord. These are the words of Jesus:
John 17:22 “And the Glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one even as we are one.”
We see a parallel between the things which are taking place in Israel, and the things which are taking place in the Church. In Israel there is a continuous confrontation between the Jews and the Arabs. In the church there is continuous confrontation between the Israel of God and the enemy. We would do well to open our eyes and look at the people who call themselves Israel, because what God is doing in them He is also doing in the Church. Even as they are mixed with good, bad and indifferent, so also is the church mixed and not all good.
I have heard people say that the people who live in Israel are imposters; that they are not the true Israel. There is no army or nation or church group that is absolutely pure, and if this argument could be used against Israel, then it could also be used against every other nation and institution on earth.
Israel Is Being Delivered:
What we are witnessing today in the spiritual, is the deliverance of Israel. We are being delivered not because we are pure, but for the opposite reason – because we need deliverance. The Israel of the end of time is being drawn from all humanity – from the Jew as well as from the Gentile.
In conclusion, we find Abraham, elect of God – the Elect man, bringing forth and Elect nation, which brought forth Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ brought forth Elect children, the Church:
Isaiah 53:10-11 “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, HE SHALL SEE HIS SEED, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
53:11 “He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.”
Jesus Christ was cut off after His three and a half years of ministry. The Church will complete His ministry in the Last Three and a Half Years of Time.
We see God saying to us now, that we the people of God are coming forth as the Elect for this time in order to, “Redeem the Time” but that God has not cast off the Elect of the previous times. God is bringing all together into one – Even those who are in the heavenlies must in our time come together with us into one Elect, one Israel, and our God is One. May the Lord anoint our eyes to see that God is not divided. There could not be one God of the Jews and another God for the Gentiles. God says that out of twain he is making, “ONE NEW MAN”. Let us be part of His great plan for the end of time. God bless you all. Amen.
