Ecclesiastes 3:11
When we first came here (I think it was in 1968), we were in Miami and were fellowshiping with a group of beautiful people. We saw a lot of things. Things that the Lord was doing in a people who were willing and wanting to move in something they had seen. However, we also saw that the world still had such a firm hold on these people. We saw afar off that they were hindered from growing in the Lord, and that both things together could never work God’s purpose.
There was one situation where there was a divorce coming up; and we started fasting and praying that God would do something, because divorce (as you know) is not for the Church; just like marriage is not for the world. The world cannot really love. Marriage is for God’s people.
We started praying, and we had a vision: There was this great “big” machinery (I mean you could not see the end of it), and it was just pulsing away. It seemed it worked every hour and it never ceased. We found ourselves in the middle of this great big machinery, and it was like we were being told that what we are praying about is this big machinery, and the voice spoke to me and said, “…And so tell your husband he will not win this one.”
That word puzzled me for along time, until God showed me that these people were not in divine order and there was no victory to be won. And with that word or revelation, came a thought (It is not perfected in my own spirit as yet, but I believe God is breaking something to us), that Satan saw God’s plan, and before Adam and Eve could get a proper grasp and have a proper understanding of what God had planned for man, he attacked Eve. You could see clearly that he got her in a time when she was in her “self.”
I do not know what God’s plan was, but there is a divine order that God has established in the earth, that is for our protection and our deliverance, and the glorification that we are looking for. Any home that is broken has lacked divine order.
This is going to be something that is very hard and very difficult for a lot of us to walk in. However, the sooner we lay a hold of it and walk in this divine order that God has established in the earth for His Church, the better it will be for us. God is working in the home, and any home where the man is not the head of his household will go to ruin. If a man is a wimp, he is to blame; but that does not give the woman the authority to get on top of him. If God has put you together, then God will give you the grace and the strength to get that man out of his wimpery (or whatever you call it) and stand up as a man. He may have been a wimp, not because of any fault of his own, but because he came out of a home that was not in divine order.
It takes two to bring up children in proper order, and so we see God working, working, working, and putting things right. May He help us to submit, because there is a great machinery in the earth, and it is out for destruction.
One of the visions that was seen at that time, when we were fasting for this condition, was of an airplane that we were all ready to board to go on a journey. We went in, but snakes had gotten into the plane, and they were having families. They were multiplying in the plane and they took it over.
That is exactly what happened to that group. They went from bad to worse. There were divorces, there was wife swapping, and all sorts of things happened there. That is why the voice said to us, “You will not win this one.” The intelligence that was in control knew what he had in his hand. As long as we remain in God’s divine order we are safe, but in this group, doctrines of disorder were being preached and believed. When we move outside of God’s order, we are in trouble.
We are in trouble, but I know there is something that God is doing in our favor. Allow Him to do it in your homes, brethren! Allow Him to do it in your homes. “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands….” (1 Peter 3:1). That is what the Word says, “…in the fear of God…submit yourselves unto your own husbands,” (Ephesians 5:21-22).
There is nothing that God is going to tell you to do that will be contrary to the order in the home. Nothing! It does not matter how much a word or thing is burning in my heart to do, unless my husband is in agreement, I have to say, “God, I am resting it right here.” Because you cannot break one order for another. God’s divine order is set. It cannot be changed. We have to come to it; and the same goes for the husband! If God says to do so and so, there must be an agreement, because if we do not have oneness we become weak.
It is very important that the head of the house knows where he stands with God, so that he can command the deliverance. Yes, command the deliverance for yourself and for your household. If you are in trouble with God, get to Him, get on your knees, get before Him and say, “Fix it now God, I am losing power here.” Clean the house so that we can move on in God’s divine order.
When a man and wife are moving in God’s divine order, the children fall in line and the devil will not be able to devour them. Many of the problems now stem from broken homes which God wants to repair. It does not matter how broken or how small the splinters are, He can repair and bring things together—If you trust Him! What Satan wants most of all is to destroy and to kill, but God said that we have the victory through Jesus Christ. If we have it, we must use it. BUT IT BEGINS AT HOME.
If you strayed from God’s plan for you and you took a wife or a husband of your soul’s choosing, then the problems are multiplied. Your disobedience, on top of her/his idols that she/he brings along from Egypt, is going to compound the problem. In such a case, we have to dig deeper into our armory to get deliverance. Hallelujah! Some have to go through blood and fire, which instead of killing us, will make us strong. Adversity will make us what we ought to be.
It rejoices my heart to see things for which we have waited coming to pass, but how my heart grieves sometimes when I come to a convention and see God’s people failing to submit to God’s Word and to what God has made available to us. I see playing—like people in the market place buying and selling. But I thank God for the last two meetings (California and here). My heart is encouraged; very much encouraged! Praise God!
We must remember that every move forward is challenged by Satan. But, there is something that is in the very depths of my heart now, that the time is so close and god is giving us the strength to put evil under our feet. Praise God! Hallelujah!
May God bless you, dear ones! Continue to pray for us. The walk in Christ is strait and narrow. It is not new to us. It has been from the beginning. I am not afraid of it. I see where I am going! Praise God! I know that it is not by merit, and so I just thank God for His grace, His love, His mercy; and press on! Praise God!
