God Is Going to Pick up the Pace

I just praise the Lord for what God is saying. With more than words, God has moved in the Spirit. He wants to get inside us.

A few weeks ago, the Lord woke me up early one morning. He woke me up with urgency. Literally, He told me to get out of bed. As soon as I got up, the Spirit of the Lord was just thick, and I went down and I just sat before Him (the very thing Brother Campbell was talking about).

As I just sat and was still, God began to give me a vision. In the vision, as it started out, I was riding on a bicycle. It was like a two-seater and there was a white-haired man in front of me driving. We were just going along very slowly through the city.

Then the vision changed, and all of a sudden, we were going very fast, and I realized that we were on a motorcycle—and this white-haired man was still driving. We were going faster—we were literally zipping. Then the vision changed again, and I was in an airplane. This was not just some little Cessna 172. It was doing 90-degree banks and it had great speed. Then the vision changed again, and I was on the bridge of a starship going through space.

Then God began to speak to me about the pace. It is going to quicken! It is going to quicken beyond what we thought or realized! It is easy to say the pace is going to quicken, but the Lord showed to me that the change in pace will be as the change from traveling on a bicycle to literally hurling through space. He began to speak to me, and the scripture in Jeremiah 12:5 came to me that says, “If you have not been able to walk with the footman, how are you going to run with the horses?”

Then I began to meditate, and He spoke to me another scripture (Romans 8:14), “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” And He began to speak to me about the time when God begins to do what He is going to do—when things begin to move that fast—that the principles and things we have moved by in the past are not going to do it anymore. We are going to have to hear (literally) the Word of God to walk through the situations. It is not going to be a time to just go on past knowledge. We are going to have to hear the Word and go.

One more scripture (2 Timothy 2:4) that He spoke to me as I sat there: He said, “No soldier wanting to please his master entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life.”

I sat there, and God just began to speak to me about the kind of sobriety He wants to bring, and I saw another vision. I saw what looked like teenagers playing at the beach. Just playing volleyball—without a care in the world. Just carefree! And God began to speak to me about the state of a lot of the Church—literally having no idea [of the time we are in or what is coming].

Then the vision changed again, and I saw these young men dressed in soldiers’ gear. Battle gear! They were being transported into a battle. I saw the sobriety on their faces. The contemplation of what they were going into—It was just a complete change! The Lord began to speak to me again about the things He is going to do, and what is going to have to be birthed in the heart of His saints to understand the hour and the pace.

I just could have gone through the roof today when Brother Campbell began to share, because I knew that God did not show it just for me. We have no idea yet of the amount that God is going to pick up the pace.

God wants a people who are going to sit and be filled. If we will sit and be filled, and hear His voice, He is going to show us how to walk and to move in specific situations, because principle is not going to do it anymore.
